My wife owns several pairs of the old ugg talls but these new classic talls were a huge disappointment. The foot bed is narrower than previous versions but the boot opening is MUCH larger. I've attached a photo to try to explain. Originally my wife ordered a 7 which is her normal size but the footbed was much narrower and the boot opening was "ok" but not as tight as the old style. We then ordered a size 8 (zappos is the best, thank you or the fast shipping) but the boot opening was to big now even though the footbed now fit. TLDR: size 7 footbed is much smaller than the old 7, size 8 the boot opening is much bigger than the old opening

I ordered both these (Tall II) and the older style (Tall) which does not feature the weatherproofing. Based on some reviews, we (my daughter and I because they are for her) wanted to compare. They look identical and fit the same, the only difference is, with the older style (Tall), the suede has that effect where when you touch it, it shows the different shades, whereas with the newer style with the weatherproofing (Tall II), the suede is a more uniform look, with no shading that suede usually shows when you touch or rub it. Even though the look of the older style is marginally nicer if you like that look, the newer style still looks very nice and the weatherproofing seemed worth it if it helps the boots to look cleaner and helps them stand up to water damage. If you live somewhere temperate with no snow, then the original would be fine and they cost less.

Zappos customer service ROCKS! I bought my wife a pair of Tall Ugg boots for Mother's day & unfortunately they split down one of their seams after 3 months. I called & explained what happened & we had a new pair shipped to us in 2 days! At no cost to us for the new pair or returning the old. Zappos is the only way to buy shoes!

I have a question, my Uggs came in a plain box, nothing written on it. No sign of "Ugg" written or stamped anywhere. I found it odd as my tall tan Uggs I ordered came in an Ugg box with a Sku number, etc. These fit, I ordered an 8 but usually wear a 9. They do have a black Ugg tag on the back but like I said, the box itself they came in is blank and there is no paperwork, no tag, no pamphlet..nothing indicating they are genuine Uggs or how to care for them. Has anyone else had this happen with the black classic Tall II?

Ok here I go.....are they true Uggs or phony Uggs? I give up. I own two pair of Uggs that I purchased over the last five years. My sand ones...which I wear the most...developed a cut in the right toe area...should have more frequent manicures? I started on my quest to purchase Classic II tall Uggs Sand color. Went to two local stores in my area...no luck. I then thought Zappos might have them...which they did. I was a little put off by someone mentioning that she thought that her Uggs that she bought through Zappos might be phony. Well I thought what the heck if they are I’ll just send them back. Received my boots yesterday and they looked pretty good. I did notice that the label at the heel did not have “Australia” on them but the soles look authentic...the only negative thing is they are Made in Vietnam. But what’s the big difference between China...where original Ugg’s are made...and Vietnam? The workmanship is great, they fit great so I’m keeping my “phony” Uggs and just enjoy them! By the way, I also went to another “authorized” Ugg store and looked at their samples on display.... no Australia on the heel labels, the soles look exactly like mine, quality exactly like mine, made in China, price $199.00...but nothing in my size. Plus they were delivered free to my home...should have saved my gas and started at Zappos!

I have had Uggs since middle school I have gone through like 4 pairs until this point where i am a freshman in college. I have always liked Uggs they kept my feet warm and work good in the snow but until this pair I didn't love them. I only really wore them when it was really cold because my feet got to hot in them and sweated bad. My Uggs always smelled and the fur wore out quickly. Well with this pair i found the problem I always wore socks. Growing up my mom told me it was awful to go without socks so she made me scared, so i always wore socks. I Remember my friends going without socks in their Uggs and theirs lasted a long time and didn't smell. I always wanted to try it and i did a few times but the longest i went without was like two hours it was very comfy but i was scared to ruin them. With this pair it is my first pair i bought after i moved out to college and I told my self i am going to get over my fear and try to wear them barefoot. Its October when they came and I tried them on and they fit perfect I got a size down because I was going to go without socks. I decided to wear them to the library to to test it was a 5 min walk and cold I thought i would get blisters but the soft fur kept my feet super comfy. As I walked the more I fell in love with them. I thought my feet would sweat in the library but my feet stayed the perfect temp. When I got back I didn't want to take them off. The rest of the winter I don't think I wore a different shoe. They kept my feet super comfy from walking in foot deep snow to sitting in class for hours and they don't even smell somehow. If you wear Uggs and have never worn them barefoot you are missing out.

I luv my Uggs. The first thing I did was take them for a spin in the autumn leaves. It’s 32 degrees outside and I didn’t wear socks. Just the Uggs. Rode my bike 2 miles in them and was feeling fine! Sam upgraded my shipping for free, so I got them overnight. They’re surprisingly light-weight and go 2/3 up my calf (I’m 5’7”). Since they’re called “Tall,” I thought they’d go up to my knee, which is what I was expecting. But when I tried them on, I realized that they look better this way because otherwise they’d have more a rain boot look, too much like I’m going to do heavy gardening or do some plumbing work. What I like about them is depending on my outfit, I could almost do business casual with them on the east coast. They’re not chunky. I’d call them a moderate winter shoe.

I purchased these because the waterproof idea sold me. But when I received the I didn't like a few things. 1-They are stiff...maybe because of the extra chemical on them for the waterproof...but I didn't like it. 2-The inside wasn't really furry, it was more of a wool texture. It was comfy and warm but I didn't really like that. 3-The ugg sign on the back of the boot is black, not white font as pictured and That kinda threw me off because u really can't tell they r uggs then. Maybe not a deal breaker for everyone but it was for me lol. I overall didn't like them and was mad at myself for not getting the bailey bow in the first place. Don't get me wrong, they are warm, comfy, and they really are waterproof (I put them under running water and the water slipped right off) but I didn't like that they changed them. I ended up exchanging them for the bailey bow and am a happy camper now.

These are fake...right? What happened to Uggs? Ive purchased multiple pairs of the Classic Talls over the past 2 decades. I hadn’t ordered a new pair since about 2012 and I’m shocked at the current result. I honestly laughed when I opened the box - these are a joke and are going back immediately. If I didn’t love and trust Zappos I would have called these as a knock off.

Very Comfy and cute! Eveyone needs a pair of UGGS in their closet! The only thing that stuck out is the minimal amount of sheepskin on the inside. They're thinner than the UGGS I've purchased more than 10 years ago and I remember them being waaaay more fluffier on the inside! Makes me wonder if there's a sheepskin shortage... *shrugs*

I love these boots, the II style Uggs is such an upgrade. The sole seems thicker and the boot itself feel much more sturdy. I wear a size 10 and had to order a size 9. I only wish Uggs offered half size because a 9.5 would be perfection, but I do know they stretch. You will not regret buying these boots and as usual Zappos is hands down the best place online to order shoes.

The UGG Classic tall II is the first pair of UGG shoes I own and I live them. They are true to size, i wear a size 8 and ordered a size 8. They fit perfectly with a heavy sock. They are warm & cozy with the wool lining on the shaft and foot area. They are also surprisingly light and have a fexible sole so they dont feel clunky. Very easy to wear and I am happy with this purchase. I shopped around and found other UGG boots for less but they didnt have the upgraded sole. Its worth the $ to get the lighter weight, flexible sol

I normally wear size 8 and these boots are no different (to me that’s always a good sign). I put off buying a pair of Ugg’s for many reasons ($), but comfort was foremost; I didn’t think the shaft would work for my calves - surprise! These were my Christmas present so I was lucky, but in my opinion these Ugg’s are worth the price.

Love these boots! I wear a size 8 & purchased these in an 8 which was perfect. If you’re normally a 8.5, you’ll need to size up to a 9 with these. These Classic II are pre-treated to be water & stain resistant which is a big plus compared to the original. I’ve worn these in the snow & it just brushes right off without any issues! I was contemplating on getting the Bailey Button Triplet or these, but glad I went with these instead. The material is thicker so the boot shaft holds up better (no slouching or folding). Also, there isn’t any shearling sticking on the outside that can get matted up, so it gives your boot a cleaner look!

I ordered these as a gift for my daughter in Colorado. I selected chestnut color, but they seem to be sand instead. She had already worn them before I knew it so I couldn’t exchange them. Fortunately, she likes the color and loves the fit. Just be careful that they are the color you ordered.
