This fleece hoody is nice looking and very warm. North face appears to have used thicker fabric this year over previous versions. I also like the lighter blue trim on the zippers. I could not give it five stars though because this year's version is sized differently and caused me to have to purchase a size 3XL where last year a 2XL fit fine (and still does). I was somewhat disappointed since the 3XL cost $20 more than the 2XL.

The sizing chart told me to get a 3XL jacket but when the jacket arrived and I tried it out, I found the arms were WAY too long and I had a lot of extra room in the torso. Still an amazing jacket but I'll have to return it for a smaller size :)

The denali hoodie is an awesome jacket. For those who are a little taller, this jacket runs short. I am 6'3, about 235 lbs with an athletic build. I ordered a large which fits perfectly everywhere except it is a little short in length. I'm not sure how ordering an XL would help, but if you want your absolute money's worth and you are tall, I would try something with a specific "tall" fit.

Use for colder weather but probably not for use in weather below 30 degrees.

I bought this as a gift for my husband who is 5'3". Unfortunately the size small is too long and had to be returned.

I bought this to replace an older Denali hooded which didn't fit anymore. Despite being the same price, newer one was missing a few features: zippered cooling vents under the armpits, reversible zipper (I thought ) and snaps to fit this under a shell. Bit of a disappointment but already donated my older one. Good warm fleece but can't be attached to a shell.

The color was not as pictured and was too big however it was a nice jacket.

I like the Denali 2. The wind protection is poor in a strong wind. I went to Manhattan in February, this jacket didn't help at all.I am glad I brought my Northface Mcmurdo parka It would have been a short trip. A jacket that doesn't have good wind protection does not help much. The Large was too small and the extra large that I have it too big. I can give it 3 stars.

Great looking jacket. Comfort and style are there but keys features being removed results in 3 stars. Warm but wind penetrates pretty easily. If your going to buy a Denali, I would suggest the hoodie and the previous model. Pit zippers, hook colar, and sleeve snap ons(for tri jackets) are removed. Paid half the price, only a naive shopper will pay full price for this downgraded version.

Great jacket that keeps you warm in the winter. I bought a Northface last year the same jacket but I must say the one last year felt warmer, it was a little larger in size and weight. This one was a little thinner and shorter dimensions.

So everything you have read is true about this jacket. It is warm, stylish and comfy. However, it has one big design flaw, it has no wind resistance at all. Wind just blows straight through. So that means under certain conditions it is useless. I wore it in frosty weather with a mild wind and the cold went straight through the jacket to the point where a thin windbreaker is more effective and waterproof. So I wear both when necessary. This really knocks it down on how versatile it is.

I love this jacket, the media pocket is awesome and the hood is super warm! This is not a wind proof jacket as the other reviews will atest to. I've received alot of compliments on this jacket.

Nice jacket. I have a Denali from 10 years ago. This jacket is not as warm. It's still pretty good

This is the first time I've ever been unhappy with a North Face product. Not warm at all. The wind goes right through it. Zappos was great as usual - fast, reliable free shipping and no argument about the return.

If you lift and have the least bit broad shoulders or chest, don't bother buying this jacket. Every bend or reach will make you feel like you're wearing a jacket from when you were 10 years old. Sleeve length is terrible as is the length of the jacket itself.

Why does North Face always get rid of great features on it's products??? Please bring back the pit zips!!! It was one of the best ways to control body temperature and not overheat. I lost my previous Denali hoodie while hunting. So I ordered this one not even thinking they'd get rid of such a practical element as pit zips. Please bring back the under arm zips. Thank you

TNF Denali Hoodie is relatively comfortable though it is tight around the shoulders and bulky because of the fleece. The product is also relatively Expensive which is normally the case with TNF products :( Major problem: The fleece is NOT that warm primarily that the wind CUTS right through the fleece!! Go around and notice people wearing a hoodie or other clothing Underneath their Denali jacket. Buy one and wear it on windy days and you'll understand why people wear a sweater/jacket underneath the Denali jacket! Fashionable? Obviously yes! Functionality? Limited but acceptable. Warmth? Maybe.. It MAY keep you warm Depending on how you dress. Wear the Denali jacket underneath a shell or regular jacket and yes, you'll be warm but you'll also be snug and somewhat uncomfortable. Did I mention about the fleece's bulkiness. BUT... on windy days... FORGET IT! The wind WILL cut through the fleece and you WILL FREEZE >:( Recommend: Heck no! Won't EVER buy any fleece again, esp. from TNF, unless it blocks out the wind!

Poor quality! This was a little suprising...Perhaps it was the holiday rush. Consider making size tall items....Sizing up only provided width not width and length.
