Got this as a gift to replace a 15 year old more technical Gore-Tex North Face shell so a little bit of a down grade for me. I typically stay away from all-in-one jackets, but this one has looks and features of more expensive ski jackets with a more reasonable price, the insulated liner was a bonus. I like the pit zips, helmet compatibility and cinches on waist. I'm 5'6" and struggled to find a jacket with shorter sleeve length, but this one fit perfect. The secure-zip wrist pocket with goggle wipe seems a little gimmicky, might use for chap stick or cash. The insulating liner jacket is not that great, but that's not why I bought the jacket and it's good enough for fair skiing conditions. I would trade it out for a down puffer for colder weather. I have two kids under 3 years old so I don't get to ski much right now, but I recommend this as a an on piste ski jacket. I would recommend upgrading to a more expensive and durable jacket for back country or more technical adventures.

My boyfriend has very wide broad shoulders and back. It's been an extreme challenge trying to find a jacket to fit his back and biceps. Most xxl were designed for height not girth. I was encouraged when I read the reviews but disappointed when he tried it on.

I'm 5'11, and wear a large. The fit is good around the chest and shoulders, but the jacket itself is too long. To put my hands in the pockets, I have to extend them down completely. It's a little awkward. I would not buy this jacket again for that reason. I tried on a couple of other jackets that were size large, and they fit very well. But I wanted this jacket, and was not able to find one to try on.

Great coat that fits a bit bigger than expected. XL and I am 6-1 and 215#. It fits much better than the other triclimates, with plenty of room in the upper back.

The color is nothing amazing and that's ok. The design is great and functional. You can dress the coat up or down which is nice. Warm

True fit sizing fit me to a large. Too big for me. Medium is a better size Lots of jacket, best used for snowboarding/skiing or mountain expeditions.

Good ski/snowboard resort jacket - runs a little big. Nice layering system included with mid weight layer.

Two jackets in one. I am not entirely impressed by the zippers because they seem clumsy and rough. Overall though, the jacket was worth the (sale) price. Some of the Pros apply to one jacket or the other...not to both.

This jacket is great for winter! It's very warm and windproof. The removable hood is a nice touch, and it has plenty of large pockets. I was able to take it skiing before the end of the season, and kept the cold out well. As far as fit goes, I think if I would've gone down a size, it would've been too small, but feels a touch large. Also, the neck opening seems a bit large, but would accommodate a gaiter. I'm 6'0", 170 lbs.

the two in one is a hell of idea. y'all found a way to keep people warm without the bulk. I'm just picky and big on neck protection so I only wish the inside jacket collar was more closed in or either made adjustable to protect the neck more for windy conditions other than that the jacket is perfect

Bought this jacket for winter sports use and it worked well on recent skiing trip. Wasn't cold at all while out all day. Might be a bit warm for casual use when the temperature is closer to freezing, but definitely works well in windier conditions and colder temps.

This is a great all around jacket for months like March. If it's rainy and cold the extra liner comes in handy. When it warms up a bit the liner comes out making a perfect lightweight water proof jacket.

The jacket is great and sofar warm. However a few things to note, if you are doing downhill sport, are; the snow skirt for the jacket is behind the liner so if you do it up with the liner in, it's akwardly buldged; the cuffs for the jacket do not have do not have an inner sleeve that would catch the snow, so gloves that come over the sleeve a little will be wanted. There is a clip on shock cord I'm the right pocket to hang a lift ticket on. However because up is the closed position on all of the pockets, that clip my be in the way of you try to hang it out of the pocket with the ticket. At first glance it seems that the hoods draw cords are free without something to hold them in place, but the mechanism is inside the fabric. The inner jacket is much less bulky than it looked I see this as a positive and don't see it being too cold. This jacket would be great for winter walking hiking and most things the north face brand is about. But to be marketed as ' designed for skiing/snowboarding' falls a bit short as far as bells and whistles go. A button to hold down the hood would be much welcomed as well as a positioning for headphones, buttons instead of velcro (in my opinion) as well as the previously mentioned things

Great winter coat. I need it for sub zero weather in Minnesota, but bought it after the coldest part of the year. I'll be ready for next winter.

I was looking for a heavy coat (currently have a NF Apex and Denali) that was wind and waterproof that would work in urban and camping environment. The quality and and function was fine, but the style was not my taste. I returned it and purchased the Outer Boroughs Triclimate and I love it. this had all the clement does, but is warmer and way more stylish.

I am 5'9" and 155 lbs. A medium in this jacket was slightly big. The sleeves were also slightly big. A small, however, was too small. Other than that, i am happy with the jacket.

I was looking for a replacement coat for my old North Face which lasted five years. Based on the North Face website and looking for a sale item, this coat was recommended to me. The coat fits well and is stylish and understated. Overall it is a good coat, but it may be too light for a cold winter coat, which means adding layers to stay warm.

First thing that stands out about this coat is it's material durability. I am not afraid to brush against certain things or even have a bad spill down an icy ski hill. I wish the cut was a little less boxy. People complained of it tight in the waist but I don't see that at all. Streamline the arms and waist and it is the perfect coat if your looking for a tough waterproof jacket built for the elements. Overall I would probably buy this coat again.

It's a good jacket, outer jacket seems to fit a bit too big. The elastic loops that hold the inner jacket in place at the sleeves ripped, need something more durable to keep in place. Another button would have been better choice rather than an elastic loop
