Looking for a waterproof boot that was exactly like the UGG classics. This is it.. waterproof and sturdy which is required when working around elementary students. Usually wear a 6.5 but ordered a 7. Felt loose at first but after a few times wearing them, it felt like a glove . Just the same feeling of a short UGG classic boot. If you want a boot that can handle Fall and Winter weather, feels like you slipped into a UGG Classic and the looks .. WOW .. This is the boot . I have a pair of Orellen weather boots.. These boots beat the old pairs by far..

aahhhh after SO much trial and error, returns , exchanges, trials and adventures I finally found warm winter boot I love!! I was looking for something to wear for down time/casual outings on cold winder days. I've experimented with lots of uggs and also some other brands that make similar type shoes, I'm glad I ended up keeping what I got through zappos - of all the places I shopped at through this experience they were by far the friendliest, easiest to communicate within delivery was more fast than anywhere else. about the shoes: I got a ten. for reference I snugly fit into a 9 classic short 2, these run a little roomy for me in a 10, .but not so much they feel like I got the wrong size, technically I'm a 9.5 but I often go for a ten because I have very high arches, I did struggle to get them on, they are a bit difficult in that respect but once I got them on -- they fit with space for thick socks if I felt like it - and comfy in my bare feet and no pressure on my arches!! or on anywhere for that matter. just have to stretch out the opening a little for easier on and off but I think that will happen. I had resisted these for a while thinking they were too cutesy but I'm supposed to be a grown up. ha. but once I put them on I'm like --- life is for living -- my feet are warm and comfy finally - I'm keeping these! ha. I'd planned to remove the tassles but they are pretty well secured in there so maybe I'll just leave them. I also worried they would be hard to keep clean, I got the brown as that was what was in my size. I guess time will tell. but the sole is sturdy, and I like that so much more than classic uggs. I love the sheepskin/wool interior but just can't get myself to really like the sole of classic uggs, always feels too flimsy to me, i'm really glad I found this sort of hybrid style where there is a bit more structure but they are still quite comfy inside. hopefully these will last a long time but if I need cozy winter boots in future I'll check out uggs with these similar soles.
