I haven't worn these out of the house yet, but I don't think I need to in order to praise their comfort. Nothing binds or cuts and the footbed is cushiony. The toe box is wide enough (my toes would immediately complain if it weren't). The leather is soft but the shoe still has a structured look. The style is simple and casual and not dressy, but dressy enough to wear with something other than jeans. The cognac color is rich and a nice change from black or brown, but it's "calm" enough to be versatile. I like the look and feel of the flat sole, but I am someone for whom raised heels are a thing of the past. The indentations that extend up from the bottom of the shoe onto the sides of the sole give them a bit of a sporty look, but don't detract too much from the refinement of the upper.

While not the most stylish boot I have ever owned these are comfortable and fit well. I wear a size 9 in most boots and ordered a size 40 in the cognac color. I was looking for a flat everyday ankle boot to wear with jeans and these fit the bill. I have bunions and flat feet and the toe box is wide enough which is often a problem with boots. The bottoms will also provide some traction in wet weather. Overall a nice boot and I am keeping them!

The color on the photo looked more burgundy-ish, but there is more brown than red color. Will send them back. They feel comfy, are not too stylish.

These shoes get A+ for comfort and style. However, I was looking for shoes in a deep wine color, and these were more golden. A beautiful color, but am returning them.

Super cute boots but too small and narrow on my feet.

Ecco is about the only shoe brand that consistently fits me. I have a pretty narrow foot and wear a 9.5. Size 40 in this boot is a perfect fit, with an added arch insert and light socks. I always add Birkenstock's arch support to every shoe because I have quite high arches. The boots are minimal in design and very comfortable right out of the box. They are great for casual wear. I bought black.

I liked the way this boot felt as far as the amount of support and how well the sole fit my foot. The problem for me, is overall it just felt too tight with a light weight boot sock. A little too narrow and tight in the heel. A wide width probably would be just right but not available, so I returned them. It is well made and looked good on.

Very nice rich leather finish and brown color. Comfortable day one, wore them for hours with no breaking in time. They strike perfect balance of casual and stylish enough for dressing up.

Wonderful boots! I was looking for something cute, flat, able to be worn with jeans or a skirt, with arch support. These boots fill the bill and as others have said, they were comfortable right out of the box. I will be able to wear them all day walking in the city.

This boot is so comfortable to stand in all day. They're a little looser in the ankle area than I was looking for, but the comfort makes up for it. I have a slightly wider than normal foot. I also felt they run almost 1/2 size smaller than marked.

These were attractive in a basic way and the leather was nice and soft, not stiff at all. Even though there were zippers on both sides, they took a little effort to get my foot in the boot because the opening of the boot where the top part of your ankle resides is quite narrowed from the mouth/opening of the boot itself. The lack of support felt like buying a cheap pair of sneakers and having to put your own insoles inside. Problem is, if you put a thicker insole in the boot, it would fit too tight because there is low clearance inside the boot, meaning there is barely a quarter of an inch between the top of my foot and the top of the boot. Even with the thin manufacturer insoles, I'd have to wear very thin socks for this to be comfortable. If I sized up these issues might resolve but then it would be too long of a shoe. They are true to size in length. Meanwhile, the ECCO Crepetray GORE-TEX® Boot is plenty roomy all around, even for my wide feet, and has tons of arch support, and waterproof too. It looks a bit edgier than the Bella Zip Boot so if you need more room consider the Crepetray.

These booties really rock. Zappos always selects the right size for me, and these were a roomy, comfortable fit. There is enough space for me to add fleece insoles, which will make them lovely in winter, and I can take them out if the weather is too warm. Very comfortable width. But I have to tell you the very best thing about these booties, and that's that they have TWO zippers, one on each side, which makes getting them on and off a breeze! I have high insteps and this has always been a problem for me in trying to get boots on. I totally recommend these booties. Easy to walk in. I put them on as soon as they arrived in my house and went out shopping. Perfect.

Nicely constructed boot. Comfortable and good support.

My usual size was not available, so I took a chance and ordered the next size up. I usually wear a 9 1/2 or 10 so I took a chance on the 10/10.5. This boot is too big for me, but is probably true to size. Nice looking boot and the double zipper makes putting them on very easy.

Wore them all day right out of the box! I wanted something simple to wear with cropped jeans for a casual look this winter. These are super comfortable. They are so light, it feels like I’m wearing ballet flats, but with amazing arch support. The double zip makes them easy to slip on and off. Perfect!

Super comfortable, lightweight and beautiful!! Size is true. High toe box, which is perfect for me. No break-in needed. What more could you want?

Unfortunately, the heel area was pretty wide and the boot flopped around on my foot. I generally love Ecco boots but I had to send these back.

Beautiful boots, clearly of great quality. Unfortunately I should have ordered a larger number as a 10 was too small and I couldn't even slip my feet inside to try them out. My loss...

I love these boots. The dual zippers make it so easy to put on. They are comfortable, easy to walk in and keep my feet warm. The leather is soft and flexible and easily accommodates my growing bunion. I highly recommend this Ecco boot.

Super comfortable booties, lightweight and flexible but with solid support. I bought these in the forest green color, which is a nicely subtle alternative to black. I wear these with skirts or pants, and the boots are flattering to both. Really glad I got these.

I have been looking for a pair of just comfortable boots for awhile. Spotted these, and bought them. I wear usually a 7.5, but once in awhile will need a size 8. After reviewing the comments, I bought the size 39. Perfect fit for me. Comfortable right out of the box. I worn them to work the following day, and no problem. I like the simple look, and the zippers on both sides make for easy off/on. I chose the dark green, almost black and love the color. I am very happy with these Ecco boots. Would buy another pair, if the brown were available in my size.

The 39s feel a bit maybe too short, but the 40s were definitely too big around the ankle. So far I've had a bit of pain along the top of my feet on long walks (4 miles), but am hoping that will ease up as the boot stretches across the ball of the foot. They're excellent multipurpose boots for Virginia winter weather.

I love these boots! Very comfortable for a full day of work including a half mile walk to and from the parking garage.

I just changed shoe sized from 6 to 6.5. These booties came with removable insoles which is a necessity for me. Wore them out with jeans tonight and they are soft, comfy and great looking. If my feet don't grow again, I will be wearing these babies for years to come. Great looking and well made shoe.

I love everything about these boots. They are comfortable. The color is fabulous.
