Very narrow, cheap feeling quality for price. It felt as thought the shoe was tipping backwards. The heal didn't feel right. Finding shoes that fit sucks.

I'm still looking for a good hiking boot with a straight-last/wide toe box. These were close, but still narrower in the toe box than I expected, given I wear New Balance and Asics shoes in the same size. 15 4E is very underserved in hiking boots - not many options.

I love these boots. It’s been my experience that boots are often not as comfortable as shoes. These boots come close. Good for hiking but I just needed them for heavy rain. They’re all I needed. I appreciate that they come in such a wide variety of sizes. Women’s boots are never wide enough. I wear special orthotics that are very wide and just won’t fit in women’s shoes. Even though these are men’s sizes they fit my foot like a glove. Thanks to Drew for making a really high-quality, good looking, comfortable boot.

This was the only boot, anywhere, that had everything I wanted: waterproof, slip resistant, and in my size. I normally wear 10 1/2 6E but I wanted to wear heavy socks with these boots so ordered 11 6E. Good thing I did as there is no room to spare. The tag doesn't show the slip resistant feature listed online but they do seem to grip well on ice and snow. For the high price, I am disappointed in the comfort, especially around the ankle. As another reviewer pointed out, the lacing is awkwardly placed, making them difficult to lace tight and comfortable. Perhaps more padding is needed behind the laces. If it weren't for the size issue, I would have gone with different boots at half the price.

Was happy with the boots until 3 months after purchase when the seam on the right boot started coming apart. Also had to take the bottom foot pad out of one boot as it kept riding up at the heel.

My husband has a very high instep and is difficult to fit. We went to our local shoe store and the shoe whisperer specially ordered a pair of Drews to try. They are the first shoe to comfortably fit my husband. We had a snow storm last winter and my poor husband had no waterproof shoes. He ordered these in a 4E and they fit perfectly. They are well made and sturdy. It's going to be a rough winter in the PNW and he'll be ready.

These are the most comfortable hiking/waterproof boots I've owned. I have very wide feet plus orthotics which push the shoe out even further. There is no way women boots are ever wide enough, which means I haven't had any. With this years rain and bad weather I desperately needed something. A women 8 2E shoe size translated into the mens 7.5 4E and has lots of room for the orthotic. Glad I found them.

Size was pretty close to what I expected. Was surprised that 6E is as narrow as it was (I typically wear 4E and these felt at least that narrow). I did not like the location of the upper lacing as it doubled up right where the ankle hinges which made it uncomfortable to get a tight fit around the ankle, the foot bed was comfortable and the boot is snug as they should be for a "hiking" boot. The toe box did seem to be a little small given the size of these boots as well. Returned and will continue my search for a new pair of boots. Ordered in: 12 6E

Quick lace hook/cleat far too tight for lace to slide thru and top cleat pulled out when lacing. I reordered but cleat on replacement pair was just as unusable. I'd have to either take needle nose pliers to cleat to bend it out or get new, narrower laces, and I shouldn't have to do that with a boot costing over $200. Also, kind of narrow for EEEEEE. Frustrating, I really wanted these to be The Ones for my uber-wide, hard to fit feet.

Spent a week hiking in Vermont with these. I can happily say as someone who has wide, boat-like feet (11.5, 4-6E), these were a great buy. It didn’t matter the length of the trail or the difficulty, or even when going up or down. The boots provided both stability and comfort the whole time.

Great boot for the snow, bought them to go tubing up in the mountains. Maybe a little clunky for simply waterproof usage, but excellent for the snow.

Two long walks ans my very wide feet are happy. As they break in a little I know this is a great shoe. Support excellent and interior smooth comfortable.

FINALLY!!! A hiking boot that comfortably surrounds my tortilla shaped foot.

The cleat/lace hooks are very tight and one broke off the second time I lace them up. I'll exchange for a new pair, hopefully it was just bad cleats on that pair of boots.

There's an awful pressure point around the second hook-eye down from the top inside, making it painful at the ankle. Unwearable. Too bad, because it's an otherwise good looking boot in black.

It took 7 tries (thank you Zappos for your quick return/refund policy), but I finally found the boots that fit my almost square feet! I ordered a size 8 mens 4W and they are perfect. And they look unisex. I LOVE THEM. I usually am between an 9=9.5 women's, but they are never wide enough. Yesterday I wore these with my snowshoes and they were great. No break in period needed. YAY.

For these boot I read the review and they said if your a 4e get the 6 e. They were right

I have very wide feet (bunions) and falling arches. Plenty of room in this boot for my toes and orthotics. A little stiff out of the box, but I expect leather to loosen with wear. Lives up to waterproof claim

I really liked the look and feel of this boot, but unfortunately the tongue was sewn up so high that I was unable to even get my foot in. I wear Exosym braces that keep my from bending my ankle so I need a wide, deep shoe. Sorry to say that it won't be a Drew boot. I'll have to stick with the wide, deep Dunham Cloud boot that I'm rather sick of, but it works.

Comfortable, roomy with ok arch support. Good looking boot.

Was narrower then other brands of the same size

I was exited to get them because they were advertised as wide toe box shoes. I ordered a 12.5 w a hard shoe to find. They were so narrow out the box I laughed, they were so tight I didn't even give them a chance. Very disappointing for a shoe at that price.

Very comfortable. Good traction

I actually tool size13 9E after my surgery, and had to buy 2 pair of shoes, one 9E, one normal wide. I was re measured recently, and doctor said I may fit in 6E. After reading all the reviews I decided to give these Drew boots a shot. They fit great. The width seems right on, foot fits nice. My other foot was slightly loose but lacing them up tight seems to do the trick. There is lots of toe room, enough where I actually noticed there is toe room... So yes I am happy and yes I would recommend. Hope that helps.

These boots fit great and comfortable to wear. Truly waterproof too.
