My 7 year old daughter has narrow feet and is unbelievably sensitive to shoes that are the least bit uncomfortable. She would complain about a seam or stitch on the shoe, or a tag, or the rise of the shoe too high hitting her ankle malleoli or too low that they would feel like slipping off the heel... but after trying on about 10 pairs of ballet flats (thank you Zappos for your understanding!), she picked these as the most comfortable. We did not have to stick on any heel pads or pressure pads for these shoes! Cute design. The footbed is soft. My daughter only wears these shoes out to dinner or recitals and performances, so we cannot speak to how they would hold up with vigorous everyday wear. I will certainly be getting bigger sizes once she outgrows these.

Got these in black matte. Daughter wears size 1 in every other shoe she has...purchased these in size 1 and size 2 (the 1.5 was out of stock). The size 1 were way too tight...and her heel slipped out of the size 2. We kept the size 2 and I put in stick-on heel pads and my daughter said the shoe didn't feel big anymore and her heel didn't slip. She would have fit 1.5, so these run half a size small. If you want these shoes to last longer, get a full size bigger and put in foot pads and heel pads. Also, I purchased probably 15 different pairs of black ballet and Mary Jane shoes to find one that passed my daughter's comfort test. This pair has a low profile so sides won't cut into the malleoli at the ankle, and also one of a few shoes that doesn't have a seam at the heel that my daughter can feel that rubs on her heel. I'll probably stick with this style for future ballet flats for my daughter.

My picky 4.5 year old chose these after trying on MANY flats. They looked comfortable, flexible, and to be of good quality so I was fine paying the price for them thinking so would get many uses out of them. However, she wore them to the wedding we bought them for one night, maybe 4 hours, and all the glitter around the toe rubbed off. Sending them back.

This shoe is phenomenal! It's a stylish, classic and timeless look for a dress shoe. My daughter has a very narrow foot and I purchased these shoes in her exact shoe size. They were a tad snug, but still the right size and wearable as dress shoes with no socks. Love this brand!

My daughter loved these shoes! She needed a dressy pair of black shoes for a spring concert and everything else we tried was either too small or fell off her feet when we sized up. These fit great. Her toe was very close to the top of the shoe (not length-wise, but height) so I hope she doesn't have issues with that and that we have enough room to grow since these are a bit pricey for an occasional shoe. Overall very cute and I love that they are just like the adult shoe!

I am a fan of sam edelman shoes for girls, they make a nice shoe for festive occassions. I knew as soon as I saw these my little girl would love them, they are well made and super cute in person. The perfect shoe for a rainbow loving girl :) Unfortunately they run large, my daughter can grow into these so I am debating keeping them until they fit.

I read a lot of the other reviews that mentioned these ballet flats ran small, so I ordered a full size larger for my daughter. That was a big mistake. They fit her a full size too large and I don't have time to return them for a replacement since there's an event she needs to wear them for right away. (Not good planning, I know.) I'm not sure if some colors run smaller than others, but from my experience the black patent ones run true to size. Otherwise, they're really cute and seem like they would be comfortable.

I absolutely loved these shoes and so did my daughter....she wanted to be different and wear them at her first holy communion....unfortunately Daddy said they were "too" different and we went with a lighter blue pair

I bought these shoes for my daughter and she just ran around in them saying I love these shoes... they're so comfy! She's ten years old and wore them to school the very next day. She came home without any blisters or any complains of her feet hurting. I'm just thrilled about these shoes.

My daughter loves these cute, sparkly shoes. She hasn’t walked long distances in them, so I don’t know how comfortable they would be for doing lots of walking, but as a shoe for dressing up, they seem fine so far.

I bought these shoes for my daughter. We had the same pair a few years ago and she was able to wear them right away with no discomfort or complaining. They look great and she is happy. So happy they had them on Zappos!!

These shoes are cute but beware, they run bigger than the women's size 5 Sam Edelman. They are also wider.

I own several (adult) pairs of these flats, so I was excited to have a need for my daughter to have a pair of dressier flats. We ordered them to go with her Christmas dress. She loved that they were so comfortable - no complaints from the very first time she wore them!

As an adult with small feet, it's always hard to find flats that fit. These were perfect because they didn't look too immature and they fit! I recommend these shoes to anyone who has small feet and looking for a pair of simple black flats!
