These are beautiful to look at. On inspection, they're well constructed. Love this color (burnished stone) a sort of dark grayish green. The laces match the color, and with the unusual shade, wish shoes came with pair of lace replacements. When i first put my foot in, they fit like a glove. The problem came when I stood up. The way the heel is designed was a dealbreaker. While this is considered a low heel, the fact that the heel itself is perfectly flat, lacking the slightly rounded back edge typical of Dansko, means that one's proper gait process of heel strike, then roll to ball of foot, is impossible. One just sort of clomps around. Also, the heel seems designed a bit higher at the back than the front of heel, causing one to feel perched on a slight decline, tantamount to a high heel effect on the posture. They are pretty, but i had to return.

I've been looking for an oxford for years, but I was always stymied because there are not a lot of stylish shoes for women with wide feet. Dansko usually (but not always) makes their shoes in the shape of feet (not rounded, not pointed), so that I can wear them even if they are not technically "wide." These are well made in addition to having some flair. I wish they were a tad wider at the toe, but I think the leather will give after some breaking in. Fortunately, Dansko does not make the mistake of making the heel too wide--a common flaw in shoe design, as heel slipping is the worst.

Love these! comfortable out of the box. I've already walked 2.5 miles in these brand new and there's no rubbing or comfort issues, the laces haven't even come untied (I double knotted them). They are really nice on with pants. I only wish Dansko made more styles with this same profile and heel. Not clunky comfort shoe looking, Not completely flat, fit more like my favorite boots with just a little bit of a heel.

I have been searching for over a year for a pair of shoes that I can stand in all day and not come home crying in pain. I have now stopped looking because I found the Dansko Louise. Not only are these shoes super comfortable, but they look professional for work too! I love, love these shoes!!

These ran a little long and wide on my foot. I own many dansko shoes, but these fit more loosely. I did reorder a size small and I am hopeful they will fit my narrow foot as the support, arch and leather were dreamy.

Love these! Very comfortable, high quality, attractive. Hubby said they look like Grandma shoes. Told him he knows nothing about fashion!

Very comfortable shoe right out of the box with no break in period required. I'm usually a 7 or 7.5 and the 37 fits perfectly. The shoe is soft with very a comfortable insole. It might not be the most stylish shoe, but it does look nice enough for work with slacks. The back of the shoe has a different material than the rest which is a little shiny and gives it a nice touch. I've gotten several compliments already. I purchased the greenish/grayish color and it's actually pretty versatile. I'm happy I bought them.

LOVE THESE SHOES. They feel heavenly on my feet. Comfortable right out of the box and I love the classic style. And of course, the usual great quality from Dansko.

Love these shoes! I thought they might be big based on my Dansko clogs, but size 40 fit my 9 1/4 medium width feet and narrow heels extremely well. Super comfortable. The wine color is mostly brown, so goes fine with my wardrobe.

Super comfy and fairly cute. I stand 12 hours a day with a ton of walking and NEED comfortable shoes. I didn’t want to go the ugly clog route and I know dansko makes super comfy clogs so I decided to give these a try. Wore them straight from the box from on a ten hour shift that didn’t have a ton of walking and my feet barely even hurt. They were tired but I could’ve easily kept standing for more hours. Woohoo! Great quality and they’re a little on the dorky side but I kinda dig it.

This is the first pair of Dansko shoes I have purchased, but absolutely love them. Because of narrow heels, a high instep, and fluid retention, finding a shoe that I can get on, and keep on because of the narrow heels, I am down to wearing oxfords. And good arch support is important. And this shoe has excellent arch support. I have other oxfords that I like, but the arch support in this shoe is much better than my other shoes, and the shoe is very, very comfortable. I will probably purchase more of this shoe.

Loved these shoes, just wished they came in size 43

This fits like my other Dansko shoes, which means it's also just as comfortable. All-day wear at the office was perfect on the first day. As with other Danskos the materials are well built to last. They're also super cute and go with most of my job outfits. If you like Danskos or are new to the brand - you will love these!

Love.this.shoe! It needed NO breaking in. I walked around airports and NYC right out of the box. And, it looks so stylish. Other oxfords just looked clinky to me. This looks sleek. I bought the mahogany color. It goes with everything. I do love every color, but I just don’t need five pairs of oxfords. It’s comfortable walking, going up and down stairs, driving. It’s a little uncomfortable just sitting around relaxing. I recommend it.

These are great shoes. They are trendy, seem to be well made and have great inside support. It is sad though because they run a little small and don't come in wide. They also said they can accommodate orthothics, but they can't fit my orthothics from the doctors which is sad.They also have a sparkly/metallic piece on the back which is nice.

These are so cute, but very narrow! if you have a wide foot, like I do, these won't be comfortable.

I really liked this shoes but they were a little tight across the top of the middle of the foot. I normally wear a medium or wide depending on the shoe. I wish this came in wide! I'm giving this a 5 for comfort because on a more narrow foot this would be very comfortable.

The delimma - how to find a stylish oxford style shoe that’s comfortable? These shoes are the answer! They were soooo comfortable right out of the box. I walked all over New York City in them. And, they look stylish and professional. I may not be wearing pumps or spiked heels anymore, but I think these shoes are a satisfying solution.

Love these shoes! Ordered another pair in black today. I'm a teacher and wore these all day with no problems.

Love them. I sometimes have to stand for up to 8 hours straight and my feet don't get tired. They look lovely with pants, leggings and skirts and dresses. It also is nice that they are called Louise, my best friends name ??

Super comfortable and wearable right out of the box. I wear orthopedic inserts but they won't fit in these shoes. Doesn't matter as they're well made and have good support.

I bought these to wear for work, and I wanted something I could also wear during my commute between public transportation and the office. They are very comfortable, and look great! People can hardly believe they're Danskos, they're so stylish!

Nice shoes. Wore with black suit and fit well. Nice heel height. Cushion in sole much much better than similar Born shoes got couple years ago. Plenty lace length. Wore first time for about 9 hours and were comfortable.
