Love this backpack! We did a family trip and this replaced my day to day purse. It was perfect, held what I needed but wasn't too large that I wished I didn't have it. Love it! The small pocket on the top and on the outside were perfect for small items that were commonly needed.

Awesome! Works perfect for me

As a grad school student, I needed a sturdy backpack that would fit my MacBook Air and notebooks. This backpack is perfect for commuting on the subway with all of my materials and it's also easy on the eyes with the rose gold accents on the black bag. The bag is also lightweight, so it doesn't put too much weight on your back and shoulders even with the things that you carry in it. This is my first North Face purchase and I am more than pleased with my product. I'll definitely be purchasing from North Face again soon.

I love this bag. I use it for work. I don't need to carry much. It's the perfect size. I get many compliments.

I love this backpack! It is lightweight, sleek, and functional. I can carry everything i need for a normal outing with my two toddlers and still have space leftover. The only down side of this bag is that it doesn't fit my 13" laptop in the pocket like the description says. But it does fit in the main compartment so I'm still thrilled to have found a great bag. Awesome buy!

I really love North face bookbags in general. This one has been great for me. I needed a smaller bag for my 1.5 hour commute in the mornings to work. I was starting to get a bad back from carrying a purse and did not want to bulk up with a normal size book bag. There are three pockets in this bag. A small one in the lower corner a medium one on top and the main one which is larger and has a tablet or small laptop sleeve in it. I bought the black and gold one with no regrets it is very stylish and elegant like me... ??. I can fit a lot in here but not too much which is exactly what I wanted.

I love this little bag. I used to have a generic drawstring backpack with no model and often, even with a laptop, lunch and other accessories, I still had a lot of room left. So I figured I could use a smaller one. I fell in love with the way it looks and it even fits my 15 inch laptop AND lunch container. Received lots of compliments. I'd definitely recommend it if you are looking for something easier and more comfortable than a purse, but still want something that's more stylish than sporty.

Purchased this bag to haul a couple of sandwiches, protein bars, and water for a day hike. It works perfectly. It is the perfect size and very comfortable. Just what I needed!

Beautiful replacement for purse. I can avoid the neck and shoulder pain. It holds everything including my lunch for work. Grandma Debbie- I am an active 62 year old.

Received this backpack today and it is as expected. Yes, it's a small backpack, but no surprise there since I noted the dimension before ordering. I specifically chose this pack because of its dimension. Didn't want a big daypack to overwhelm my petite size. I'm using this backpack in lieu of a handbag for an upcoming trip. It fits my small 9.5x5x5 inch camera case, a small folding umbrella, wallet, a Uniqlo ultra light down jacket, coin purse, cellphone and scarf. I originally ordered the Med Grey Heather, but the color didn't go well with my jacket so I exchanged it for the Black one. I accomplished this all within a few hours of receiving my package due to Zappos' great representative/s on Live Chat. You guys are so efficient and very helpful. It's really nice doing online business with Zappos.

Love this! I wanted a small backpack to take for little trips with my young kids -- nothing as big as a large diaper bag but something that can hold more than a purse. This is perfect. I can fit phone, wallet, 3 water bottles, a few snacks or small toys, plus a pull-up & changing pad. This is NOT for someone who wants to carry more than that. But it works really well for us.

It's the perfect day pack size or if you're a bicycle commuter. It holds my 14" laptop - but just barely, so be forewarned! Super cute, luxe features that aren't in the usual pack - the fleece lined top pocket, zip side pocket an the easy access kinda-hidden front stretchy pocket is handy. Would recommend, and the black/gold looks sick.

I was looking for a backpack because I was having surgery on my ankle and would be on crutches for 6 weeks. I didn't want anything too bulky or heavy. This bag is lightweight and helps me carry anything I need during the day. I looked at many other brands and no one carries this size in such an well designed backpack. My large iPhone 6s Plus with a case fits into the top zipper compartment.

I needed a smaller backpack for going to and from work and I love this backpack! I even have been using it for going other places besides work. It is the perfect size and fits a lot of items. Very cute design also.

I had the original Electra version and loved it! I love the size and fit of this one. The interior is better and I actually liked the exterior design more in person. This is one of the smallest backpacks I've seen and I love that! It's more of a purse bag. I hope North Face keeps making them this size.

I thought the pack was kind of small for schooo but i tried it out anyways. It fits all my things plus my laptop. I recommend.

This backpack is on the smaller side but it's perfect for a day trip or gym stuff. I wanted something to keep my boxing gloves and gear in and this is perfect for that. Could easily fit a change of clothes. Great quality and sleek design.

Yes it is small but it fits a feminine frame perfectly! I need to travel with my tablet and wallet, keys, water bottle, toddlers large stainless insulated cup, snacks, change of clothes and a distraction toy. There is STILL ROOM! The gold is what made me buy it- it is hard to find something rugged yet femanine. This design with the smaller sleek look as well as the gold is what sells this for me! It is compact and does not take a huge amount of space- My college bound child wants one and I use it as my mom bag- grab and go- oh and the lining is super soft! A cell pocket in front- and the tablet pocket is padded. LOVE IT!

This backpack is perfect for traveling. I used it as my personal bag for the airport. It fit everything I needed and the bag did not look bulky. I fit a small book, small blanket, charger, 2 sunglasses, phone charger, headphones, gum, small makeup bag, and wallet. I just wish it had more small hidden pockets (my favorite part - the bag only has two) and a water bottle holder.

overall this is perfect for someone looking to travel light. I bought it for a trip to mexico and it worked almost perfectly! I say almost because i wish it had one more compartant and was slightly larger, but because i've had to deal with oversized backpacks my whole life, this was near perfect for my ipad pro 12.9-with keyboard was really too big for the inside pocket --if i fought hard i could squeeze it in but it became a burden towards the end of the trip, so i used it for my 2 books, my passport fit nicely in the top pocket and outside pocket, as did my phone 7 inch iphone.

Good backpack but on the small side

I have a bad back so I bought this with the hopes of being lightweight and easy on my back and that was definitely achieved here- As with being lightweight it does seem a little less durable than some of the other north face backpacks, but it's perfect if you want something light while your on the go

Love the size and teal color! My only complaint is no pocket for water bottle. I use it for walks around town.
