Customer Reviews Mizuno Wave Enigma 6

As reported, this shoe has terrific cushioning. You don't even feel the road. And it's really quiet. It fits right out of the box if you go up half a size. The colors aren't the best, but for a running shoe this comfortable, who cares?

Finally! An end to my months' long search for a good running shoe. I used to wear Asics Gel-Nimbus, but the 19s feel like they've lost a lot of the cushioning that the Gel-Nimbus are known for. So I tried comparable shoes from Nike, Saucony, Brooks, and others; none of them worked. (Thank goodness for Zappos excellent return policy!) But I've worn the Mizuno Wave Enigmas a few times now and have not experienced any heel pain whatsoever. I usually wear a 7.5 in running shoes and the 7.5 in these are perfect for me. I'm going to buy an extra pair to have on hand for when the current ones are worn out.

Finally found a shoe that I like, had to size up a half size though. I am a true 7.5, and the 8 fits fine. Tiny bit narrow, but hopefully after breaking them in, I won't be able to tell. Love the colors! Support is okay, nice solid heel, if this came in a another color, I would buy it as well.

half a size too small so I'm returning them for an 8.5. SUPER comfy cushioning with nice forward rolling strike. Looking forward to the next 1/2 size up so that my toes are scrunched.

Wonderful shoe. I have bought 3 pairs of these over the years. The Wave Enigma design is far superior to any other types Mizuno makes. I hope they continue this design in the future.

I ordered these 1/2 size larger as reviews stated =these run small as they do-I wore them around my house and within 1 hour I knew the fit was not going to work for me- these made my feet look smaller but they were on the short& narrow side also so I had to return them-thanks Zappos-you work soooo hard to please our fussy feet & it is much appreciated by me!!!

I normally run in the Mizuno Wave Riders but I thought I would give the Enigma a try based on reviews I read praising its excellent cushioning. When I tried on this shoe I immediately felt the outstanding cushioning. Probably great for running. Unfortunately, the sizing is off with this particular style. In all of my running shoes I buy size 9.5 because my normal shoe size is a 9. But the 9.5 in this style was short and my toes hit the end. I am hesitant to size up because a size 10 will likely be too large. The 9.5 in the Wave Riders is perfect. I will probably just return and stick with the Wave Riders.
