Boots are very high quality and great looking. I have wanted a pair of Frye boots for a long time, and these were worth the wait. After only wearing them a few hours around my home and office, I find them very comfortable. They do not seem to need a long break-in period. The only thing that takes some getting used to is the high ankle. However, that is on me, not the boots. I have typically worn chukkas, which are at least 1.5 inches shorter than these boots.
A word of caution about sizing, which I did not heed originally--these run 1/2 size larger than all my other boots, dress shoes, and non-running sneakers. In every other shoe I own, I wear 12D. I bought that size in these boots, but they felt really big and my toes were drowning in the toe box. I exchanged the 12D for 11.5D, and the smaller size is perfect!

Call me crazy; I have the exact same pair in brown (whiskey) for over a year now. That is how much I enjoy them. Simple clean style. Comfortable. All quality in a casual boot.

I bought my first pair 2 months ago in black and got a second pair yesterday in brown because they are incredible boots. I've got several of the competitors brands and I Like these the best.

JUST received this boot yesterday as a birthday gift and they are AMAZING. The quality is through the roof. I HIGHLY recommend them. Best boot investment ever. The Horween leather is really nice as you can tell from the pic, it does not take long to break in. Great job FRYE.

I was lucky enough to buy these boots in Dark Brown at the lower end of the price range, so it adds a lot to price to value ratio.
The boots are great, probably, the best looking pair I have ever had. Despite being sturdy, they are light and very comfortable. It looks like the breakage process will not take too long.
I wear 12D (being on wider side of D) in most brands and bought these boots in similar size. It leaves a little of extra space in fore ends, but only enough to wiggle my toes without feeling uncomfortable. So the overall fit is secure, without heel slippage.

I wanted a great pair of boots that look great and would last a long time - I found 'em! My dark brown John Addison boots ( 1/2 size smaller) fit perfectly and look great. They started to soften up the first day and were broken in within a week.

I have been wearing Frye boots for the las 40 plus years, and yet I have never had a bad experience. I bought these boots a couple of weeks ago, they look great, very well quality made, and extremely comfortable. I highly recommend, and give them a five star rating without blinking an eye .

Comfortable boots and good looking too. Broke in a bit first and then spent a weekend walking around NYC in the cold and snow. The boots held up to the elements nicely, and were very comfortable walking around the city. Usually I wear a 10 or 10 1/2, bought the 10s and they fit. I prefer lined boots, but these are fine. The dark brown looks good.

I got these boots right before spending 2 days with my family at Universal Studios, lots of walking and it rained a lot on Sunday. They were very comfortable for the first time wearing them, my feet were totally dry too from all the rain. They look amazing and really well made.
Size 10s fit perfect, I normally wear size 10.5

These boots look and feel great but they are very heavy. I own several Frye boots and these are the heaviest. If it were not for the weight they would have gotten 5 stars.
