I have been wearing sperry's for years and I love the saltwater boot so I was excited to get this new color and style for the winter. I wore the boots one day and the entire inner lining/insole of the boot has come out. It slides while I'm walking and became completely detached. I've never had this issue previously with sperry so maybe it's just the new style but I'm very upset because I'm not even able to wear them.

Cute boot, except all of the "shell" on the lower half peeled away in two wears. My 2yr old wore them short periods twice and they looked terrible. Very sad for the price, expected more. She loves them so I haven't returned, but wanted to warn future buyers.

My daughter wore these one day at school and the top stitch on both sides of the zipper on both boots started to fray!!! The top stitch will be none existent in about a week.

My Sperry duck boots are rarely worn but noticed recently the rubber is peeling on the boots and is very unsightly. Would have expected more from this brand but I've discovered there are a lot of Speery customers complaining about this problem.

The brown fake leather started pilling after just 1 season.

I bought these duck boots in December last year and they are peeling. They look terrible.

Super cute, but like other reviewers noted, impossible to get on a toddler foot. The zipper doesn't do anything to help

Opened on Christmas morning and the whole rubber part of the boot is cracked and peeling. This is my FAVORITE style and color and I'm so sad to see it. I was hoping it was just a bad batch but I'm like the others, and have to exchange.

Within the first two times of wearing these the shiny clearcoat on them started peeling and looked so horrible I wouldn't let my daughter continue wearing them in public.

My daughter fell in love with these boots and received them as a gift for Christmas. She had immediately put them on and was so excited to wear them. She finally wore them for the first time yesterday for the first day back from school since it was raining. When I went to pick her up, I noticed some reddish/brown stains on the bottom of the white fabric where the tongue meets the rubber boot. I assumed she got them dirty on the playground. I brought them home, ran them under water to clean them (used no soap) and they mostly came clean. They were very wet though and I left them to dry overnight. This morning the stains are now all over the fabric on both boots and much, much worse than they were yesterday. She cannot wear these boots, so now we have an expensive gift that will need to be thrown in the trash and I'll need to spend the money myself to buy her some new boots for wet weather. Save yourself the money and the heartache of your children when they can't wear their brand new boots and don't buy these. I use to trust the quality of Sperry, but if this is what happens after one wear (the treads are barely even dirty yet), then I'm not sure I can continue to purchase this brand and will stick with cheaper boots that last longer

We've had previous Sperry duck boots that lace up that we love. My kids have normal width feet, but neither could get their foot into these shoes. I ordered a size larger than the size chart indicated but with the half zipper and nonfunctional laces the opening was too narrow to allow their feet to even go all the way in. What a disappointment.

My two daughters watched received these as a gift. Second time wearing and both pair are peeling terribly!

I was so excited for these boots and I even went up a size to accommodate for the small zipper. I finally received them and there is no way i could manage to get these on my toddler's foot. I'm so disappointed because they're really adorable. But I will have to return them.

Although these are super cute they run extremely small. I had to go two sizes bigger than my daughter's current size in most other brands and even then my daughter would not wear them because they were too uncomfortable. She actually hid them in our house so she couldn't possibly be asked to wear them again.

I purchased these shoes a month ago but today March 01, 2021 is my 3 year old daughter first time wearing them. They look like she has worn them everyday! The quality is absolutely horrible! The "shimmer" outer layer is peeling like an orange. They literally have peel marks all over them. They are so cute and I couldn't wait for her to wear them. For the price I am highly disappointed in Sperry! The sad part is...I had purchased 2 pairs....different colors.

Shoe as super adorable and durable, I just could not get my sons foot past the top part of the boot. Too hard for a two year old to get into.

Too small

I loved them except putting them on and taking them off was terrible. Where the rubber and the leather meet was way too small. Once I got them on they were very comfortable.

I was so excited about this boot. I am an adult, but I have really small feet, so it can be difficult for me to find shoes. When this product arrived in the mail, I immediately put them on and they felt great. A perfect fit. And they look cute, too! However, I've only been wearing them for about two weeks and the lining in one of the boots has already slipped out of place. It is now hard to put the boot on, because the lightning gets all crumpled up. Also, the lining slips so much that there is no Support in the very tip of the boot where my toes go. Because I walk to and from work, these boots are really important to me, and I'm very upset that, despite the cost and reputation of the brand, the boots are already useless.

The zipper doesn't go down far enough to even get these on my daughter's feet. Very poor design they should have some easy on/off for toddler feet.

Impossible to get on. My daughter is between a 5-6 and you just can't get the foot in. I understand they don't want laces, but these are awful. I definitely will not buy them again and unfortunately my daughter is barely wearing them because it's so difficult to squeeze in her feet.

I got the pink pearl ones for my 6yo daughter. She wears a size 1, so I thought I'd order a 2 for next school year, as summer is close to starting now. We couldn't even get them on her feet! And we both pulled, stuffed, and struggled with them- no luck. I think if the zipper went all the way to the sole, that might help. I don't feel like the hassle of returning them, so it's a bummer.

Was sent used/defective boots twice. Both boots were in terrible conditions. This was absolutely by far the worst experience I've ever had. Please be aware before you purchase!
