The Keen Rivingtons appear to be the last and least worthy of the great Keen casual Mary Janes. Earlier styles had generous support and cushion in the sole, keeping the feet comfortable after hours of walking and standing. Sadly, styles like the Presidio and the Toyah have gone by the wayside in favor of shoes of lesser quality. While the Rivingtons are cute, I experience more leg and foot pain than I did with earlier Mary Jane styles, specifically in the knees and the balls of the feet. Hopefully Keen will go back to making the better-constructed Mary Janes that can be worn with skirts.

I'm a massage therapist, and I wanted a comfortable Mary Jane-type slip-on shoe that would also give me good traction for the work I do. I have narrow feet and narrow heels, and normally heel slippage is a problem for me in all kinds of shoes. In spite of these shoes not coming in a narrow width, the heel fits me very well without slippage, and the toe box is roomy and comfortable. And even though I wear a size 10, these shoes don't look like clown shoes on my feet. There were some reviews that said the strap was uncomfortable and too tight across the top of their foot. I haven't found that to be the case. Maybe it's because my foot is narrow and there's a little more space for comfort with the foot strap. Who knows? Whatever the reason, these are incredible shoes for comfort all day long.

ARCH SUPPORT DOES NOT COME OUT Please note, if you are thinking about purchasing these shoes, I just ordered a pair, assuming that I could trade out the standard arch with my own insert. The arch is not removable. So, in addition to being a little too narrow for my wider feet, the arch support wouldn't work, and I sent them back. Super cute shoe, though.

I've been buying Keen shoes for years and have been disappointed recently with the narrower toe boxes. I'm returning these because they are narrow across the toes and hurt after about 10 minutes of wearing them.

I like the look of the shoe, I didn't think it has a much arch support as what others had stated.

I have been looking for something other than a sandal or sneaker, this Keen is a perfect in between. Comfortable, right out of the box. I almost always wear an 8m, and the 8 fit great. The toe box feels slightly wide, which is comfortable, not floppy. I did not have any rubbing of the cross strap like some of the other reviewers. They are quite comfortable and super cute. I bought the tan color, looks like a taupe, nice neutral color than looks great with everything. Zappos service, as always, first class! Thanks!

These are comfortable and look decent, but the footbed material has a weird feel to it and it makes my feet feel sweaty within minutes of putting them on. My previous Keens had leather footbeds, and those were much, much better.

I have a narrow heal and the shoes just slide off. Very little support, also.

When I first tried them on, I thought they were the most comfortable shoes ever. Unfortunately, once I walked around in them for a few hours, I realized I made a horrible mistake! The top seam of the shoe rubs against the top of my feet right at the base of my toes. It caused excruciating pain!

I chose this shoe for a culinary tour of Italy. We walked over 20,000 steps a day, and I traveled with only a backpack, so there wasn't room for a bunch of shoes. I wanted shoes that didn't look like athletic wear, but that took me everywhere an athletic shoe could. These were PERFECTION. I didn't get a single blister--I did put gel heel inserts to adjust the size on my small foot. The sole was thick enough that my feet didn't hurt walking on cobblestones all day. I am so happy with them I want all the colors now. I got the tan and they blended with everything.

With Keen I always wear a half size smaller, so to me they were true to size. I can wear medium weight socks with them. Worked them for 3 days in heavy rain!

A very cute shoe...just doesn't fit me as it seems to run small, a bit more narrow. I generally wear 10.5 and 11 in Keen. The 10.5 was much smaller than my other Keen shoes in that size. I would have ordered the next size up, but they are out of stock right now.

Really cute shoes! Unfortunately, the toe box is disproportionately large. The heel and middle of the shoe fit my narrow foot perfectly, but the toe box is enormous.

I'm returning these as they are a bit too small. I have the same exact pair, although were bought under the product name-Keen Rivington II Criss-Cross Canvas (although they are not canvas.) I'm always a true 8 but in these, I will return for 8.5

If you have a wide foot, these would work well. They were way too wide for my narrow feet. Also, my big toe touched the front of the shoe in my regular size.

Like others have reported, this shoe rubs the top of my big toe, right at the base and the footbed leaves a lot to be dusted in the cushioning department. But, the crimson color (more like pinky-fuchsia) is awesome. The leather is so soft and supple and overall the look is super-cute so that makes up for the negatives in my opinion. Unlike what others have written I think the shoe runs a little bit long. But I love them.

These are adorable and comfy. The arch support is very mild. It took a few days for my feet to break them in but now they fit perfectly.

Super cute and VERY comfortable. I needed something that I could walk in but would also be good for the office. Because they've got the nice wide Keen toe box, they don't squish my toes like fancy leather flats do. Only downside is that, because they're waterproof, my feet get hot and sweaty on warm days.

The top of the shoe would rub on the big toe, I had to wear a padded bandaid, until they broke in. Now they are fine, I have a normal, slightly narrow foot, and I like the fit of this shoe.

Love this shoe, very comfortable and sometimes you need something other than black. I already have the shoe in black. The tan is very cute. Looks good with no socks in the warmer weather.

I wanted to try, but these aren't near as good as the Jambu Mason. Top edge seam hurts my bunions. Fit is wonderful for my short toes. The heel fits like a dream.
