I probably own 3 or 4 pairs of Austins that have not completely worn out. I buy a new shoe about once a year. I decided to try something different this time and ran across the Boston 3. I had a similarly styled shoe from American Eagle I bought some years ago. I think this mid-seam look is interesting, appealing. These shoes are lightweight. So much so they almost feel fragile. I've been wearing them for three weeks and they're holding up just fine. Changing models of Keens is always an adventure. I find sizing of the different models vary quite a bit. I've come to the conclusion that, with Austins being the benchmark, other styles run a bit small. These are no exception. I am a solid 10 in the Austin. I would like to try the 10.5 in these for my toes just touch the end of the shoe. I believe some break in may solve the issue. Other models I've tried are certainly a 10.5 for me. Which is why I stick to the Austin. If they break in well and turn out to be durable, I would purchase the Boston 3 again. I like the shorter laces and the seam will keep that pucker or dimple from forming in the toe some Austins seem to develop over time. Keens are uniquely styled shoes I've grown to like. For those with little need for arch support, I find these shoes worthy of being stood in all day.

I have used the previous model of this shoe for years before it was worn out. I assumed the new version would be as good. Turned out not to be true. The second time I wore it, the soles on each shoe became unglued from the shoe. I returned the shoe. I got another of the same style. It took a few more wearings, but it did the same thing. I was on vacation when the soles came loose, so I used "Shoe Goo" to reglue the sole to the shoe. If it weren't for the soles coming loose I would give 5 stars but I only can do 2, because I had to repair the shoes.

Great support, cool style, and I wear them daily in the winter...when I can wear thicker socks. Keen has got to do better with their sizing. These run almost a half size bigger than any other show I've worn.

I gone through several pairs of these over the years. Always comfy right out of the box. Durability is ok but I do construction work so I tend to get about 1 year out of the Boston’s.

This is my 4th pair of Boston's over the years. I love this shoe for its wide in the toe-box. I usually order a 2 or 4 E shoe width but the Keens even though they say D easily fit. The leather takes a good water proofing application which I need where I live in the NW. As you wear them they soften and feel glove-like. I wouldn't hesitate in buying another pair they are that great.

This makes the fourth pair of these that I've had. I've worn the others out completely. I think these may be my all time favorites. Enough said!

These are the second pair of these shoes I have owned. The last pair I had over a decade ago, and this new pair is again some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I had foot surgery on my big toe 3 months ago, and these are the only shoes that not only look good, but have a wide toe box that makes them so comfortable, your feet will never feel fatigued. I have owned other pairs of keens as well and they have always been the best shoes ever.

I like these Keen Bostons. I was looking for a good, sturdy, walking shoe and these fill the bill. Like other Keens that I've had they seem well made and capable of many miles. The only problem I have is they seem a bit short, i.e. I usually wear a size 10 but in these, like other Keems I've bought I had to go with the 10.5. Zappos customer service folks like Eddy were very helpful with the return. I am very pleased.

This is the third version of the shoe I use to walk my dog in the woods and park. They are roomy for my feet. I usually wear a EE size shoe and these fit me comfortably. I slather some water proof compound on them and have never had them leak. I do feel this version without the earlier leather lining is inferior but they are still a worthwhile purchase.

I wear a true size 14 medium. With size 14 my toes just run into the front. Size 15 fits, which is unusual. Both sizes run a bit wide. I had to wait three months for the size 15 to come back into stock, so if you think that's your size grab it!

This is the second pair of Keens i've owned (previously I had the Portsmouth II) Keens are great for their large toe box, these ones are no exception. They are a bit taller and the opening is a bit harder to get my foot in, but once on they are very comfortable and have lots of room inside. I got these because the ridge up the middle is distinctive. It does get folded a little bit under the laces, but overall it looks good - a unique feature.

I have been a fan of Keen shoes for many years. Keen shoes are the only shoes I have worn in the last 15 years. But, I am not happy with my latest pair of Bostons. They are small, a whole size too small. Also, the sole material is too hard and is very slippery on surfaces that are even slightly wet. I have had 3 pair of Bostons before, but I am very disappointed with my latest pair. The good news is, I have the 3 pair of other Keen shoes and boots to tide me over.
