Great shoe from Merrell, as always! Super cushy & comfy, great 80's throwback style. FYI, the orange trim on the purple version is a very bright, florescent orange. My monitor made it look more "regular" orange; it was a bit much for me IRL. Exchanged them for the blue & grey color, which are still super cute. The toe box is a little short; I tried and 8.5 and 9.0 and needed the 9. These are definitely more of a casual hiker/sneaker. I would not wear them for back-country trekking/backpacking, as the Eagle's materials are very soft, so they do not provide the foot stability and ankle support necessary for serious trekking. However, they are fantastic for easy trail hiking and every day walking. Have walked several miles at once in these and my feet were really comfy the whole time. My only criticism is that they have almost no arch support; however, my custom insoles fit easily in these boots.

Great hiking boot! Comfortable on their first time out this weekend. Really appreciated the ankle support provided by the high top too. Plus they're super cute!

This boot is fantastic! I've had a ton of compliments! I'm a true 7.5 and the 7.5 fits like a glove.

Great comfortable boot right out of the box! Plan to use for day hikes with my family, and maybe for longer treks if the support seems adequate. High aesthetic appeal; boot appears exactly as pictured. Reminds me of a pair of Merrells I had when I was younger that I really loved. Very happy with the purchase.

These boots are comfortable. I've been wearing them to "break them in" although they don't really need much breaking in. I love the color of purple and orange too. They are not heavy so are good for walking the dog on our country roads. Good support.

I've been looking for a solid 80s style hiking boot for months and love these Merrell pair! Super cute and extremely well made and sturdy. There's a suede outside so I've sprayed them with water resistant suede spray for extra protection, but can't wait to get them out hiking! Great quality, highly recommend

Obviously great style, that goes without saying. I found that they are stiff and need a lot of breaking in. But once they are broken in, they are very sturdy and comfortable! They definitely hold up to wear and tear!

Loved the colors in the picture but not so much in person. Good brand, reliable fit, but wasn't the aesthetic I was looking for. These reminded me of hiking boots.
