Sadly this beautiful bag is just NOT functional. The top "U" opening is too tight and doesn't open wide enough to see into the bag to get what you need. The phone interior pockets are also not big enough when you have an Otter box on your phone. I'm so sad becasue the bag is gorgeous -- fabulous leather, colors and lovely, interesting touches. It has a nice lng starp too which many of the Hobo shoulder bags do not. But a bag must be both beautiful and functional.

I love this bag! I have to say that I am very picky and it seems like I am always on the quest for the 'perfect' purse/bag. This bag may just be 'The One'! It looks beautiful and is the perfect size - Holds all of my stuff which is a brush, small hairspray, billfold, lipsticks, checkbook, nail kit and small organizer insert. It has just the right number of pockets and the smaller, outside pocket is large enough to mostly hold my iPhone 6 with an Incipio case. Just 1/2" of the phone/case shows, which I think just makes it easier to pull out as needed. This is a really cute purse that I just love. Even my 14 yr. old daughter thought it was nice.

I bought the teal. I love the color and I love the style. I get tons of compliments on this purse. The problem I have with it is it's a bit tough to find items in the purse with it on my shoulder. The front zip pocket is a bit awkward since it's vertical. I would have used it for my keys but I'm too worried that I'd drop the keys instead of getting them in the pocket if I put them in while I'm walking. There are lots of pockets inside but they don't hold much, so in the end I end up dumping everything in the main pocket and they all jumble together, and because of the way the top opening is it's really tough to rummage in there to find anything if you're trying to do so while walking. I usually have to stop and put the purse down so I can actually look inside to find anything.

This is my FAVORITE handbag EVER. I first bought the Cafe color and had it for over a year. The older it gets the better it looks (VINTAGE AWESOME). The two outside pockets make carrying keys and even my large iPhone most convenient. I love HOBO International. So many compliments all the time. The cost was more than I prefer to pay, but WHAT a Treasure!

I just bought this bag a few days ago, I couldn’t decide between Cobblestone, which is a nice mixture of taupe/gray color and Woodlands, which is a Cognac, but went with Cobblestone. I LOVE this bag! It is so soft and comfortable to carry. It holds anything you need it to. It appears to be well made and I’ve read various reviews that HOBO products are known to last. I’m really excited about this bag and can’t wait to see what future HOBO products I end up with!

This item arrived wadded up in a box - not the expected experience for a HOBO bag! It was in a box half as large as the bag, so there were dents in the leather. Also, no bag was included.

I bought this bag in black and granite. I love the size, the leather, the look, and functionality! The leather is very soft and the bag is simple yet elegant. I love love love them! Just the perfect bags for me.

I just received my Marley bag in Bottle Green and it is beautiful! I never thought the color green could be so neutral. It looks exactly like the online photos. It is very lightweight with soft leather yet holds its shape when you place it down. It is large enough to fit everything I need in my everyday bag with room to spare. I was torn between getting this or the Harken, but decided on this because of the flat adjustable strap and the larger bag opening at the top and I believe it was the right decision since I can easily see contents inside and the strap stays put on my shoulder with no sliding. This is my first Hobo bag (and not my last) and I think this will be a favorite of mine for a very long time.

I wish i had paid attention to the other reviews here before I bought this bag. Especially the one about how small and non functioning the opening is. Not only is the opening almost impossible to use while the bag is on your shoulder, it is almost equally impossible to use when the bag is on a table or your lap. It’s narrow, the big shoulder strap looms over it, but the worst part is that inside this bag there are pockets built into the liner on both sides of the bags interior. These are handy for easy access (in theory) for gum, car keys, chapstick, you know the drill. Unfortunately, however, whether you use these handy pockets, or not, they stick out into that gaping maw of an opening and then you can add another and far worse obstacle to putting your wallet away at a checkout stand. Only one of these pockets has a zipper, which when used, at least makes the pocket lay flush with the interior, but even when zipped shut, there is another pocket that runs adjacent to the zippered one and sticks out even though i keep nothing in it. There is a nice front zip pocket on the outside of the bag that is functional and a small open pocket on the back of the bag (or front depending how you carry it) that is perfect for a cell phone and easily reached. I ordered this in “tobacco” first, thinking it had a suede look-but it didnt, it had little weird bumps all over that made it look like the purse had goosebumps and i sent it right back. I exchanged it for one in “parchment” and hurriedly changed out my bag upon its arrival and left for a 3 day road trip. Had i not left immediately, ,i would have sent this back also. It’s a shiny, cheap looking, band aid colored non functional mess. I have a hobo wallet that is also shinier than appeared online and i feel kind of silly as a 43 year old woman with a wallet a young girl dressed like a princess would love to have. This is it for me with HOBO. Their color schemes are off to me, the linings in their bags and wallets, besides being unattractive, consist of harsh, scratchy material, and they aren’t a good deal price wise. They do use nice hardware, zippers, buckles, etc...skip this bag and keep looking. I wish i had.

Marley is my favorite Hobo purse and the brass color is gorgeous!

Hobo makes wonderful bags. The Marley is my favorite. Leather is high quality, lightweight, and the organization of the interior is genius. The 2 outside small pockets are stylish and practical. I own the bag in coral & wanted to have a backup when it wears out. The color i ordered, however, did not work for me. I hooe the style is available when i need a black bag.

Beautiful purse! Well made but much too large for my 5’ 1” frame. Returned for a smaller Hobo purse.

This purse is beautiful and well made. Unfortunately it was too big for what I wanted/needed.

I thought long & hard about keeping this bag-I really investigated prior to buying.It is totally user friendly & well-designed.The only deterrent AT ALL is that the black is not quite as deep as I would like.When I saw this at a retailer the black looked faded &/or slightly distressed.The bag I received from Zappos was much better.

Such beautiful leather and design, but the gray color has a definite purple cast. Overall effect is too lavender for me.

This is a beautiful purse. I love just looking at it! Unfortunately it is not going to work for me. I need more organization & easy access. This purse has neither. As a review mentioned, in order to find anything inside & retrieve it I would have to put the purse on a surface to dig into it. Not my style. But, oh, it's so pretty. Too bad.

The sad part is this purse feels so cheap. The style is nice but even the strap feels like pleather. It didn’t even come with a dust bag. My hunt for the perfect purse must continue. Unfortunately I love the feel of soft supple leather and this just feels cheap. Very disappointed in Hobo.
