Very comfortable for a flat. I don't know about the rest of you, but anytime I wear a flat shoe, even though it is my size, my heal always flaps about. Other than that this flat is very comfortable. It has a very soft foot bed. The material is flexible around the toe area so my toes don't feel like it's scratching against the material. I am very sensitive to anything irritating my feet and creating blisters. This shoe is pretty soft overall so I haven't gotten any blisters so far. A trick I found if anyone else has the same problem of the heal flapping out is to put a little doublesided tape on the heal. Not too sticky. Just enough to keep my heal from falling out of the shoe when I walk.

So this review is for ladies like me who haunt the 4E shoe search on Zappos. I usually have the list memorized so something new is a big deal. This shoe is not a true 4E like Propet, Drew, or New Balance. That said, this is the widest ballet flat / remotely feminine shoe I've been able to find. And I special ordered a 5E pump for my sister's wedding (disaster, would not recommend). The limiting point for me was the edge of the shoe as it went over my big toe's second joint. That hurt by the end of the night. But I didn't have blisters from my toes rubbing together and my little toes weren't squished. I think that could rule this shoe out for someone who wears a 3 or 4E with gout or bunions (I just have arthritis). I gave it a shot because Zappos is so good on shipping/returns and I was not disappointed. It's not going to be an everyday shoe for me but I like that I have it for special events.

I got this in 9.5 N in navy suede and black leather. The navy fit pretty well, but was a bit loose. The black leather was definitely too long. I then ordered them both in size 9N, but because the shoe slopes down at the toe, it was too tight on my toes. The black leather was looser than the navy suede for some reason. Perhaps the fabric is thicker in the suede. In the end, I kept the navy in 9.5N and returned all the others. Disappointed, because these are very cute shoes.

cute shoe. looks like it would be comfortable BUT the heel area of this brand is always too wide for me. Even with narrow width, my heel slipped around, but I don't wear N normally because I have bunions (ugh).

I need a shoe with decent cushioning and these feel good. It's nice to be able to find a shoe under a size 6!

Unfortunately, the heel was too wide. No fault of the shoe, I just have narrow heels & a wide foot. Heel snugs did not remedy this.

I get a lot of compliments on these shoes when I wear them. The only dislike is where the top of the shoe hits the top of my foot. Some days it can rub there and make them uncomfortable.

My feet are *very* wide and hard to fit. These shoes fit comfortably right out of the box. I just ordered a second pair. I appreciate other reviews mentioning these shoes run large. I wear a 7.5 or 8 depending on the shoe. I ordered a 7.5 in this shoe and it's plenty big. As others mention it's a bit loose in the heel, but not so much so that my foot comes out. Obviously, I'm very happy with this shoe.

These look like very comfortable shoes however, I need a bigger size so will return these and order larger. Zappos is so easy, love it.

Extremely comfortable. Good arch support. Size 5 is true to size. Very slight heel. Style works well for the office.The gold detail on the bows dresses it up.

I love the shoe but it is the first time a size 9 is too big.

I am a TRUE 9 Wide. in every shoe..this one was a half inch too big. I LOVE THEM but they fit strange... Order a half size down TRUST ME !! I re ordered. I am hoping its a better fit. On my right foot it cut across the foot bone where some people have bunions it rubbed weird quickly.. I am hoping a smaller size will work.. Of course need them for a vacation coming up..UGH>>

Have many pairs of Clark's shoes including Candra in navy suede in Size 8M and they fit perfectly. This show (Candra Black leather) does not fit like others...it is too small. This is unfortunate as I love this particular style.

Nice looking and comfortable. Toe is a bit more snug then expected but hoping that will relax with some time. Would recommend Clarks products over and over to anyone.

Oh my goodness!! My Clarks just arrived and slipping my feet into them and taking a spin around the room--they are exquisite! Nicely supported in the arch, footbed is super-comfy sueded material, heel has a lovely bumper pad so that heel doesn't slip out. Style is fashionable (Breakfast at Tiffany's Chic), square-toe ballet with elegant bow enhancement--no dowdyness here! Plenty of room in the toe box (what a pleasure to have comfy toes without the painful pinch of pointy-toe shoes). Shoe has that wonderful leather smell and exceptional feel of quality construction. Clarks are well worth the extra dollars. These are my 2nd pair of Clarks and I will continue to buy them.

Very cute little flats, but like the other shoes I ordered they were a 1/2 size too large. So strange to have 3 prs all be 1/2 size too large. Did my feet shrink - never heard of that happening! Pity, very cute.

I have flat feet and a fused big toe on my right foot and have a very hard time finding shoes that are comfortable and don't look like old lady shoes. These are cute and comfortable. I would recommend them. I've been wearing them with skinny jeans and they look great.

THESE ARE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT FITTING BALLERINA SHOE. I LOVE THE RED COLOR. I ALWAYS GET A 9 1/2 MEDIUM FOR A FLAT TYPE OF SHOE AND THIS FIT IS PERFECT FOR ME. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND UNLESS YOU HAVE UNUSUAL FOOT PROBLEMS. PRICE FOR THESE SHOES WERE A GOOD VALUE.

I like the shoe but it seemed a little big especially wider in the heel. I have a narrow foot.

I like these flats with capris, it looks so cute, even for middle aged me! These are comfortable, and I enjoy wearing them. I did not give five stars because I actually like a little wedge heel, but these shoes are truly flat.

I get a lot of compliments on these. The only challenge I have is they are too narrow in the toebox during long days on my feet.

Beautiful, soft shoe, just runs long. I have a very wide foot and 9EW was too long for me.
