I just got my boots and have been wearing them around the house to get the feel of them. So far - they're great - we're in the heat of summer so won't actually wear them outside until fall. I picked them out for the style and really like how they feel so far. I'm picky and some shoes/boots never make it out the bedroom door... These were on for a few hours and it went great... Loving that they're waterproof and have the bit of "fur" lining for warmth. We live along a river and plan to wear them hiking and just running around the yard. But also want them to run to town in cooler/colder weather instead of a heavy boot.

These boots are fantastic. They are super cute, I ordered the black, and extremely comfortable. I bought them specifically for a recent trip to Iceland and they kept my feet warm and dry. The grip is not as great on icy surfaces but as far as snow, rain and rocky terrain they are great. I am considering purchasing the other color.

I LOVE this boot. I have very picky feet and I have been wearing the Montara Hiking boot for several years and my feet LOVE IT, only shoes I wear in spring, summer and fall, however it is not warm enough for winter. I sadly started the search for a winter boot that my feet would be happy with and was SO happy to see the winter Montara boot, hoping that the boot had the same fit as my hiking boots. The fit is the same as my hiking boot, although I did go up a 1/2 size to allow for a thicker sock. These fit like a glove, the technology in these boots provides awesome support and stability. My feet stay a lot warmer now and I have both Montara boots to be waterproof as described even walking through slush, rain, soggy soil. In the past I had an issue on one foot with achilles heel and wearing the hiking boot helped resolve it and I have had no heel issue since wearing the winter boot. I have a wide foot and these fit perfectly with the B width. With either Montara boot I have had Happy Feet no matter how far I walk !

Bought these for my girlfriend and she loves them! She liked that they are stylish and waterproof. Great for work in the winter time. She said they were a little tight at first but after wearing them a few times they broke right in. I would recommend these!!!

I love this boot! I am very impressed with the AHNU Brand. This is my third pair. They are lightweight, fit true to size (I am an 8 1/2, semi-wide foot) and pretty stylish, for a hiking boot. I have worn these in rain & sleet & snow, and my feet stayed nice and toasty. If the snow gets deep, I throw a pair of "gaiters" over them. I live out west, in the high country, so I am constantly on dirt trails. The original price ( $189.00) was a bit too high for me. So, I waited to see if they would go down. When they hit 132.00, I pounced! I wore them the first few weeks in rain & snow without treatment and did fine. Then I decided to add KIWI silicone spray on top, to prevent snow-fade. I think these boots are well made, in the USA no less, very comfy, they seem durable, but only time will tell.... I have already recommended these to a friend, who is also in love with them.

I had to try a few sizes. I'm a 10 but wanted to have room to wear smartwool socks and so ended up with an 11. the 10.5 didn't quite cut it. But the 11 is a little long but I can wear with the smartwool so that's good! Overall they are great and I got because my good friend uses as her workboots and LOVES them. Excited to have this season! They are lighter than you would think which makes wearing them not as much work as heavy snow boots. Love the fur trim. Would like more color options.

A little too narrow. Warm winter boot. Style is okay, a bit bulky at ankle.

I pretty much live in my Ahnu Montara's, they're my favorite boot ever. When I moved to the mountains, they weren't warm enough so I got the Luxe version, which is insulated. Unfortunately, the inside is a little too tight for thicker socks - it actually feels smaller than the normal Montaras - and the toe area is NOT insulated. They're ok for cold-ish weather, but not hiking in really cold weather.

This boot is true to size and fairly comfortable, for this style shoe. That said, I find it to be stiff despite wearing it around the house and to do errands for a couple of days. Not sure how my feet will fair if I wear these boots for a long hike. Overall, I'm neutral as to whether I'd recommend them. If the price is a stretch, probably would not recommend.
