I needed a run-around boot for Chicago. I tried on 20+ pair of boots. When I tried on this one, it took some time for the style to grow on me, but the comfort was amazing right away. I have sore back/hips/knees from wearing flats. Since wearing these daily (almost 2 weeks), my pain is gone. PLUS, I have received more compliments on these boots from strangers and friends than on any other pair of shoes or boots. I love these! I'll still wear snow boots for being in heavy snow, but for running around, these are my go-to!

I am 55 yrs old, size 8 foot, These boots are fabulous in every way & true to size & durable! I bought them for several upcoming tailgating events. So far I have worn them 2 times, each time I walked several miles and spent all day and night in them. They were a dream, very comfortable and fashionable at the same time. I even scraped the toe of my boot a couple times and the dark pebble wore fine! I love the height I get from these boots and the rubber sole with slight platform makes them easy to walk about. My fashionable daughters were very impressed when they saw me in them. I do not agree with the other review that said they are narrow at the foot. Pricey but worth it, because I will have for years. ~Love these boots

I have had my Joan of the Arctic mid-calf wedges for 4 years now, worn as my primary boot in the fall through winter in Colorado weather. I love them because I can stand in them all day, romp through the rain and snow, and they still hold their form. Yet, they were beginning to look like hick boots, and I needed some new "winter" boots that would be more presentable at work meetings and public events, so I tried out the Addington. They obviously don't have the heavy-duty traction that the Joan's wedge boasts, but the toe sole has partial traction, and they still work alright in the snow— I just don't feel AS confident. I wore these around the house for 2 days before committing to keeping them because I felt like the heel was a bit too extreme... it looked super exaggerated when I looked at them to the side in the mirror. Aesthetics matter to me! But, I realized that it really only bugged me when I pulled the laces snug. After careful deliberation I've come to decide that the laces are less for function and more for style, so I leave the boot shafts a little loose, kind of like a pull-on booty. These babies are NOT as comfortable as my Joan of the Arctic for some unknown reason, but I can still wear them all day in most circumstances. My Joans I have actually worn on short hikes and long city walks (on trips where I've failed to bring tennies)... but I wouldn't try any of that with the Addingtons.

Very Comfortable! Purchased there for a trip Northeast, and they are good for rain, snow, cold and they look stylish. I thought they were very comfortable and my back didn't hurt the next day as it usually does when I wear a heel all day. I bought my normal size, and it was perfect. I was afraid of it being too tight based on other reviews, but I had no problem.

LOVE these Sorel boots! They are comfortable, stylish, even sexy! And they garner lots of compliments. The rubber sole is awesome, the platform height is perfect, and the grayish color is gorgeous.

I love this boot. I can wear them all day! I have trouble in the winter, finding boots and shoes that are comfortable and stylish. And these are terrific. cute with jeans, dressier pants, and skirts. Yes, they are pricey - but I think I will be wearing these for a few seasons, so it is worth it

Beautiful boot, I think this runs a bit big, I usually wear 9.5M with anything with a heel, 9 in flats. This was very big. I should have checked my previous Sorel sizing, I usually order a 9. Will reorder in a 9.

I adore these boots. They are the best footgear I've bought this year and I'm one of those people who love shoes. I typically wear a size 7 shoe but I went up a half size for a little extra room so I can wear thick socks with these. They are edgy and cool. Look great with jeans and tights/skirts. The arch support is great and the heel height is perfect. I might get some red laces to wear with these (I bought the gray ones). My foot is sort of narrowish with long toes, this boot is great for a 'low volume' foot like mine. Not sure how they would work for a wide foot, but all I know is they are so comfy for my feet that do a lot of walking around in the winter rain of Western Oregon.

These boots are fantastic! I wore them right out of the box to work all day long, with no issue. And it was a busy day with 7 meetings so I was coming and going all day! They are so great... I bought them in grey too!

I love these boots. I walk to and from work, and these boots are very comfortable. I usually stay away from heels but these boots are great. I am going to order the boots in black also. I almost sent the boots back because they felt tight on my foot, but it was user error, I forgot to take out the cardboard insert, LOL!!! So be sure to remove the inserts.

Comfort, stylish... I have plantar fasciitis and arthritis...I feel no pain??

So comfortable, I have two pairs of this Sorel style. This one is my favorite because you can tie them. I wear a 10 and have narrow foot. The fit was true to size. They have an almost spongy feeling which is great for extended wear. I have dressed them up and worn them casually. Worth every penny ... very well made. Heal and tread are perfect for winter conditions.

Extremely comfortable! I can wear these all day long and not have sore feet.

I tried literally almost every Sorel black bootie this season and these were by far the cutest and easiest to get on and off!

Love these Sorel's. They fit true size and width for me in size 6. Arch support is never a problem for me, so don't pay much attention to that. These look great on with anything, and are actually feminine. Love the the toe cap and the heel. I didn't need any break in period, they felt fine from the box to my feet.

These boots are beautiful and comfortable. I got them in black and just love them.

I ordered this boot in fog ,size 8, it fits beautifully and I love the color. I just got them so I can't comment on durability but so far they feel great on, and totally met my expectations.

Gorgeous boot, but a bit heavy looking and not as comfortable as I had hoped.

This looks like a very cool boot and sturdy. But it runs a little big. Ordered my normal size 7 (altho I'm a small 7); going to see if 6.5 would be better.

Not sure how to feel about these. Comfortable, but the tongue is a little too loose. They look a bit too much like construction boot for my taste. Might return.

These were disappointing, they were very narrow (my feet are not wide) and the part where it laces up is not a secure fit no matter how tight you can lace it up. Cute other than the narrowness and poor design at the top of the boot. These are sadly going back. I was disappointed.
