I would have kept them, except the top edge of the back of the shoe curved back into my foot and was immediately uncomfortable.

Super duper comfortable, bought them in navy first and came back for seconds in black. Pros: arch support, comfortable, durable. Cons: More than likely, you will get a heel blister when you first wear them. Also, the ONLY reason for giving them 4 stars is that Vionic sizing can differ drastically between different styles. I'm a 8.5 in these and another 2 pairs of theirs, and have never worn an 8.5 in my life. I'm a 7 in one of their flip flops and and 8 in another pair. It's bizarre.

I have wide feet but usually, Vionic fits well. These felt more narrow, shorter, and definitely very tight around the straps. The skin on my foot bubbled up between the straps. Unattractive and uncomfortable! If Footsmart had better return policies, I would have tried a size up.

Very Comfortable -- but is really "short" for size. I even sized up to a 7 (I always wear a 6.5) -- and it still felt too short.

Super duper comfortable, but I will have to issue a back heel blister alert with these. The ONLY reason for giving them 4 stars.
Note: Love Vionics, however, their sizing can differ drastically between different styles. I'm a 8.5 in these and another 2 pairs of theirs, and have never worn an 8.5 in my life!

This shoe makes me sad. I have super high arches and my feet tend to tilt in when I walk. I absolutely love the orthotic in this shoe. Great support, and holds my foot up in the proper position for walking. Also, super comfortable insole, and the sole of the shoe is rigid and supportive. Love it. However, there's a little bump of something on the back of the shoe that was tearing up the back of my ankle, just above the heel. And the shoe is narrow. My pinky toes sang with glee when I took the shoe off. Also, my feet started to swell through the top strap, and that's just from trying them on and wearing them around the house for a little while. This shoe would probably be wonderful for someone with a more narrow foot who needs excellent support. I've never thought of my feet as being particularly wide, but this shoe is telling me otherwise. I'm wishing it came it came in wide, but there is only one available width. Sadly, they're going back

Very cute shoe. I wear a wide width in Vionic but I have several pairs of their mary-janes in a medium width which work well. These did not work well and I even went up another 1/2 size. They were very narrow on me and have to go back.

I ordered half a size up as others suggested and that was definitely the right choice. The shoes fit and the sole was very comfortable -- soft, but with real arch support. The lining was also smooth and comfy. However, the heel was incredibly stiff. They felt like they were cutting into my achilles from the moment I put them on. Sadly, they are going back.

These seemed like they would be super comfy, but my toe was touching the end of the shoe, so I had to return them. I am on the fence about whether or not they look like "granny shoes," so am hesitating to try a half size up! Also, I have narrow feet, and though the width just barely worked in this size, I am afraid if I size up they will be too wide...

I'm a true 8 1/2 so I ordered both an 8 1/2 and a 9 based upon reviews. The 9 was too big, but the 8 1/2 was too small. Plus the rougher fabric on one of the heels was rubbing up against my heel and would have caused a blister. Very disappointing since the shoe seemed like it would have been very comfortable.

Such a cute shoe! I usually wear a 7.5 to 8 Med or Wide width depending on the shoe and company. I always have a problem with my narrow heels and wide forefoot. The 7.5 was way too tight across my forefoot and the 8 was only a little better. In both, my heel slipped too much. I had to return them.

The right foot of these shoes have a sharp edge that poked my heel so bad it bled within an hour of wearing them. Foot bed is very comfortable. Order 1/2 size up. I wear vionic a lot and have never had.a shoe run small or hurt like this one did. Too bad I lost $97 on these

Returning because there is an odd pocking seam in the middle of the back of the heel of the shoe causing discomfort.

I have a lot of Vionic shoes. In a previous season I bought the Ailie for a casual "ballet sneaker". But, it's arch support was not as good as my Tide flipflops. However, it was better than nothing. I was only able to wear the Ailie with long jeans/pants where the thick velcro closure strap couldn't be seen because it made the shoe look "orthotic" and matronly. I kept that shoe because I liked that it didn't make my foot (size 9 1/2) look large. So, when the Agile Opal came out I had high hopes. I liked the asymmetrical elastic strips instead of a thick velcro strap for securing the shoe on the foot and the shoe looked more trendy in the pictures. So, I ordered the shoe in both black and navy. I almost immediately returned the navy because I did not like the white sole against the navy fabric. It made the shoe look too casual for my needs. I kept the black and it sat on my bedroom floor next to my dresser for 6 months. I really wanted to like the shoe. I did like that the black shoe had a black sole. But, something about the shoe still looked orthotic/matronly. I think part of it was the the black rubbery trim around the toe. Also, I think the curved opening of the vamp is not curved enough and comes back too far over the top of the foot. Looks aside, the Agile Opal had much better arch support than the Ailie. I think this is in part due to the structure of the shoe. The Agile Opal is constructed of much thicker, heavy duty fabric that doesn't have as much "give". I think that was part of the problem with the Ailie. It's fabric was so flexible that even with the arch support inside, the structure of the shoe provided no support to the foot. However, I liked the lightweight fill of the Ailie much better than the Agile Opal. The Agile Opal was released to be a spring/summer shoe and yet it felt much heavier and I believe the thickness of the fabric would have made my feet hot. I consistently wear a size 9 1/2 in all shoes (Vionic included except the Tide flip flops only come in whole sizes and there I wear a size 9). My foot is also on the narrower side. I used to wear a narrow but because of bunions and the lack of availability of narrow in most brands, I typically wear a regular width shoe. My heal is where I typically have a problem with shoes being too loose. This shoe was definitely not too loose. I like how the shoe felt on my ankle. However, I felt this shoe ran a tad short. I think if I had walked a lot in this shoe it would have rubbed my big toe. So, if you have a foot that is a truly regular width you may want to size up 1/2 size in this shoe to accommodate width and length. I felt like going up 1/2 size for my length would cause the heel to be too large for my narrower foot. So, after trying this shoe on 100's of times with various outfits over the past 6 months, it never made the cut for me. I always seemed to find another shoe in my closet that I preferred to it. So, thanks Zappos for allowing me time to wrestle with my decision about this purchase and ultimately return it.

Love the shoes, but, for some strange reason, the left insole was very uncomfortable. I replaced it with an Orthaheel full-length insert, and it was fine.

Runs extremely small. I will have to send back, but I don't know whether to ask for a half-size or whole size larger - that's how small they are.

I just got these they are cute and what I wanted but the arch support is terrible. Isn't that the Vionic thing? Also too wide in the heel. Why can't the manufactures get with it and start making Narrow sizes? For this price you shouldn't have to add another expensive orthodontic. I will order a size 6 to see probably they will all go back.

I am very disappointed in this shoe. The straps are too tight after a day spent walking. The back rubs against my heel causing blisters. Honestly just a very uncomfortable shoe. Not what I expected from Vionic.

Not very comfortable. Scraping the back of my feet. I tried thick socks - not comfortable at all. I tried thin socks - I feel the blisters about to form. Really cute. Seems small and narrow.

I found this very attractive shoe to be so uncomfortable. I have been wearing both Orthaheels and Vionics for years and have noticed that the fit has become increasing undependable. I ordered this shoe in 8 (my normal size) and 8 1/2 because of other customers' recommendations. It does run small! The shoe looks great and is kind of dressy with the satiny straps that go across the top, but the arch is out of place and it feels so hard on the bottom. I am going to be in Europe walking on cobblestones and can't imagine wearing these there. I'm so disappointed.

Extremely uncomfortable for a Vionic shoe. The elastic straps dug into my foot and the shoe did not fit well, which is unusual for Vionic.
