After trying several boots, I have paid the price for this boot simply because it turned out to be the perfect boot for my 10B foot. Most of all, length, width, style, and waterproof were all important to me. Jillian has a nice cushioned sole, and the fit left nothing to be desired. The heel height is perfect since I am older and will be wearing this boot for many years, I hope! I knew as years go by that I would eventually not want a higher heel. Thanks to Zappos fast, free delivery and free returns, I shopped til I found La Canadian Jillian!! There is definitely no better place to shop than Zappos!! Bless all of the workers and management there that make it possible to be a totally satisfied customer! Love, Love!

Perfect boot in every way, I love the comfort and fit around my ankle. Only returning because the espresso color isn't black enough, although a beautiful soft black, it doesn't look right with my pure black coats and clothing.

La Canadienne is my favorite shoe brand right now because their shoes run narrow, just like my feet, and they have a memory foam footbed that is perfect after I injured my feet overdoing it with my new activity tracker. My old shoes no longer work, and I've been shopping for lower heels that still look cute, especially for work. I loved the look of these in black and the brown looks so gorgeous in the photo too. They would be perfect to wear with dresses and skirts. Unfortunately, I agree with the other reviewers that these boots do not feel as cushioned as others from this brand. There is also no arch support. I really wanted to keep them, but I ended up getting a couple of other pairs from the same company that worked better for me. These are still more comfortable than other shoes from other brands. I kept Jewel, Silvana and Prince instead. Another reviewer turned me on to little arch supports from Pedag in Germany that you can tape into existing shoe padding, for models that didn't have enough. Jewel is my favorite and didn't need any help. Silvana is the most cushioned overall. Enjoy!

La Canadienne boots are the best. I can wear them all day at work, and outside in wet or cold weather. My other pairs have held up beautifully over years. Expensive but worth it.

I was nervous this boot would be too small (euro sizing) but I found it to be a perfect 11. They are SO comfortable and well made - a classic look that you can dress up or down. I love that they are also weather proof. Super excited to wear them this winter.

These boots are fabulous! They are comfortable, the style is flattering, and the suede is lush. The boot runs true to sizing. Originally I ordered a size up as I assumed they would run small as most Aquatalia. I highly recommend these boots as they will flatter your foot and be appropriate for casual and business dress.

Beautiful boot but absolutely no padding. Stylish but uncomfortable. That's unusual for this brand.

I am a big fan of La Canadienne. I have a pair that has stood the test of time and fashion for 10 years. These are my new favorites. Very comfy, and I have high volume feet with a bunion. Very stylish - I plan to wear these with my new kick flare jeans. I like the shaft height - just different enough. These will be perfect for a Colorado winter.

Amazingly comfortable and stylish cool booties. That would be my third pair of suede La Canadienne. The quality of suede is unparalleled. My Galaxy boots lasted for 9 years. Spend money on them; it is an investment you will be blessing yourself for.

This is a beautiful and elegant looking boot. I usually wear an 8.5N or 9N so I ordered each size knowing I would return one. Both boots were very large. I measured them and they were both the same length. I'm not sure if the label of the 8.5 was mislabeled or not. I would have to try this in a 7.5N and 8N. What I liked about the boot was the slightly tapered heel, the ankle height and accurate fit for a narrow. It is almost impossible to find a boot that fits a narrow foot. This boot can be worn with casual clothes or business. It is very expensive but would be worth the price if they last a long time. I'm still debating whether I want to order another size. I didn't get the impression that they would be as warm as I would like but would suit most needs.

I have paid the very huge price for the best boot. I have searched for the perfect boot- last year and again this year - looking for correct width, length, heel height, waterproof with a classy style to fit my 10B foot and not make it look a mile long like I have found most boots do. La Canadienne is my go to winter boot choice and I usually wear a size 8.5 in this brand although I do have at least one or two pairs that are a size 9 to accommodate an (over the counter -- drug store/Target) orthotic insert to deal with my (narrow side of medium, narrow heel, and very low vertical volume, e.g., zero padding on top side of feet) typical foot-slide in most boots. I ordered these in my usual 8.5 and while they fit they were not comfortable, which in my experience is very atypical. My arch had no contact with any part of inside of shoe. I tried with my OTC insert and that addressed gap between arch and foot bed of boot but created other "fit" issues.... I will reorder in a size nine and see how the fit is with non-custom orthotic but they are too pricey to keep unless the fit is super comfortable.

Great looking, really like the square toe, but 1/2 size to large. I have other boots by the same manufacturer in a size 11. Need 10.5 in these but they are not availabe. Sadly, I have to return these.

Attractive, practical boots but they run quite narrow through the mid foot. A real disappointment since they are offered in only one width. Sadly, sending them back.

Perfect fit, so comfortable. I did put in a low orthotic from Aetrex which is better for my feet. These boots are stunning, high quality and worth every penny.

I gave this the Jillian 5 stars as it's very cute, comfortable, fit's true to size and generally as nice a boot as any of the La Canadienne boots I own (I have 3 pairs). I did return this boot, but only because I liked the Jiji short boot better. The Jillian is more casual as compared to the Jiji, with the short heel and softer rounded toe. I think the Jillian would work wonderfully with pants, but I was looking for something a little dressier to wear with skirts/tights and feel the Jiji was the one for me.

I really wanted to love these but one of them was a too tight across the ball of the foot. Really a beautiful boot. Possibly could have taken to get stretched at a cobbler shop but didn't want to take the risk.

I love La Canadienne boots, and these especially though I wish La Canadienne would bring back 'June.' But - quality control alert - the first pair I returned because they looked as if they'd been worn; they were all scuffed up. Second pair somewhat better - not perfect but I can live with.

I am usually an 81/2 or 9M in shoes but i always order 9.5 in boots. I love these boots but I have very sensitive feet and the front part of the boot is just a little too stiff for me. I love the look but the comfort factor (for my picky feet) is making me return them. The toe box is wide enough and doesn't pinch my toes at all.

The boots were delivered late Tuesday evening. I wore them for the first time today. The boots are absolutely gorgeous. The fit and style are perfect for my sales job in Minnesota. I have two other pairs of La Canadienne boots from previous winters. I have to say that the Jillian is sleeker in style and comfort. I'm a believer.

Zappos delivery was excellent - arrived within two days! The boots, however, are not as described. There is very little padding or comfort in the footbed. Just an ordinary boot at an extraordinary price.

Beautiful, well made boots. I love the lining and they're the perfect shape to wear with dresses and tights. Unfortunately, I paid $350 for a pair of boots that were clearly already worn. They came in a box with none of the standard packaging (no tissues in the boot to hold the shape, nor wrapped in paper to protect the suede). They're scuffed already and the suede is worn down on the toes and the heels. I can see scuff marks on the soles. Someone likely returned these and Zappos resold them at full price. I'm very disappointed and will be ordering direct from the manufacturer from now on.
