I was a little concerned when I first pulled the jacket out of the box - it was so light. On the day I received it the temp was 3 degrees. So I tossed it on immediately to go outside and discovered how great it was. Very warm and comfortable. Very happy with the purchase.

The quality is simply elite. By far the best coat I've ever owned. Skip Canada Goose, The North Face, and Patagonia. You're home here.

I wore this XL jacket in 20 degree temperatures during the night/early morning with nothing but a shirt beneath and it kept me warm. So warm that I began to sweat a little. I am a big guy at 6'0 and about 288 pounds. The jacket feels a little tight around my midsection but i have enough wiggle room which allows me to sit comfortably in my car while driving. It has good deep sized pockets which allow me to place my hands inside to keep warm and also to carry things like my wallet and iPhone 11 Pro Max. It did become somewhat uncomfortable to drive in my car while these items were in my coat pockets. I am unable to zip up and cover my chin due to the design of the jacket, but the hood that comes with the jacket will do when I put it on. Besides that I have no issues. I strongly recommend.

I gave it my husband as a gift. It's truly quality. He love's it. It's snug so I do suggest upsizing one size. But it's warm. We live in MN so we are used to layering in the winter.

Love the classic look of this jacket and also like the removable hood. Hasn't been super cold yet but it's a very warm coat that I think will work great all winter. I am 6'1, 220 lbs and usually in between a L and XL, the L fits me perfectly.

I was looking for a stylish jacket that would be warm as well. Since purchasing I have received multiple compliments when wearing the coat out. And we have had temps below 20 degrees lately and I have had no problem keeping toasty warm. Highly recommend!

I bought this for the upcoming winter cold. I like the throwback vibe and the front upper pockets, as well as the hood.

Great construction, fit, and very warm. Good looking style. Stoked I bought it. It is a little on the heavy side weight-wise for the typical Marmot jacket, but I'm ok with it given the warmth and quality/tough fabric.

This is one of the best jackets that I have ever purchased. Not only does it keep me warm and cozy, but also, keeps the rain off of me. Its insulted with soft lining. I feel like a big bear when I wear it. The BEST invest I have ever made!!!

Excellent jacket in style, color (blue-blue), BUT: it is listed as "REGULAR FIT" and it is NOT REGULAR, it is way too large, even with a pile jacket underneath. I immediately requested a free exchange of my XL to L. If Marmot exchanges, I will change my review from 2 stars to 5 stars.

Just bought and tried on, love the fit, can't comment on warmth just yet so will have to give a quick summary to date, quality is good, fit is good, Very stylish. I'll determine if it compares to my normal brand of Northface. As for now, I'm satisfied

I like the style with pockets at chest level. Great for the cold weather below 0 Celsius. Warm and very comfortable. I haven't tested it down below -10C yet. Note: in the picture online the jacket looks two tone: black and dark grey/gub metal. But the jacket is actually all black in color.

Boxy and big for the size label, but warm and well made. The sleeves have somewhat annoying, elastic cuffs, and there are too many flaps and seams for my liking, but this is a warm and comfortable jacket for those days when I need to be outside with minimal activity. I would not want to ski hike or move too much in this jacket. It would be good for standing around during a cold football game or perhaps Chevrolet in the drive on a subzero day

I bought this jacket in late winter cause I wanted something stylish that was comfy on dog walks and for occasional snowfalls in central VA. Though our winters aren't extremely cold February can get in the teens and this jacket is more than warm enough for that. Light rain and snow bounces off the shell nicely though from my research the seams aren't sealed so it's possible moisture could get into the down. I love the style too! My only other complaint besides the possible moisture issue is that when when you zip up the jacket fully it's quite tight in the neck area. I can't wear a scarf and even a neck gator can be too tight if it is thick. I tried on other jackets which were designed better in that area. Sizing up didn't help much.

Jacket is very warm and good quality. Big problem for me is I have a 42 in chest but am only 5'9". Per sizing chart I purchased a large and it fits my upper body good with room for sweatshirt or layers if needed, but the sleeves are way too long. The other annoying issue is well documented regarding those really long cloth wrist bands inside the sleeves. They stick out about an inch past the sleeve. Double annoying for me as the sleeves are already too long.

Like the style. Super warmer. Have to return it because feather leaks crazily.
