NOT a shoe for the overpronator. I have the GT 1000-4 this version is terrible with little support for the runner/walker with even moderate over pronation. Gotta return.

I've had these shoes for about a year. I wear them everywhere because they are so comfortable. I'm on my feet all day at work and walk great distances for exercise. I've had them for about a year and am buying two more pair just in case. I need arch support and also have arthritis in my toes - these shoes are wonderful - good arch support and enough room for toes. I can't say enough good things about them.

These shoes are great! I'm hesitant to buy sneakers simply because I've been burned in the past! I've bought all the brands you hear about on TV and they all have similar problems for me, scrape my achilles tendon/cause blisters/just aren't comfortable to wear in high activity. I was feeling incredibly defeated in my search for a nice pair of shoes to wear for running so a friend of mine directed me to Zappos, he had heard about it in a college course on Entrepreneurship, and I figured I'd try it out. I came on and located the Customer Service tab to talk to a representative about my specific issues, particularly my issue with my achilles tendon always being cut up and the low arches on my feet, and she suggested I try one of three Asics styles. I decided to go with the cheapest (this pair) so I wouldn't invest a ton of money into something that I might end up having to send back. Ordered them, showed up two days later, went on a run and they felt GREAT! I tend to favor my right so my right hip gets the most work, resulting in frequent "popping" of the joint and these shoes not only fixed my major issues I had talked about but helped realign my hips! My left hip was very sore due to lack of use, but I'm INCREDIBLY happy that these shoes go above and beyond what I expected! My feet don't feel like they've been totally destroyed after a run, I have no blisters, I have no cuts on my ankle, and best of all it's helping correct my bad habit of favoring my right leg! I would definitely recommend Zappos to a friend and recommend they try either this shoe or speak to a representative to find the shoe that fits their exact needs. My only negative would be that perhaps the shoes run a teensy bit small, maybe a half size. They're a little tight but work fine for me regardless. If your current size is already a little tight I'd definitely order a half-size up. Also you might want to replace the laces, I thought they were a little short making them hard to lace but it's also nice because I don't have to double-knot them.

I love these shoes! They are very light and very breathable. I really like the color, but it is very bright (flash coral/white/peach melba)

These were attractive and comfortable, but runs small.

Loved these. Wore them right out of the box with no issues. Ordered another pair same shoe - different color. Definitely recommend!

Having had a bad experience, with the ASICS 2000 4, I finally sought out another option. I'm a die-hard ASICS fan, so thought I'd drop down to this make/model. I went with the sizing that I had bumped up to in reaction to probs with the 2000 ... and it turns out THIS shoe is apparently sized more realistically. It feels like a good ol ASICS potential, but I'm exchanging for more appropriate size ... with fingers crossed. My bad. Not the shoe's fault. Will review again, after exchange. Potentially 5 stars, and esp grateful for the all-black model!!

Has the sizing changed? 7D fit perfectly in the past, but now first 7D and then 7.5 D were much too narrow across the toes. I give up. I'll order a different brand.

Love the shoe. Great fit and arch support. A little snug across the foot though very comfortable and light.

Asics are the only running shoes that fit me - just the right length and good arch support. Due to bad knees, I wear them all day long. But as a size 11 wearing, close-to-middle-aged person, I look pretty silly in neon shoes. I was thrilled to find black shoes on Zappos that I can wear this winter.

I love these, I like to have extra room in the toe box. The arch support is great, but I add SOLE support to them, no trimming needed in a 10.

Very comfortable my wife says! She said they fit great and really comfortable to walk long distances!

I was personally looking for a shoe that I could wear to work with a specific insert for a possible recent condition - morton's neuroma. I was told to find something not too tight in the toe area. This were perfect... and trust me I looked for a good while. I also needed all black to try and blend in a little with dressy work clothes. These shoes have been great!

Love this brand and this line! These shoes are perfect for training/running and consistent between upgrades. I've worn Asics for over 10 years - and now running 60 miles a week. My favorite shoe!

I have worn Asics athletic shoes for quite a while. I normally wear a narrow shoe but can wear a medium in Asics and they fit fine. I use these shoes for everyday wear and for going to the gym and find they are very comfortable and wear well.

Great shoes for running on the roads. Can be slippery when running on dirt steep trails.

I purchased the glacier gray/pink and find the color very attractive and unlikely to show dirt. I needed a 7.5 which is a first for me. I have always worn a 7 in Asics. I wasn't sure the areas of support were right for me; the support on the outer side near the base of the toes felt like it might be too much but after walking 5 miles in them I find everything about this shoe works for me. I have high arches and these give me good support.

These Asics are a good fit and I'm enjoying walking in them. I am not a runner but rely upon Asics to give me good support. Used to take narrow but have been wearing medium width for some time as my feet have broadened more and the bones are more evident. These were a bit narrow but I expect that to "open" more as I break them in. I walk 4 miles minimum a day and had no trouble putting these on and starting my walk immediately. Loved the aqua color as well.

I loved ASICS GT-2000 line---until they changed the sizes a while back and my usual size 8 made my feet fall asleep during workouts. After reading a few reviews that said the GT-1000 line was still true to the olds ASICS sizing, I ordered these. Perfect fit. I'm glad I went down to the GT-1000s.

Best sneaker ever!

I liked the look of the shoe but it is cut very small. I ordered my normal size and was surprised at the fit. Consider ordering a size up.

First let me say that I have small, hard to fit feet with high arches and I underpronate. I love these shoes. They are extremely comfortable and feel like they were made for my feet, very supportive, yet flexible. I've worn them for a couple of months and still love them so much I ordered another pair in a different color. They arrived today and are just as comfortable. These and my Brooks Ghost 9 are the most comfortable athletic shoes I've worn.

My feet grew after my pregnancy. These shoes are very comfortable, lots of room in the toe box, and are light weight. Very happy with my purchase!

Straight out of the box I wore them for a busy day at work (as a nurse) and they were perfect!

My feet gets tired easily and it's difficult for me to find sneakers that I consider comfortable enough. These are amazing! I love them and I love Zappos' wonderful customer service! They do run half a size small though so please keep that in mind.
