Very cute vest. However, colour in images is misleading: the vest is not as glossy in real life, it's just a regular black vest. I was very disappointed when I unboxed it, but I am keeping it because I need a sleeveless jacket.

I love this vest but in the white dark feathers could be seen. I returned and repurchased a black one.

North Face decreased down content and increased feather. Not as good as previous year’s.

I've bought a couple of The North Face Aconcagua Vests in different colors in the past several years and I love them.They keep me warm in chilly weather but not too warm. I usually wear a bulky sweater or a hoodie or even long-sleeve t-shirt under it when it's not too cold outside and they always look great together and it fits nicely. The black vest I purchased this year has a slightly different style with straight horizontal stitching vs angular stitching on last year's Aconcagua vest, but I like this one as well and it looks good too. The only thing I don't like about this one is the icky material in the pockets. Former vest were made with softer better fabric for the pockets that felt nice when you put your hands in the pockets. I hope they improve that for next year's because you can't really have too many of these.

Had to return for smaller size. Patiently waiting for my refund.

Worm not nice

3.5 Stars! Very comfy vest, but not as shinny as shown in the photo. Also, not much shape to the vest, but I bought it for comfort.

Nice vest, but fits more snugly than a medium I bought a few years ago (that I still wear daily!). Great color.

Very good for heavy-duty winter months

Vest was nice and well made, but I returned. It was too big on me, I did go by what other people were saying about the fit but it was too big and too long on me. I ordered another vest style, one that is a little cropped and a size small.

Love the product but it seems to run small. Normally a M and had to buy a L which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 4 or 5.

Nice Vest

Seems very light. Hope it does the job this winter and the young lady I bought it for likes it

LOVED the beautiful white color and shape, but it was a little big. 5'2" @ 110 lbs and got a small, but should have gotten an XS. I exchanged it for the Thermoball because it was a little thinner and slightly more slimming even though the color of the Thermoball was a grayish color, not that pretty white like this one. Now I'm a little sorry I didn't try the XS in the Aconcagua before I returned it.

I'm petite(5'3 /110) and ordered a small-way too big but good for layering.

I fractured my left elbow the day after Christmas and was in search for a cute and warm vest, as it was challenging to wear a jacket with sleeves, while having a splint on. I am 5'5", 122 lbs, 34B, and usually wear a size 4. Since some of the reviews stated that this vest runs big, I decided to order both a XS and a S (my usual size). I was disappointed when I tried on the XS. My husband and I both thought it looked bulky and not very form fitting or flattering. I didn't even bother trying on the size S. Other than the bulky look, I thought the vest seemed warm. However, I didn't wear it outside in the 30 degree weather, since I knew that I didn't want to keep it. At this price point, I prefer a more flattering look. My husband thought that I could probably find a similar looking vest at Walmart for much less. I still prefer Zappos, as they have a great return policy, fast shipping, and the convenience of online shopping.

I love the color of this vest and it seems so warm. I returned it because I needed/wanted something a little longer.

Love the vest but since it is tailored it is too snug for me. too bad cause otherwise i would love it!

I purchased this as a replacement vest to my white down Columbia one which was shedding feathers due to age. I loved that vest and really was hoping this one would be the perfect replacement. It's well made, fits really well, I'm 5'6", 36C and the medium fits perfect. But it's not very warm. I feel that I need many layers under in order to be as warm as my older vest. I like that it's not as puffy, but it only gets really warm when I turn on the heated seats in my car, then it holds the heat really well. So I give it 5 stars for both comfort and style, but overall, it's not warm, so a 3.

This vest is very confortable and fits true to size. Unfortunately, when ordering the black you actually get more of s shimmery grey color.

I liked it, bought a medium because that's what it recommended with my height/weight - unfortunately was WAY too big, had to return

I had the Aconcagua vest previously and it was thicker than this fill and had an inside breast pocket as well as warmer hand pockets and tightened at the bottom. This new version of the Aconcagua was a real downgrade from the past version I had. It wasn't as warm and felt like a cheap replica. Really disappointing as I loved the past model.
