To bad their not available in larger size. I need 310 at least, preferably 315 mm (at least 48 2/3 in your system).

I loved these boots when they arrived. But the first time I used them in wet snow my feet got wet. I saved up to buy these boots and now I'm back to square one. I like everything else about the boots except for the fact they are not water proof like the description

I purchased these as a Christmas gift for myself. It was hard not to wear them before Christmas but on Christmas Eve I had to open them due to the severe cold that hit everyone in the northeast. I was so excited to finally wear them since they are rated high for warmth. Especially since I'm a mail carrier at usps that's outside all day. The laces have to be double knotted or will come loose within minutes. No biggie tho.
Well I wore a pair of my Army issued wool socks with them and within 30 mins my feet were ice cold and numb!! I've loved ALL of my Salmomon products until now. So disappointed and don't even know what to do with them now:(

I received these boots as a gift and on the third time lacing them up a hooked eyelet (speed hook, speed eyelet, many other names) pulled out. Even though I didn't purchase them I would still think they would hold up a little better. Fit, feel, and warmth are good.

Honestly I don't have any complaints.
I wear these boots in the Winter time and in the summer time.
Yes they are stiff but very comfortable. This will be my second pair as soon as they come in to stock.

One of the lace hooks near the top of the boot popped off the very first time I wore these boots while untying them. My last pair of Salomon boots lasted over 10 years. Very disappointed.

This review is not based on having purchased the boots yet, but to say its such a shame boots at this price are not more robust and well thought through.
I have purchased Salomons for years and recently I have noticed points like the stitching and crease lines being in the wrong position to ensure durability. I'm not a designer but surely revisions based on customer feedback can be achieved more quickly.
Based on the current reviews regarding the stitching and stiffness of the toebox I won't be purchasing, which is a shame as I really hoped these would be exactly what I need.
I'll naturally look out for a revised pair.

Bought these boots to keep my feet warm and protected from the elements so I could do some walking in the winter. Now they are Junk! After a few months of walking the seams tore apart where the foot meets the toe! Boots with holes in them! Engineers need to create a flex point at this location to allow the boot to flex without the stitching tearing apart!

Love a lot about this boot but it is a poor design, cheaply made that leaks on the threaded components on each side of the boot. I would not recommend or purchase, sorry I did.

The boots come one size smaller, with the cold the materials become rigid and hurt, and in a month they have begun to come off due to the poor and low quality of the materials, a terrible boot for belongs to this brand very far from products like the s-lab ... the very high price for this disappointing product.

Bought a pair for my wife, 2 years and 1 month ago, barely used, came apart at the seams. We both had a pair of Salomon waterproof hiking boots as well, and soles completely unglued after 2 years 6 months, again not used very often. I have had boots that cost half this much last twice as long, and certainly never come apart at seams or have the sole fall off. The warranty is only for 2 years, but it seems that just leaving them in a closet for 2 years causes the material to disintegrate. Very disappointed with Salomon quality these days.

I bought this boot for my son thinking it was better than the Toundra non-Pro's that I own. I was wrong. His are fatigue cracked opening up the boot just behind the rubber toe cap on both sides of each boot. The Gore-Tex liner is still intact. He used them only one season primarily for hiking.
I've used my boots for four years for walking and snowshoeing. My boots have 2 deep creases on each side of each boot but the outside hasn't been breached yet. The rubber toe cap doesn't extend down the side as far as it does on the "Pro's". I believe this allows the boot to flex better sharing the stress between the two stress sites rather than just one site (as with the "Pro's"). I'm very disappointed. I would have thought Solomon field tests their products. Warmth and weight wise the boots are great. A couple of winters back I was snowshoeing in -48'C with no cold feet problems. If Solomon is listening - I'd be happy to field test products for you.

I bought these over a month ago to prepare for winter. I live in Ohio so it just started getting cold here enough to wear these boots. My main purpose was for buying these was to have a tall warm boot so in the winter i could take my dog out & train in the snow. I just started wearing them this week & they are the most uncomfortable boots I've worn in years! My feet hurt in different places on each foot on the tops because the boots dont bend. I usually walk the dog at least 3 miles a day on top of traing but these boots have been causing fatigue in my lower back, hamstrings & calves.

I am from Norway, using a lot of Salomon shoes for many years now. When I needed new wintershoes I was loking for good shoes for hiking and hunting. In wintertime in Norway we have a lot of snow and it is cold, so I bought this promising me -40 and waterproof. After just one season, all seams on both shoes where the foot bends when you walk, are ruined, and the snow turns in to water that makes the foot wet and cold. Bad quality on this, and are not what I am used to from Salomon. They are warm and comfortable until they opens up.

Took these on a Yukon hike in shoulder season. Good amount of snow and ice on the ground. Lots of off-terrain hiking over snow-covered talus. Seams separated within 12 hrs of the start of the hike, leaving me with soggy cold feet for the next 8 days. My hiking partner and I were both wearing Toundras, and all four boots failed in an identical manner pointing to a design issue.
