I really like these low top boots. I have a pair of Danner's that are almost identical to these only high tops. I love them for about 8 months out of the year. In spring/summer my feet sweat and I bought these to combat that issue - which that have. Sure they're not the most aesthetically appealing boots out there but they are super comfortable for someone on their feet all day, and great for warmer weather.

These shoes are truly awesome. A bit tight initially, but then they get broken in and are amazingly comfortable. However, be warned if you are going to be use and abuse them, the rubber near the toes will separate. I used some sort of seam sealer, shoe goo just did not work, and they are serviceable now. However, the WORST part, and the part that will probably happen to everybody, is that the inner heel area will start to tear. This would be an easy fix for Danner, with the addition of a leather patch for this area, but the fabric there is just not sufficient for on / off x1000. They were still comfortable, and I still wear them when I'm working in the yard, etc., but they are now real ugly.

The fit was great. I wear a size 11 Wide. I've had surgery on both feet and a bad back. So shoes that fit well and are comfortable are a must. Right out of the box, these boots felt very good. I didn't need to do any breakin. The quality is all Danner. I have other Danner boots and have become accustomed to their quality of materials and manufacturing. If I'm going to be on my feet all day and want shoes/boots that won't let me down, these are the "Go To" ones I choose. Also, like always, Zappos has great inventory and shipping.

Boy do I like these boots... Out of the box, they fit perfectly and were so comfortable that no break in was needed. Like all Danner Boots, they're very well made. They're appropriate for work, evenings out and all day Saturday for running errands.

The slip-on style paired w/ the work boot like sole are a perfect combination. I love them.

I was looking for a durable and comfortable slip on for working in the yard and on other dirty things. These fit the bill perfectly.

My hubby took advice of reviewers and ordered a half size larger than his normal size. He said it fit perfectly, not too large (he said that if he had ordered his regular size, he would have been able to feel the end of the boot with his toes.) These boots were comfy right from the start, with no break in time needed. They are good looking and will be a serviceable waterproof boot this fall and winter.

These shoes are awesome. I usually order a 10.5 but these fit like a glove in size 11. When I first put them on they felt a little stiff but in 10 minutes once they warmed up they are fantastic. The build quality is incredible. They are built like a tank! These are perfect all purpose work shoes that look great and feel better. These are the type of shoes that only get better with age.

Great, comfortable shoe for a long day on your feet. Pretty stylish, too. The squeak that others have mentioned insanely annoying. I’m hoping it eventually wears in and goes away. If not, I’ll probably have to replace the insole.

Bought for my son to use as work shoes this summer. He is 16 years old, very active. Loves the shoes and wears them all the time!

I like them. And I'd buy them again. However, there are pros and cons. Pros: - I really love the way they look, and I'm glad I tried out a low-top boot. I think they're going to end up being really practical. Cons: - The first pair I received, the rear pull-on loop broke off the shoe the very first time I tried putting them on. (But major kudos to Zappos customer service for sending me a new pair -- thank you for being you.) - Because of the way that they stay on your foot -- that is, using stretchy elastic rather than laces -- my feet start to hurt after a few hours of wearing them, so, I have to take the boots off and give my feet a break.

Compared to Keen or Georgia Boot, no comparison. I prefer either of the other boots. Maybe the boot would fit better after wearing for a few weeks but both the other brands feel fantastic right out of the box. This boot had little to no cushion in the sole.

Just like the other two pairs of Danner Hiking Boots that I own, these ones felt great right out of the box. The fit is accurate including the wide width that I need. The quality of materials and craftsmanship is what you'd expect from Danner. Overall, I'm very pleased.

I like Danner boots in general and these are no exception. They seem well constructed with structured insoles.

Order slightly smaller than a normal shoe since they are essentially clogs. The heel wears down quickly and rubs against the back of my ankle. Other than that I like them. Wish they had more padding on the back though. Can’t say if it’s the shoe or how I wear it.

Good fit, solid feel, but probably the most aggressive insole I’ve ever seen in a shoe. Super-thick with a rigid, “locked in” heel. I have high arches, so extra padding driving my foot up into the top of the shoe wasn’t what I needed; I replaced the stock insole with something flat and am much happier with the fit.

These shoes seem to run narrower than keens. They were not the rite fit for me.

I will be sending these back. The squeak and creak with every step. They also have quite a bulbous toe area that gives them a strange look.
