These particular shoes were chosen by my son going into 6th grade. He says they feel extremely comfortable. They are true to size and especially to width. This is the most difficult thing to find for him.I recommend these for parents whose kids have feet wide like a duck.

This shoe only lasted 2 months before developing a hole in the side. Not what I would expect from a child's shoe which costs almost $100. Not the usual quality I would expect from New Balance.

Ordered wide but appeared normal width.

I compared the Big Kid's size 4 W with the Women's size 5.5 W, as they both were listed as being intended for a foot with the same length. Both shoes fit me well. Some differences (besides the price difference of $65): the kid's shoe has fewer lacing holes and uses a wider shoe lace. The sole is thicker and padding is thicker on the adult shoe (so you are slightly taller in the adult shoe than in the kid's), and the adult shoe is slightly longer. I will try keeping the kid's size shoe and see how it works out for me. (I am an adult woman with small feet.)

This pair of shoes has lasted my 9 year old son for 6+ months, which is unheard of for him. Although they were expensive, they were worth every penny!

Good shoes. He was wearing 5's, and had outgrown them, so I ordered 6's. Probably should have gotten 5.5's. They fit generously.

These shoes are awesome. They are so comfortable to walk around. They are true to size also

Supportive, nice-looking, all around good shoe. Really, there's no arch support, but not all kids need it depending on whether they have developed an arch yet.

These shoes are awesome. My son loves them and says they are so comfy. Delivery was quik too.

These were recommended by my son's doctor. However, he didn't like the style so had to return them.
