Never owned a pair of Carhartt pants... until now. I love them so I'm buying the other color. I agree with the reviewers that mentioned to go with the larger end of your size range. I normally were a 4 or 6 and the size 6 fits perfectly on my waist and slightly loose everywhere else. I wear them while doing yard work, but I plan to wear them casually out and about. They are quite nice! Note: I'm 5'5", 125 lbs, waist 29", hips 34" and with an inseam of 30.

I like these pants. I wear a size 6 in various brands of pants so I ordered a size 6. These did fit a little looser but I don’t mind because it’s easy to move around when doing farm/garden work. I wear these in hot, humid weather and my legs don’t get super sweaty like they do in my other gardening pants. I’ll definitely be buying another pair in a different color.

Pants fit perfectly. Light weight compared to many Carhartt items, but good summer weight working pants.

These are the most comfortable pants that I own (including my sweats) I have a classic hourglass figure, and so pants that fit in the hips are usually too big in the waist. These are very relaxed in the hips but fit the waist. I wear a 4 or 6, depending on the brand so I ordered a 6 as other reviews said to order up. At 5'5", I ordered the short and the 30" inseam is perfect for the style (I was worried they might shrink in the wash, they did not) I personally LIKE the utility style & look, plus there are pockets for everything!

I had avoided Carhartts for years assuming they would be too big. These fit just snugly enough on the waist to stay up and they're incredibly comfortable. I love that they are very loose but not as entirely shapeless as men's clothes and the waist is clearly meant for someone with hips. According to the size chart I am between XS and S, but I normally wear a 0 or 2 in jeans (24-26 depending on brand) so I ordered the smallest size available, 2. They could be slightly smaller for me, but the pair I have washed and dried in the dryer did snug up a bit. The pants seem to be good quality although somewhat thin. I like that as they're perfect for summer and I anticipate wearing them in winter with thick leggings underneath. The calves are very wide so I have them cuffed to be less baggy. The pockets are great--main hip pockets are roomy and deep and other pockets are perfect for knives and scissors and odds and ends. I'm 5'6" with a slender athletic build, weighing about 110#. I find it really hard to find work pants that aren't so enormous they just fall off or that are tight in the legs and then loose in the waist. These are like rugged pajama pants--I love them!

I bought these for yard work and hiking, and I love them so much. I bought another pair in a different color! Very soft, not stiff at all like I thought they would be. Super comfy.

Bought these for yard work and am now buying a second pair so I can rotate and have a clean, non-poison oak contaminated pair to wear the next day of yard work :) I thought size 6 might be too large - and they will be a bit baggy when I lose that winter weight - but they are super comfortable to work in.

Three stars for style, five for fit and comfort. Did not buy for style but for rugged yard work.these are perfect lots of pockets. And agree,I ordered one size up which makes them more comfortable when bending frequently. Fabric is canvas but not too stiff or rough.

I ordered these in a 10 and 12 and ended up choosing the 12. One of the other reviewers commented that these run a little small, and I agree with that. I love the grey color. The fit is nice; they don't make my bum look dumpy and my legs are not pinched due to the original fit. I will buy again in other colors. I can get some work done in these pants!

Absolutely love them. They are comfortable, soft, easy to move in, everything I wanted. I've worn men's Carhartt's for years and they are stiff and unyielding. So glad to find women's work pants that fit well and look as good as work pants can.

Great pants that are a comfortable work pants. Comfortable enough and good looking to be worn anytime.

A friend and both ordered this style in out respective sizes and it's snug in the waist so we both had to size up. So just be aware of that, but they're pretty comfy and just what I need when working in a construction area and at home in the yard.

I usually wear men's Carhartts because the slightly higher rise feels more secure to actually work in, the pockets are deeper, they come in any length and waist size, and I can get them anywhere. That said, for times when my usual work pants are just too casual, I like these because they give me the same kind of utility in a pair of pants that's a more flattering fit than the men's.

I’m always a size 8(135 lbs 5’3”) these were too big/too long.

This runs fairly large. I understand it should be comfortable and easy to move in, but it was way too roomy for me. I am 5 feet tall and 110 lbs. I typically wear a size 2. I had read other reviews that these ran small, so I ordered both 2 and 4. They were a very comfortable material but far too large for me in the waist and hip. I was really looking forward to the fact that they made an inseam for short folks like myself. But they just didn't fit well.

These seemed super comfortable however they run very large. I get that they are probably supposed to be roomy, but even the size 2 was too big in the waist and hips.

I always wear a size 8 in carhart pants; these are cut small, especially around the waist. I'll try a 10 and hope for the best

These run short and fat. I wear a 30" inseam, checked that and got size 8 Short. And they are short. And quite large in the hips. And a cotton twill like any other pant. With spandex. Yes, Carhartt has spandex in them Not at all what I was expecting. I was expecting heavy-duty work pants, not a regular pair of pants with a hammer holder attached. Very disappointed, returning because of size, not ordering another pair. The only thing I have ever given 1 star.
