I have always ordered worn Birkenstocks but decided to try Betula. The sandals are just like wearing Birkenstocks - very comfortable, true to size. I took them with me on vacation and wore them several times. I am very pleased with these sandals and highly recommended them.

I have worn Birkies and Betula for years and needed a new pair of white and was glad to find this one in white. I wear a woman's 8.5 and the size 39 fits perfect. I wish they still had the two strap buckle style with the narrower, more feminine straps instead of the big thick straps of the Arizona style which I do not like. Was not sure I would like this toe strap but so far it is comfortable and looks cute. I was a little worried that the strap closest to the toes is not adjustable. I have a slightly wide foot across the toes and a high instep, but the strap is just right and not too tight. The sole is the always wonderful and comfy curved sole that molds to your foot. I am fine with the lower price tag and synthetic upper because as an animal lover I am not a big fan of wearing leather. I have never ordered from Zappos before and was pleased with the fast delivery. My other Betulas have lasted over ten years and hope these will wear as well. If you want a lower priced Birkenstock, this sandal is definitely worth a try.

Really comfortable

These were super cute, and the idea of cheaper Birkenstocks was a great idea. I've never bought Birkenstocks but what I know about these is, the toe was too far forward and non-adjustable, so, they just didn't feel snug enough for my short toes.

Holy smokes these are so narrow! I have narrow feet to begin with but am also flat-footed. I have a pair of size 39 narrow Birkenstock Arizonas and they fit me perfectly. Figured I would give these a try since they are a sister brand and were on sale. The soft footbed is nice and arch is similar to the Birks, however they definitely cut these narrower than a Birkenstock narrow footbed. If you have a wide foot there's no way you're fitting into these.
