I liked these shoes and they fit and looked good, but they were VERY HEAVY. I needed the height to help me walk with a walking boot since I broke a bone in my foot, and they were perfect height for that purpose. I was surprised by the arch support, which I need and didn't expect to have in these.

Platforms so the sole doesn’t bend at all but other than that, comfortable!

Based on other reviews I intended to go down half a size but it wasn't an option. I went with my usual size 6 and they're a little bit big but not so big that I can't wear them. A 5 would be way too tight, so a half size would be perfect to size down to. I absolutely love these sneakers and they're a lot more comfortable than I thought. They don't cut my ankle like converse do. I'll edit this review once I put some miles on them to see if they're comfortable for all day wear.

I love these, they are so stylish, simple, and minimalistic. I am 4'11 and a UK 36, so I ordered the size 6. It fits a little loose, but if I tie my shoes very tight, they work for me. I love them, they go with everything. (:

I’ve been buying Superga since the late 80’s I believe. Always beautifully made and great styling. However, they did change the sizing. I ordered a 10 which is a 40, but they’re calling a 10 40 1/2. Nope, 1/2 size too big.

So cute, ordered these in a 41.5 which should be a size 10 but they are definitely too big. Reordering in a half size smaller! Adorable for summer though

I love these sneakers--other reviews mention the slip on the back heel and that is real, however for me it's not an issue. I don't wear socks with these and as I wear them (and probably as my feet get a little sweaty) I don't notice the slip at all. With socks it's very annoying so if that's your preference you probably won't like these. I love the platform style sole! Generally the sneaker doesn't look great on me, shortens my legs and just overall unflattering, but with the platform I get a little length and style. LOVE these.

I own a pair of Superga Cotu Classic US size 7 1/2 EU Size 38 in black and was so happy to see have them in platforms. I got them in the same size as my other pair. I did try 1/2 size up (US size 8 EU 39) and they were way too big. So I would say they are true to size.

I love this brand and have 3 pairs of their regular (non-platform) tennis shoes. I much prefer this style as these give substantial height while still providing the casual tennis shoe vibe. They can be a little roughs/scratchy on the inside without socks the first 3-4 wearings, but I usually wear them for short periods to start. I purchased the cafe noir (cream color) because sometimes the bright white of tennis shoes is distracting and obnoxious, if that makes sense. This is an awesome neutral you can dress up or down. I had the white pair 4-5 years ago and with the platform they just look like a huge white billboard on your feet. I much prefer the other colors.

Styling of the shoe is A++. I really like how it gives added height. What I wish someone told me is this: order your EU size not American. Also, due to platform sole there is zero flexibility in show when walking- this combined with weight of platform makes the show easily slip on the heels. For this reason go a half size down and invest in heel protection

These win for LOOKING adorable! They absolutely do - nice lift and make feet look cute. However, the flattering platform has no 'give' and the cut around the heel and ankle is they slip off my heel with every step. So don't buy these thinking you'll be tromping around Firenze or LA or anywhere beyond a block or two.

The shoe was cute, but because the platform was so substantial the shoe would not bend, so it tended to flop back against your heel when walking.

Definitely size down, cute but heavy

This shoe is super cute, but my heel kept slipping out. I read previous reviews and thought it wouldn't happen but its true. Tried thicker socks and still was slipping out. Wish superga could fix this issue.

Super cute shoe, but runs very large. Would recommend going down a size and felt a little wide as well.

These are very cute and what I was looking for. However, first pair ordered in regular size was wayyy too large and second pair fit, except the heel slips a lot when I walk. Sad to return :-(

Super cute platform sneakers Sadly I am returning them because the platform is so stiff the shoe doesn't bend. The my heel ends up slipping out of the back. I know I will have a blister within an hour. Too bad they are really cute

I love and hate these. They are so darn cute, but the heel definitely slips off with each step so you have to tie them tightly. I ordered some heel pads to see if those will help. But I love the style so much and they are so cute I'm keeping them.

Cute but only 1/2 too small. I ordered a whole size smaller than my usual size 6. Had to return and reorder.

Listened to reviews and ordered a half to full size smaller than normal. I am a true 7.5-8 and ordered these in a 7. They felt a little snug at the toe. The shoe does not bend and the heel does slip out when walking. Not practical at all. I am a heel girl and can pretty much sport any wedge or heel gracefully, but there is no smooth graceful walking in these shoes. Such a cute look but poorly designed.

I've purchased 3 pairs in the last 3 years, because I like the style and fit of these shoes. Every single pair has fallen apart in under 6 months. The backs and sides start showing wear within a month, but I keep wearing them until they have holes in fabric at the heels. My current pair (which I purchased in March) has had holes in it for months, and I've continued to wear them because I can't justify another $80 for shoes that don't even last a year.

I love Superga and this color is amazing. I was excited to try the platform and ordered two this and a slightly smaller platform. This shoe, was a little more dramatic than the lower, but the sole didn't flex so my heel just popped out of the shoe with each step. Bummer - I sent them back. there is a slightly shorter platform - not as dramatic, but the sole fully flexes and I didn't have any trouble with those.

The fit heel slips. I wanted to try these for comfortable sneaks with some height of course, but the heel slips. It's not so much that it is unsafe or really uncomfortable, but it is annoying. I tried a 6.5, but then, too short. I am a pretty solid size 7. I wear 7 in KorkEase, 37 Dansko, 7 Frye, 7 Keen. Had to return these. But of course Zappos rules, so no worries. I buy my shoes almost exclusively from Zappos because of the selection and service, ease of returns.
