I purchased the "Worn Blue Texture." I was enamored with the jacket from the picture online and was even happier with it when it arrived. I'm a size large in TNF and decided to gamble and order the large instead of sizing down like the reviews suggested. It worked out perfectly. It fit me flawlessly. I'm 6'1, 210 pounds, 42 chest, 34 waist with an athletic build and a size 11 shoes. I like my jackets to fit right in the middle. Not too baggy and not too tight. I had no issue with the range of motion in it. I hope this helps the next person.

Hubby needed a rain jacket for a trip. He's normally a medium size with a slim build, but the medium jacket was huge. The small fit him well and had room for a T-shirt, oxford cloth shirt and a shetland sweater underneath. I liked that the fabric doesn't look like rain jacket fabric, and the collar/hood lays flat when the hood is down. The zip pockets are covered on the outside, but there is no internal pocket.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, he is a size medium in shirts and jackets and this looked like a large on him. Had to return to order a small. He really liked the look and color. This jackets is more on the thin size. I ordered it in the blue denim, it has a texture like jeans almost just FYI

I should have listened to the other reviewers ... I found this jacket to fit a size too large. I didn't love the material either but is probably typical of a waterproof jacket. The Montague Blue color looks different than photographed -- it's a darker purple-denim color (I think it looks better than the photos). I think many will love this jacket but not for me.

This was a gift to one of my sons who live in Oregon Eugene(Go Ducks)! We both have the same taste in clothes(bonus for me) I liked the style and color of the jacket, I also bought a sweatshirt along with it. He said he loved his new stuff!

I live in a rain forest and keeping dry is a matter of survival in S.E. Alaska and this jacket does the job! I originally ordered a large but was to small to wear layers underneath so I ordered an XL and it's perfect. I am 5'10" and 185 lbs.

I use it it for rainy weather and it does a very good job of keeping the rain out

Great jacket. Style is on point, fit s great with excellent comfort. If I were to change anything, I'd say some extra pockets and some internal ones. I would also like to have seen some more draw elastics to adjust the hood a bit better.

This is a solid rain coat for the 50+ degree fahrenheit range. The day I received it in the mail I got caught in a downpour and this coat kept me (and my phone) completely dry. Be advised: the fit is large to accommodate layers underneath, but I live in Texas and typically don't require layers.

First of all, if you always wear a large in a jacket or coat, then buy that same size in this. DO NOT BUY THE SMALLER SIZE LIKE SOME FOLKS HAVE SUGGESTED. I am 5' 11, 180 lbs, 34W and I purchased a medium based on comments several folks have made that the jacket was way too big and the sleeves were way to long in a large!!! ????????. I couldn't even get the Medium coat closed and the zipper up!!. The jacket appears well made and looks exactly what I am looking for--just need to return it and buy the next larger size.

Runs large... 5'8" 190... said to choose large, maybe even XL as next best, but had to return large for medium and still has room for layering.

The Millerton is a really nice jacket. It really is. It's comfortable. The lining is not clingy or plasticy. It's warm enough for wearing on a pretty cool day and cool enough to wear to stay dry on a Houston summer day. It's pretty light weight and packs down well. The problem with the jacket is how it compares to other rain jackets that North Face sells. It's a perfectly fine jacket until you see others that have pit zips, are fully package in the left jacket pocket, are 2.5 layers, have a fully adjustable hood, etc. This is more than enough jacket to be a solid regular wear option and a vital piece for walking or hiking in the rain. It's not so outdoorsy to be out of place walking in the city. But, there are other North Face rain jackets at a similar price point with more features. If you're not planning on packing this down for a hike or needing the extra pit zip ventilation for hard exercise, this is a terrific option. It's really well made and feels solidly built. The shell is polyester, so it shouldn't wet out anytime soon. If I really had to knock it at all on it's own merits, it would benefit from a fully adjustable hood. It adjusts at the chin to keep it over your forehead, but it lacks the adjustment that fits it around your head to make it move with you as you turn your head.

Great for hunting! At first I ordered an extra large, which is what I usually wear, but it was way too big. Settled on a large. Jacket is perfect now!

This coat is absolutely perfect for wet weather but the size is WAY off from every other north face jacket I own. I wear a small in every other single jacket I have but this one honestly fits like a large. Will be returning because as much as I love the fabric and the look it is just not made to size at all. Very disappointing.

Buy a size down as others stated. Looks great. I layer up in the winter and it is the perfect outer layer for me. Great range of movement. Straps at the cuff to wind proof as well as draw strings at the waist.

NorthFace great quality - super comfortable, perfect it. What's not to love? Repels water, keeps me dry. Hoodie fits great under it.

Water proof and great in high winds. Light weight.

I really like this rain jacket. It's breathable yet provide some insulation for the showering the in the fall. I'm 5'11 155 lbs I would recommend the small size. I sleeves are not too long so it allows you to cuff it without being too crop.
