The wheels are very poor quality and the customer service hasn't been helpful at all. I bought the luggage in October 2016, used it 4 times and one of the wheel broke. It is simply unacceptable.

Do your homework before you order. This bag is very large. I don't know if I'll ever use it, but I can't exchange unless I want to pay lots more for shipping than the bags costs. If there was fine print, I didn't see it. Buyer beware.

I ordered this luggage from Samsonite because of Samonsite's great reputation but I am highly disappointed. The luggage that I chose online appeared to be hot pink (which is exactly what I wanted). When I received it the color is purple. I sent 2 emails to Samsonite and both were ignored and I never received a response. I called Samsonite and was placed on hold and I never got to speak to anyone. I could return my purchase but I would have to pay shipping even though the purchase wasn't what I expected because the color was not correct. I will not order from Samsonite again. I'm a very unhappy customer.
Disappointed,

I bought this luggage set not long ago and this is the first time that I used it. It had a long deep scratch on the bottom and was damaged by the Airport during transportation. I reported to Air Canada and they will not accept my case and "kick the ball" to samsonite. They asked me to repair the damage with samsonite. However, I E-mailed samsonite and this is their reply. "They advised that when it sates "scratch resistant" it does not mean scratch proof (similar to stating water resistant vs water proof). They further advised that this would not be considered a manufacturing defect." I bought this set because it is scratch resistant and hope it will do the job. However it does nothing, and they even play the word game "resistant vs waterproof". If you want to buy this set just be mindful about this is scratch resistant not scratch proof. I know it is normal to have damage to the luggage when you transport it. But this is my first time using it and it does not last very long. The wheels are ok and the luggage is light.

The wheels are too low quality. The wheels create too much resistance to push the suitcase sideways. It wants to fall forward from the wheel drag. Wheels easily jam, then they drag creating a flat spot on the wheel surface.

Very poor quality piece of luggage. Used about 6 times in the past 8 months for light domestic travel only. One of the wheels broke and now the suitcase cannot be wheeled anymore and only dragged along the ground. Would not recommend this hard side spinner to anybody, poor quality and will break in less than 6 months!

I bought an Omni about a year and a half ago. I've used it on at least 10 trips - some driving & some flying, and it held up well. I recently noticed a small 1" crack in the polycarbonate. I took it to a nearby factory store for service & they sent it off to a contract repair service. The contractor sent the Omni back unrepaired with a note saying that they thought the crack was probably caused by a carrier and thus is not covered by Samsonite's warranty. I called Samsonite's customer service center to ask how their contractors determine if damage was caused by an airline, and more importantly, if there were any circumstances under which cracked polycarbonate would be covered by their warranty. The person I spoke to did not know, & after consultation, came back with: 1) they cannot second guess their contractor's opinions, and 2) polycarbonate cracks would be covered if and only if the suitcase was purchased with a crack or was otherwise malformed at the time of purchase. So in other words, unless you buy a malformed polycarbonate suitcase (??), any future cracks are not covered by their warranty! The lesson for me was that paying a premium for Samsonite's warranty is simply not worth the cost.

The suitcase is very spacious and lightweight. The wheels held up well, which I did not expect.
