I want to support Vivobarefoot for trying to produce decent minimal shoes. After years of pain, I've plunked down serious money and tried every good shoe that will fit my wide feet -- birks, merrell, mephisto, alegria, Dansko, etc. Nothing has helped that much. Now, I am trying to switch to minimal shoes and after reading and being convinced by Katy Bowman's books/videos/blog about body design/function. I've been looking for something minimal, pretty, and "attached" to the foot so toes don't flex all day causing calf tension. I started all in with Vibrams - the least horrid looking pair I could find. Super! Decided to invest in another pair. Sadly, this shoe's toe post hurt a lot. So, these are going back. Also, not as pretty as I'd like. I will be writing a separate review for the Vivo Kolhapuri. The Vivo Shiva offered elsewhere is really close. It's pretty but doesn't have a back strap and that's a must so your toes aren't constantly in flexion causing muscle tension up the body chain I'm going to have some custom made. Why can't shoe makers create healthy shoes (including those for winter) that allow for natural foot movement -- not scrunched toe boxes, still soles, etc? Sheesh. Zappos - please encourage mfgs to get on this!

These minimalist sandals are awesome! They're lightweight and fairly durable. I usually wear at 7.5 US, which is a 38, but ended up swapping for a 37 (6.5) because the 38 was way too big.
