I'm sure this question is raised a lot. Real pros, real MacBook Pro 15s. Despite what the description says, the thing fits MacBook Pro 15" just fine (in the orange sleeve). Mine is from 2013. It'll definitely fit the brand new 15s too as those are thinner. Build quality of the bag is excellent. Its been improved from the previous version of the bag.

Super design and style, well made, the best of quality. I have always been happy with Jack Spade bags, clothing, etc. I only hope that the Coach corporation will let Jack Spade be Jack Spade and not lower the quality and design to Coach standards!!!

This bag has a casual, lightweight look about it, but is extremely rugged and robust to the touch. It's comparable with Filson.

Very nice bag, but the laptop compartment does not accommodate my husband's 15.6" laptop, so we are returning for a larger bag. We chose this over a leather finish, thinking the waxed cotton would wear better for my husband who is on the road a lot.

Perfect for teachers, realtors, any career person needing durable, neat, classic looking bag to carry necessary files, papers and laptop or tablet - still with room to spare. Fantastic in all kinds of weather, looks better by the day.

Super bag- top quality and design- The color is darker in person than what is pictured which is great for a 12 month bag. The waxwear textile will age providing character and a handsome expensive look. Great find - Buy this bag !!!

Bought this bag for family member, still using it after 5 years. Big advantage is that it is 5.4 inches deep and most briefs/messengers are 3 inches deep. Materials are good, though after a year the strap frayed (only reinforced on one side with metal attachment). Jack Spade replaced the whole bag when that happened. It's doing well since. Holds lunch box, Nalgene, newspaper, book, suglasses, umbrella. Has a zipped compartment. All in all. very good.

...Bag is comfortable and roomy. My only suggestion would be to add a couple of pockets for small things that you need quickly like a cell phone pocket or something for pens or business cards.

I recently bought this bag because my old Jack Spade of 8 years was stolen. I can tell the build quality is still superb, really great materials. However, I would change some things about the design. I don't like how small the opening of the bag is. My old Jack Spade had a very large depth that could hold a lot of books for school. This version can only hold about a laptop, one binder, and some legal pads. I also wish there were more interior pockets. There is no pocket for me to put stuff just to forget it. Overall, I think this bag will serve me well, but wish it was bigger to fit more things.

Nice heavy canvas, but it was a tight fit for my husband's 13" laptop. The style was very clean line, it is a very dark brown, almost black

I am sure this bag works fine if you just want to put your laptop in your bag at home and don't plan to open it again until you get to the office, but it 's too unwieldy to use it for things like a book, bus pass, day planner, etc. that you need to access while in transit.

I purchased this bag after having a great experience with another Jack Spade bag that held up for years and I'm, really disappointed. In less than 6 months of daily, but very light use, the bottom has 2 holes at the front corners and the inner lining is already tearing at the seams. I suppose I can understand how the bottom corners could fray and have holes (despite marketing its durable qualities) but this is definitely not unique to my bag as I've seen other people on the train with it, and they have holes in the exact same place. The lining on the other hand is unacceptable, there has never been anything sharp enough to rip stitching and I've never stuffed the bag but the liner seams are already tearing. Look somewhere else if you actually want a bag to carry, well, anything.
