I have been looking for a great quality brand of sock and these are the ones. This specific style is more like a trouser sock, a little thinner wool. Not something you would use an outdoor walk in the snow, but they are great quality and I would think with good care these will last a long time.

These pair perfectly with dressy boots and kept me warm in the damp Seattle winter. Love these! I am a 7.5-8 and went with the larger (8-9) socks. They were not too big.

I love these Falke soft merino socks! I bought a pair a few years ago while on a trip in Europe and did not realize, until now, that I could get them in the United States. They have been my favorite socks because of several reasons. (1) They fit super well -- no bagginess that can cause blisters or discomfort. (2) They are warm (wool) without being too thick, so they fit well in my dress shoes. (3) They wash well and have held up over time.

I was willing to pay the price for nice thin soft dressy socks if these would have fit me. But they were too long and too narrow for my size 9W or 10W feet. The band at the top dug into my calf. If you have slender feet, they might work for you. The fabric was nice. I was very disappointed; still looking for the right thin dressy socks.

I've searched for years for good socks. Not too thick, soft and comfortable, hold their shape...I really can't say enough about them. I'm so delighted I've found them.

Ordered these to wear inside my boots. They are perfect weight, comfortable and well made.

First time buying Falke. Lovely sock. Great fit and so soft and cozy yet not bulky. So happy with it I went back to buy five more pairs. Unfortunately they didn’t have my first color choice, but still bought them. Plan to buy more.

These socks are everything everybody says about them: comfy, lightweight, stay up, fit snug without binding, warm when you need it, cool when you don't, and best of all for me: wool that doesn't feel scratchy! They truly are the perfect sock. That is probably why they cost a fortune. I hope they last a long time because I will have to sell a car to pay for another set!

Love these socks! They're expensive, but they stay up without being tight and are the perfect thickness to wear with any shoes. I like the basic colors and that they have merino. They're all I want to wear in the winter.

Amazing socks. Warm but not overly warm. Thin enough to wear with dressy shoes/boots so perfect for work. Comfortable and soft, not itchy at all.

These are lovely socks. Unfortunately I am looking for something a little bit thicker so these are going back. However, you just can’t go wrong with Falke socks, so I’ll just look for a style that is thicker.

I have been wearing these socks for several years and have them in gray and blue as well. They are soft and comfortable. I even wear them in the summer because they are lightweight. I wish Falke would offer the pattern merino socks that they sell in Paris!

Warm and thin socks, no seams to hurt my toes. I'd buy them again!

Foot and size great. I have used these socks for years. They are thin BUT they keep feet very warm and fit in nicer looking shoes. They are all I wear all winter. They last a long time if you hang them to dry. They last 10 - 12 years if you don't wear them without putting on shoes.

Incredible, comfy, warm, lightweight, sturdy. And they come in multiple sizes for a perfect fit. I will never buy anything else now.

Fit & size were straight-forward since I've been wearing Falke socks for years. This is my first purchase of the merino style and I wasn't disappointed! Under the assumption that they would be too bulky and hot and make my feet sweat. They are NOT. Very comfortable and soft on the feet. I will be investing in more.

The softmerino is perfect fit as apposed to the cotton. I even washed the cotton and it’s still big

Awesome socks! Soft and warm. They run true to size. 37-38 for my 7,5 shoe size.
