Tested it on a 7 day surf camp/flight to Baja camp, with an added 9 days on 'land'. Six passenger plane, 50lb total limit. Piece of cake, under 30lbs w/ room to spare. It's the type of pack you view at your house and want to pack it and go. Inspiring design, land and in seconds you have a true backpack, speedy exit. Tough zippers, well thought out design overall. Feels light too for 80L.

This is an awesome travel bag. I use it instread of a suitcase. You can get a ton stuff in this baby, and there are 4 smaller compartments. The shoulder straps fold down and zip in which is great if you need to check the bag when flying. Note it is too big to carry on a plane.

Very happy. Although under features of the bag a zip off daypack is mentioned and it doesn't have one in reality. It has to be purchased

I tried this and found it comfortable and well designed. It could be perfect if you would come up with a Lightweight, Compactable, Strong, Removable wheel assembly that can be used on cobblestone streets and dirt roads. Maybe 4 or 5 inch wheels. This would become my main luggage for frequent air trips. I'd get a roll aboard size for most trips but I'd also get a large one for my diving, climbing, fishing equipment.
