We were looking for a backpack mainly for outdoor use and after much research decided on the Poco Premium. This baby carrier is amazing and use it almost every day for: shopping, errands, festivals etc. my daughter loves being up high at eye level with everyone and the excellent hip belt and load straps do a great job of keeping the weight off of your shoulders and on your hips like a good pack should. I would recommend this to any new parent.

This is by far my best kids carrier ever. I have owned 2 of the Pogo carriers. I bought one the first year they came out 6 years ago. I bought a second one when we had twins. I have since carried all 4 of my kids in this thing. From the White Mountains in New Hampshire to the North Wood s of Maine. From the heat of summer to snowshoeing in the winter. I love that I can carry this comfortably at 6'5'' and 280lbs and my wife can carry it at 5'5''.

My wife and I looked at many different child carrier products before deciding on the Poco AG Premium. I we have uses this on many hikes, shopping at the mall, Zoo visits, special outdoor events(car shows, state fairs, and farmers markets), snowboarding, and while exploring city downtowns while traveling. The pack is comfortable to use even with 35lbs load. I highly recommend this carrier!

If I had a dollar for every time someone wanted to know more about this pack or if I could carry them I wouldn't need a job anymore. My wife and I purchased our first Poco four years ago for our daughter and another 2 years ago for my son. These packs have seen countless miles of trails in CO and UT. In addition they are absolutely brilliant at the Zoo (the kids can see over the adults). Like other Osprey packs we own they have stood the test of time. We love being outside exploring. When we had kids we were concerned that we may have to sacrifice some of that time. Not with the Poco packs. Our kids are comfortable and excited to get into them. They will even climb into them when I'm packing the car. The built-in shade is amazing. Especially during exposed hikes in the desert. Now that our kids are starting to hike more on their own it is still nice to use these packs for when they get tired. The carrying capacity (especially on the premium) makes it great as a day pack. I would highly recommend this series of packs to anyone with kids that loves being outside!

We didn't get to try the carrier before purchasing and were relying on the descriptions to be accurate in order to make our choice. The carrier delivered on everything that Osprey advertised and more. We couldn't be happier.

This is the pack I reach for when I take my kids on day hikes. I can carry my 18 lb 16 mo old with ease, and I can also quickly adjust to my 38 lb 4 yr old if I need to! I have owned several other baby packs, and hated every one. This carries all the weight on my hips, taking the stress off my shoulders. I love how it hugs me!

We bought this to be able to bring our 8 month old along on hikes and backpacking trips. It is a great pack but the hip belt is stiff and digs in the hips. I bought 2015 and 2016 models and i do like 2015 hip belt better. came on site to see if next years model was available to see if the hip belt changed.

This pack came highly recommended from friends and online reviews. We love it -- mostly. Our now-10-month-old has been riding high in it for at least four months now and he's very happy in it. He can see the world, is well-shaded, there's plenty of room for diapers in the storage pouch and it's so comfortable he doesn't complain. The big complaint from Mommy, however, is that hip belt. It digs in just above my hip bones, leaving bruising and now scabs. I've tried adjusting it, but don't seem to have the magic fitting (if there even is one). Baby is now twenty pounds and while there's usually a liter of water and a diaper and a few wipes stashed in the bottom pocked, I'm afraid for when Baby is a lot heavier than that! Even a short couple-mile hike will cause pain. I love this pack, but my tolerance for the hip belt is rapidly waning.

I also own the Atmos 65 and tested it in Big Bend and both bags have some gnarly rubbing on the hips, but with the Atmos this can be remedied with an anti-chafe cream and/or a compression base layer. The Poco AG Premium has a similar feel, but in the left hip there is a knot of fabric inside that puts an exceptional amount of pressure on the hip. I have yet to take the pack outdoors, because of the weather. I am glad I tested this pack first, because I would be limping home after using it.

I loved the previous model (2015) but this new model is really frustrating! The belt DIGS INTO YOUR HIPS and is so uncomfortable when hiking. I don't know who suggested it or why it was suggested to change the design of the belt. The previous design was so comfortable and is why I loved the 2015 model. The 2016 design is great other than the stiff hip belt. PLEASE go back to the 2015 belt. For this reason I am returning the 2016 model. :(
