Unfortunately this new model is a major step down from its predecessor. I have had the past two generations of this shoe and absolutely loved them. The new version is terrible. The sole is not nearly as flexible (it's basically a single piece, which is not good for someone seeking barefoot flexibility) and the upper is super tight. Overall the shoe fits a half size to a full size smaller than the equivalent older model. A major disappointment. I'm returning it for sure.

I ordered these sneakers in white, they were very narrow and my feet felt squashed inside - you can see through the fabric on the top of the foot, the toe box crushed my toes, there us no arch support very thin thread on bottom - U am not sure of shock absorbers as I only walked on carpet but did not have generous heel comfort . I wear a 7½ but ordered an 8 and this style is still way too tight - for these reasons they are going back - I will try again. I want to say that I love Zappos! You cannot beat the service - this is my first time sending a order back.

Tried these after burning through 3 pairs of Free Run 5.0. Wasn't crazy about the new 5.0 look of the thick sole so thought I'd give the new Flex Run a try. Not even close! Although these are very light weight and have the "look" I was going for, the whole ankle area is very thin and stiff. In other words, I could feel these around my ankles and they are not nearly as comfy as the Free. Unfortunately I've tried them out and now can't return. Lesson learned, stick with what you know!

I freaking love these shoes. Birkenstocks and Merrells are my other favorties, just to give you an idea of my foot shape. I have a collapsing arch, which means that though I have defined arches when my foot is lifted, when I step down the arches, you guessed it, collapse. I feel best wearing a shoe with moderate-good arch support, but not too much cushioning in the heel, and a wide toe box. These are great! I usually wear a 38/7.5, but since these run small, I ordered both an 8 and an 8.5. The 8.5 would be ideal for running, the 8 is good for everyday wear, lifting, just walking around. They have a slender heel, but a moderately wide toe box--I can spread my toes inside the shoes, which is a really big deal for me. I can cram my feet into narrow shoes, but when my toes can't splay with each step, my hips and sciatic hurt pretty quickly. 'Cause that's what happens when you have babies. ; ) The arch support is moderately firm. The heels provide some cushion, but you can still feel your heel strike, which is a good thing. And finally, they actually look good. I like the low profile. I like that they I can get them in all black. I prefer these to Nike Free, believe it or not. I've tried the Nike Frees. They're just too chunky for me. They look and feel like marshmallows on my feet. Love to you if you like the Frees, I know a lot of people do. Just not my personal favorite.

I bought these shoes for my 12 year old daughter. She loves them and states they are very comfortable. Her friends think they are cool, too, which is important at 12 y/o!

Love these sneakers! If I had to say one negative (not a big deal) is I feel that there could be a little bit more cushion, but I still absolutely love them and would buy the same ones again!

I initially bought these to take with me on a trip to Europe — I wanted to have shoes to run in while there, but still look put together AND have another option for comfy walking shoes. I love them — I wear them all the time around town in yoga pants and I end up reaching for them often to run in because they're so comfortable.

Love these, but definitely order a size up!

These shoes are so comfortable! I've put many miles on them over the blast year and they have held up very well. They are light weight but cushy enough to run 10+ miles with no pain.

great stylish, but minimalist. if you're looking for a solid cushion this is not the shoe for your. but if you want a low profile great walking shoe and great travel shoe, this is a great find! runs a little small in the toes, I wear with thinner socks to accomodate.

Very comfy and loved the color. Highly recommend.

I was hesitant about these shoes but they are exactly what I was looking for. I use them in the gym, on walks or anytime i'm on the go and need to throw on a comfortable sneaker. Very versatile and super cute,

I ordered three other similar pairs of Nike shoes after my Brooks began to wear apart. These shoes are super comfortable and light. I mainly use them for the gym or walking to/from classes, but these shoes held up during a short 4-mile run around the lake. These probably aren't the shoes for you if you're training for any distance running, but for casual running, gym, and walking -- these shoes are super great!

Nike Flex 2016 RN is a nice sneaker. Good arch support for my high arches and narrow enough for my narrow feet. I spend most of the day on my fee, at work, and they provide comfort and support. Love the colors that are available. I purchased the black and pink. I'm trying to decide which other color to buy, as I will be purchasing another pair.

I bought these shoes for my daughter, who is almost 11, for mandatory sneaker days at school. She finds that these shoes are comfortable, breathable, and cute (peer-approved)! They will definitely get her through the end of the spring school season, with a little room to grow.

We got there for our daughter. She & my husband LOVE them. They both have had several pairs and keep buying more. Comfy, the right amount of cushion, and look great. I will say, as with many sneakers, they run smaller than average shoes.

I have been using these for about two months for a dance ? aerobic exercise class, and I still love them! The wider base makes me feel more comfortable going side to side / like I'm less likely to twist an ankle even though my feet are narrow. Plus, they are just too cute. I get compliments every time I wear them!

LOVE this shoe. I ordered 1/2 a size up like other reviews suggested and it's the most comfortable sneaker I've had in a long time. I usually wear a solid 6-1/2 and I ordered this in a 7.
