Size charts are not helpful when they say "true to size" but no half sizes are offered, and there is conflicting info in all the reviews about whether these ran large or small (about 80% said large but you always worry more about the few who say they run small). My size is 9.5 so I called Ugg and their rep told me very definitively to order the 9, which I did. They were PERFECT and fit more the way I would expect a 10 to fit - very comfortable with or without socks, but not too big. I didn't have any problem getting them on or off my long legs (my calves are neither skinny nor heavy), which is mentioned in some other reviews. They took a very short time to break in - when I first went out with them, they felt just a bit heavy and they rubbed a bit at the front of the ankle, but by my second time wearing them all this completely disappeared and there's now nothing in the fit that is distracting and they are super comfortable. The pine color is maybe a shade lighter than hunter green and they look great with tucked-in jeans and a white top. Also they're not clunky looking like some rain boots. The leg area tapers when they're on so they don't look too wide. I'm so happy with these and so relieved about the size. I can't understand how other users described them as running small unless they have very wide feet or unless some of the other sizes fit differently than the 9 does. Also, the lining in the foot area is just right to make them comfy even with thick socks, and both the lining and the fit kept me warm on a couple of very cold days. These are sporty and not dressy boots, but they can still look somewhat elegant when worn with the right clothes. I love them. I live in Florida and bought these to keep up north for when I'm visiting, but I would consider buying another pair for rainy days down south. They come in some fun prints, too. By the way, Ugg rarely goes on sale but I hit one recently and it was worth waiting to get a good discount on these.

Okay so I bought the Sienna,black,size 9 originally because I am a true 9 in other shoes. Color is gorgeous BUT it felt definitely too big- at least a half size too big and even with thick socks felt roomy inside. Also the fit around my lower calf was quite loose so rain got in easily which was disappointing. I then bought these- Shaye,lonely hearts,size 8. Bingo! Fit much better-both inside and around the calf area. I can only wear thin socks inside, not thick but that's ok. If there were half sizes offered I would go with a 8.5 in these only because I perfer to wear thick socks..but size 8 fit and was comfortable- so I will take it. Although sizing was better,I was not in love with the color lonely hearts. Seemed too muted for my taste. I had my eye on the blue jay because I like blue but then they added the tango color to the selection and so I exchanged for that. Very bright, very pretty. I wore them yesterday and got a compliment immediately which was nice. These boots WILL stand out! Only thing I didn't like that I noticed after wearing all day yesterday was now there are crease marks in the front calf area where the boot bends. Noticeable if you look closely. No big deal though. I have been wanting rain boots for a long time and now I found the right one. Thank you Ugg company- perfect customer service, speedy well packaged delivery (thank you for offering free ship and exchanges) and durable, great looking boots!!! These are my 3rd Uggs and these boots are worth the investment in the return of wear you will get over the years.

I love jumping into them quickly on a wintery morning. Very warm and great in the rain. At first it took me time to accommodate to the wide fit - my feet are long and slim so size 8 was just too short, 9 is a bit big and especially wide and slips a bit from my anckle. But I totally got used to it and now they are super comfy and I like having space inside :) I prefer them a lot over the similar but shorter model which I first took and replaced, somehow this one holds the leg much better, especially because I have long legs. Highly recommended, I'm wearing them every day since got them . The black color is great!

I am currently pregnant so I needed some sturdy rainboots with good grip for the wet weather. The sole is thick and very firm I love them!

I love the boot but unfortunately I have wide calf's so I had to send the boots back because they were not comfortable on my calf's

I am a 9 in other boots and I was worried about these fitting differently! They don't. I ordered a 9 and 10 in these boots and kept the 9. These are just like any other pair you wear, where the first time will be tight but it loosen up! My boots look awesome on me and everyone complimented them. No one really knew Ugg had rain boots and now all my friends want them!

I would recommend ugg rain boots over hunter rain boots because these have the wool liner on the bottom, keep your feet warm even on those cold, wet days. If you have purchased the suede fluffy boots from ugg, I would stick with that size - ie. I am a size 9 in the bailey bows, so I got a size 9 in the rain boots and they fit great!

These rain boots are so comfortable! I have a wide foot and they fit great. I wore them for about 8 hours straight, mostly on my feet standing or walking around. Not one time did my feet hurt. When I got home I didn't even want to take them off.

I am normally a size 7 1/2, 8. I ordered a 7 because my classic uggs are a 7, even though it told me my true size is 8. They fit perfectly with a little room at the toe. I'm a regular width, but I have a bony foot, so these fit great and were easy to get on and off. I have a small calf. They're like walking on a cloud. I was expecting the worst and am so happy with my purchase!
