I am over the moon with these shoes and also another pair of flat Aetrex sandals. My particular type of plantar fascitis is from strain on my arches and the arch support in these shoes helps my feet relax and the pain go away. Moreover, they have plenty of adjustments so that they fit perfectly. The third thing that was unexpectedly wonderful about them is that the arch support holds your foot up on the shoe rather than having all your weight slide down into your balls or toes... I couldn't believe that after wearing these 2.5" heels for a few hours (the first time right out of the box), my feet felt as good as if I'd been wearing flats. These shoes make me hopeful that I can wear pretty shoes until I'm 100 years old.

I would NOT recommend this shoe! I was happy with this sandal when I first got it, although the style was kind of strange. It was the right height heel and had Aetrex's fabulous arch support for my high arches. In THEORY, this shoe is very adjustable. It was, for awhile, until the velcro on one of the ankle buckles started pulling up and now it won't fasten at all on that shoe. I got the shoe from Zappos but contacted Aetrex thinking they would stand behind this relatively costly shoe. After months of a run-around, they have just ignored me since I didn't buy it from them. However, I got the impression that even if I did buy it from them (as I have some others), they would not have warranted a used shoe. This is precisely why I hate velcro on shoes. The act of walking puts constant strain on the little plastic hooks and loops, and one way or another, it eventually goes out, often well before the shoe does, which is supposed to last for years.

These are wonderful. I needed a pair of heels to wear with a "nice" dress to an event. I NEVER wear heels. Seriously, like twice in the last five years. These were pretty enough to wear to a moderately fancy event and still be super comfortable. I'm looking forward to wearing heels again, even when I don't have to! The shoes have nice arch support and are very well cushioned, without looking too matronly. I have a medium - narrow foot, so this might be a little snug for a wider foot. It really runs true to size for me.

I am so excited! I was unsure of the size as the 38 runs like a 71/2-8. I wear a 71/2 - but have a narrow heel. Took a chance and got the 37 (7) instead - and it’s a fit! Also helpful: both the ankle strap and the piece across the toe have Velcro closures, so the width is easy to adjust!

I'm on my third pair of Aetrex Nayas which says a lot. They are comfortable and not too awful looking for a shoe with good support. Easy to adjust the velcro straps to fit properly. Bit on the pricey side but worth it for the comfort and style.

These are the most comfortable sandals I have even worn. I have tendonitis in both feet and cannot wear heels BUT with the excellent arch support in these sandals I am able to wear them and feel feminine again. Thank You.

I already own them in the flat and decided I like that look better than the wedge.The flat more comfortable, as well

I love these sandals! Still need to pad the metatarsal area, but overall I can wear these cushy sandals for long lengths of time without pain. They are stylish enough for me, although I would like to see them with less of a cushioned heel strap, which makes them feel kind of clunky.

I purchased the Aetrex Naya wedge sandal in black, size 8.5 as I have been replacing shoes because my right foot has issues, specifically with arch support. This is my first Aetrex shoe & was concerned about purchasing since I couldn't try it on beforehand but I went for it. LOVE THIS SANDAL. It's very nice in person, the fit is great & I am absolutely grateful for the arch support; it feels really good, best support I have found in a shoe. I'm actually wearing them as we speak! They are very comfortable, the buttons are stylish & the velcro is not that noticeable. Though the cost is a bit steep, they are worth it & I'll probably purchase more of this brand because of the meaningful arch support. One small thing that I don't necessarily care for is the different color of foot bed. You can see the black has a grey foot bed & I would have preferred it to be black. I am anal about this & like foot beds to match the the color of the upper when dealing with darker colors; i.e. black, brown, etc. Ultimately not a big deal when they are so comfortable.

I love these shoes. They are better than I expected. There is so much arch support. One of the best purchases I have made in awhile.

I really liked these but my slightly extra long 4th toe hung over the edge, so I had to return them. They'd be great for someone who has normal shaped toes. Wish they'd worked out for me.

I had never tried this brand before and was AMAZED by the arch support. I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes, and thought I would have to settle with flats from now on... not with these... I've found my new favorite sandal. Incredible arch support, comfortable out of the box, cute, and fits true to size. Definitely recommend!

I usually wear size 8 - 8. 1/2 . The size 38 fit perfect. The 39 too big, Velcro strap not tight enough. This is my second pair, Very comfortable, could wear for hours!

Exactly what I wanted. Velcro adjustable straps, but it doesn't look like cheap velcro. Soft and supportive sole, so I don't need any extra inserts.

Very comfortable sandals. Unfortunately, they seem to be discontinued and I can't find a replacement pair in my size. They are in European sizes and I'm between a 37 and 38 (a 7 to a 7.5). The 37 worked the best because many of the straps are adjustable.

The shoe bed is hard and firm. The shoe bed bends easily as you walk. The color is a deep brownish/bronze. There is velcro at the following locations: one over the toes and one around the ankle strap. I am very flat-footed and the strap that goes from the midsection of the shoe and connects into the ankle fits me perfectly. A very nice shoe that you can wear with casual or dressy clothes.

These are very cute and comfy. I got the black and will be ordering the bronze as soon as I'm notified that they're back in stock.

The shoes are very comfortable and really help with my foot pain.

I needed a strappy sandal for more formal events but the arch support was crucial. Anyone who’s had to stand during the often interminable cocktail portion of a wedding knows what I’m talking about. These delivered.
