Bought these for my 19-year-old son who is a prep cook on the weekends and is on his feet 10-12 hours per shift. He was having lower back pain and said "everyone" at work wears these. They aren't the sexiest shoe out there, but they do the trick. No more back pain. He's very happy with them, and so am I.

6-E Extra Wide Fit much better for me on the MW813Bk. Here, toes are pinched so different fit. Widest part is too far back from front of shoe. The 626 top seam shape is more Vee compared to 'U' on the 813. Not all extra wides are the same, depends on your foot. Might be OK if you get a size longer, but why bother?

After 10 hours on my feet, most shoes cannot keep comfort my feet hurt my ankles hurt. Now have worn these MID626v2 for a week and I have been able to stand all day and keep going.

This is my first pair of New Balance shoes and I’m happy with them after 2 weeks. I’m a delivery driver, so I’m constantly moving around on a multitude of different surfaces and in changing conditions and these give me the support and non-slip traction I need. I’ve previously purchased Nike Air Monarch IVs but they ten to squeak after about 3 months, and only time will tell how these will hold up.

These shoes are labeled as 4E width, yet when I received them they were narrower than my old 2E shoes! They DO NOT run true to size and should be advertised as such.

Great shoes ! Im a big guy with big and wide feet ,and my job requires a lot of walking and standing around . After buying several shoes ,the 626v2 are the most comfortable . I do recommend this type of shoes if you have a wide feet . Thanks zappos

I go on long walks all the time and have ordered New Balance for years. I had become disappointed with some of the new versions of New Balance. But I tried these and they were perfect. Comfortable and durable. I have had them for six months and they are still going strong. I always order wider than my usual size when ordering New Balance. I did so here and they fit well in the larger size.

I am not one to usually "rate" or "review" a product unless it SUCKS! I've been a cop for 20+ years and this isn't my first work shoe. Like everyone else, I've worn the old fashioned Bates shoes. I've been somewhat happy with Rocky boots and thru away $200+ on a pair of Danner's! These NB shoes are PERFECT! 3 weeks in and they are absolutely perfect! I haven't done the sloshing thru the mud and water yet and don't expect them to be waterproof! Durability is yet to be determined. The seem well built!

Fits great feels great. Walk on concrete floors all day. Feet don't hurt at the end.of the day and great traction

My husband said they are very comfortable. He's on his feet a lot during the day and is very happy with these.

This is the only sneaker my husband will wear. He's a Type 2 diabetic, with a very wide foot and he finds these shoes very comfortable. He's on his feet a good part of his work day and never has an issue with comfort. It's great that these shoes come in a 4E width!

I only wore my shoes once but I' m more than pleased with the comfort of them. I'll wear them to work on Monday and that will give me a better indication of how they suit me.

I wear them 10-12 hours every day while making deliveries throughout a high density metropolitan city, and they work great. I could not follow dress code without them. I have tried every non slip shoe and this variety is the only one on the market that is suitable, and I would recommend them to everyone.

These are great. The only reason I bought these was to get 100% traction on wet linoleum and I can tap-dance on it with these shoes. Ironically, traction on dry linoleum is not that good. The shoe held up great with no tearing after a year and I put 45 per week on them. Going to buy again.

Very comfortable. I have a stand up desk and walk 3 miles a day at my work. Shoes feel great and offer the right amount of support.

I find it very comfortable and the break in time was short. Good support after a long 10 hour shift bartending. I went with wide fit and found it true to what I was looking for.

These are good shoes but seem about twenty dollars overpriced in my opinion. They seem to last well. What I did not like at all was the sole of the shoe. The anti-slip tread will pick up every little piece of dirt, rocks, and food (restaurant work). Because the tread makes it a pain to get anything out of the tread I do not recommend them.
