The fit was fine, but the shoe doesn’t last. Their quality has gone way down. Not worth the price anymore.

We live in Texas, and it is not fun to wear socks when it is already 100 degrees out. My daughter absolutely loves to go without socks. So she adores these shoes and once she got them, refused to wear her other shoes, which were Adidas and were perfectly cute. The appearance is nice and does not look ridiculous with a skirt, although obviously not as attractive as a mary jane or flats. I have now washed these about 4 or 5 times. The insole comes out entirely and I put both the insoles and the shoe itself in the load. I use delicate wash, do them alone in a front loader, with baking soda, vinegar, and soap, then dry them in the sun. Within 12 hours, they are usually fully dry. I find we can go a few weeks before her feet and the shoes start to really smell--varies between 2 and 3. (We do not use cornstarch). The one negative I will say is that the front rubber thing on the toe almost instantly started peeling off our second pair. Like, within 2 weeks, before they had been washed I think. Then the other pair we had, maybe over 6 weeks, started doing the same thing. So far, the peel has not progressed beyond about half of an inch and is not impairing their wear. I keep meaning to find some fabric or super glue to fix it but have not gotten around to it. But I am definitely disappointed that for $65, we are having this issue....

Tsukihoshi used to be our go-to shoe for the kids, but in the past two or three years I've noticed that the shoes don't last as long and that the width seems to be getting wider and wider. We had to send this pair back (along with another pair of Tsukihoshis that we ordered) because the shoes were so wide that they gave virtually no support. Her feet were sliding left and right when she tried them on in our family room; I cannot imagine how her feet will stay in the shoes when she's running around the playground. Tsukihoshi, please bring back shoes with normal widths!

Wonderful shoe! My daughter’s favorite and has been for years!

My daughter absolutely loved these shoes. They are really cute and comfy. She wore them every day for a year and didn't want to change into other shoes she had. They are really washable and are still looking good now, a year and a half after the purchase. The only thing is the upper front of the fabric got worn above her toe and after the last cleaning there is a small hole there. But I think this is totally expected after more than a year of hard wearing. Great shoes! I would recommend. Also they stand rain pretty well (unlike my daughter's other pair of snickers that used to soak through) and weren't too sweaty in a hot weather.

I have a daughter with Down Syndrome. Very hard to fit for shoes. Always find just the right pair, size and style that works. We Love Zappos

We've been longtime Tsukihoshi customers and love that the shoes are washable. Sadly these seem to be wearing out very quickly. Coming apart and ripping in several places on the shoe. My daughter used to wear her Tsukihoshi shoes (in several styles) from previous seasons until she grew out of them but these are falling apart already after a few months.

These are perfect shoes for school. Easy to take on and off, great for PE and the playground. I have probably purchased over 25 Tsukihoshi shoes for all my kids.

Great for SMOs. Fit well, comfortable, durable, and have a removable insole. I keep ordering the next half size up for our daughter with hypotonia & gross motor delays.

My daughter loves Tsukihoshi. This is the third pair we have bought for her. She has them in light blue and black as well. She says they are comfortable for her to wear all day at school. She plays at recess and goes to PE wearing these. They have held up beautifully.

These sneakers are great especially the arch support which my granddaughter needs.

For my daughter with wide feet, Tsukihoshi fit perfect on her feet! You just need to order about a full size smaller than what they traditionally wear.

These shoes are spectacular. My granddaughter has had these in three sizes. We just keep buying new ones as her feet grow. They're beautiful, durable and comfortable.

My daughter wore the Glitz for the past 2 years. Unfortunately, they don’t make that style in size 1.5 and bigger. I usually buy my kids one size up, but this time I only bought half size bigger. One whole size bigger was too huge for her feet. She loves this style too.

I’ve only bought tsukihoshi sneakers for my 8year old daughter. She always likes the style, especially the colors and I like the fit. She is flat footed and wears insoles, which always seem to fit in the sneakers. With other brands, the fit can be tight after replacing the insoles. The sneakers last her until a replacement is necessary due to her foot growth.

We love Tsukihoshi sneakers. This is my 8 year old’s second pair. They fit larger, so I order down a size, but they are always comfortable, stylish and good quality. I have no problems exchanging the insole for a more supportive one since my daughter has flat feet,. Also, these sneakers last her about 8 months until she grows out of them.

Only brand of shoes my daughter tolerates (sensitive about shoes) - very lightweight and breathable. They’re great for her slightly wider foot and higher instep.

Excellent shoe and my daughter loved it, but as other reviewers noted it runs very large. My daughter wears a 4 typically and the 4 was about an inch too long in the toe. Will order a size smaller.
