These are great boots. Get a half size up as they taper in front. Otherwise they are comfortable and go with everything. The heel is just high enough to move them out of super casual into stylish. I may get the brown pair if Zappos offers them.

These are comfortable to wear all day.

I am never taking these off. The heel is the perfect height (a little boost but doesn't make me feel unsteady) and I wore these through a full day of walking around the city straight out of the box (they seemed a little stiff at first but softened up quickly). They look much better in person than they do in photos FYI. Sizing: I wear 8.5 90% of the time but had to exchange for a 9 because the 8.5 was just too small (and narrow?). Should have paid closer attention to the other reviews.

Very comfortable, and many compliments! I wear them with jeans rolled up and they're such a beautiful color rather than the usual golden tan that is so prevalent.

I get so many compliments on these shoes! I bought the black pair and never expected them to be as cool as they are. I mean, I love Clarks, they don't normally disappoint, but these are extra special. I get a compliment almost every time I wear them. They are sleek and very stylish right now and also very comfy. I can wear them to work all day with no discomfort. I highly recommend them!

New favorite shoes. Super comfortable, and I love that the gum sole means they're a quiet, slip-free shoe. They look really retro, but also very modern and interesting - unlike a lot of other Clarks. I get stopped and asked about them all the time. The tan leather is more of a true camel-y color rather than they appear here, it's much better in person.

If you want an orange boot, this is the one to get. You will get stopped by everyone you know wanting to admire them. I did go up a half size from my usual because the toe box was a little narrow, as other reviewers remarked. They are comfortable right out of the box. Wore them all day at work the first day. I think they are even cuter in person than in the picture. You won't be sorry. And my friends at Zappos had sent me some rewards points, so I was able to get them for a little less money, but they are worth every penny. And of course the Zappos service is always the best.

These shoes are super cute and look great. I have always worn an 8.5 and almost never have I had to get a different size or they not fit right. These were no exception. They fit great, weren't too tight and are very comfortable. The only thing to keep in mind is there is no padding in the bottom of the shoe like most Clarks, but they still feel good.

I ordered these in Black and Tan because I wasn't sure what color would work best for me. The Black looked great but the Tan color is awesome and was a more universal color for me. I absolutely love them!!

Really cute boot!! Looks great with jeans. They are comfortable for a little while, no cushion whatsoever. I invested in an insert ,which really helped in the comfort area!!

I've received so many compliments on these boots! They feel very modern and very traditional at the same time. They are mostly comfortable, just a bit of rubbing on my toes after walking several miles in them, but I do expect them to break in well. I wear a size 9 and ordered my normal size.

These are great! You should buy them! I usually wear a 7.5-8, and ordered an 8.5. They fit perfectly, and not just in terms of width—I'd say that the length is also small compared to the listed size. The 8.5 fits me exactly as an 8 would. Comfort-wise, I'd say that these could use a bit more insole padding, but it helps that the heel is fairly low, and the outsole is an extremely flexible rubber. The leather is fairly supple as well, and so far, the ankle opening has not irritated my ankles when worn with low socks. Overall, they look very smart and flatter the foot nicely. Buy them!

I'm almost always a size 9 and that fit fine in this shoe too (bought 9 and 9.5; will return the larger size). I don't have a narrow foot. Love the grey suede color. The shoe is very comfy with a little bit of heel height. I expect to wear a lot year round. Only negative is that only part of the lining is leather; the rest fabric.

These took me quite a while to break in. The arch support was quite awful. I had to buy inserts because my feet would be in pain after wearing for a few hours. Eventually they settled in and I didn’t need the inserts again. I love how these are slightly dressier than the classic desert boot. Despite the initial discomfort, I would buy these again.

Cute shoes with crepe sole but I normally wear an 8 1/2 and had to return for the 9. The 9 fit but I am still not convinced they are the right boots for me although I love the heel height. I just wish they had more support on the inside. They are kind of hard!

I was nervous to order these because of the sizing concerns others here have stated, but I took their advice of ordering a half size larger than I normally wear and it worked out perfectly well! These shoes are comfortable to wear to work and a nice feminine upgrade from the original desert boot.

I like a lot of things about these boots: the tan color is more of an auburn, which is very attractive, there's a nice rubbery sole, the heel is a walkable height. In the end however, I'm returning them because they're just a little clunkier in the heel than I'd like. With jeans, great. With a skirt, a little too chunky. I ordered a half size up, as suggested, and the fit was just right.

Clarks are one of my go-to brands because of how incredibly comfortable and well made they are. I was really excited about this shoe when I came across it, but have been disappointed by how incredibly stiff and difficult to break in they've been (I've been wearing the shoes on and off for a week and there's still very little give), the cut of the shoe which places the stiff leather directly in line to rub the ankle bones, the minimal arch support, and VERY hard footbed (so unusual for Clarks!). I have no idea why this shoe strays so far from their typical comfort (particularly with regards to the footbed). All that said, I'll be keeping these, in part because I wore them outside on the first day (stupidly assuming they'd be comfortable) and partly because I've been having trouble finding a replacement that fits the bill either. I'm hopeful that with continued wear and use of an added insole, these will be bearable. Do order half a size up as recommended.

I have a narrow foot, and these boots fit perfectly with a thin sock. I normally wear an orthotic, so I usually size up a half size to a 9,5. These were too long in the 9.5, so sized down to a 9. Fits great, but because they have little padding and arch support, I will probably put a thin arch support in them, I was disappointed in the foot bed since these are Clarks, expected a cushier feel. But they are so darn cute and just the right sized heel, I'll make them work. Lots of compliments since I think the desert boot look is unexpected and the color is definitely a plus. I bought the grey suede. Very current looking and a nice bootie. Felt they were priced right for the quality too.

I did as suggested in other reviews and ordered half size up and they were roomier in the toe box. There could have been more cushion in the footbed but overall a pretty comfy shoe.

Love this shoe!

The shoe is beautiful but I returned it today. It is too narrow for my foot. It is a shame Clarks doesn't offer a Wide for this shoe. I had purchased it with the goal to use it in Europe for city walking. As always, Zappos made it extremely easy to return the item.

Very cute, but the toe bed is hard and uncomfortable. They need more padding.

I wanted to love this boot, it was exactly the style and grey color I was looking for. Unfortunately, they were uncomfortable from the get go. I ignored reviews mentioning a narrow toe box, as I knew this wouldn't be a factor with my narrow to average feet. WRONG! They are a tad too narrow with socks, enough so to return. They don't feel like a Clarks with the lack of cushion either. At this price I refuse to compromise comfort.

These are quite uncomfortable - a surprise given that they are Clarks. A bit narrow and no padded insole make these a solid return for me.
