Comfortable and fit as expected but... if you are planning on buying these for pool activities like aqua-aerobics, DON'T. The soles are very slick when wet in a poolside location. The previous pair of speedos that I had were slightly "stickier" when wet and perfect for pool exercise. These may be fine on the shore but don't try using them around or in a pool, dangerous!

The white soles on the new Speedo Surfwalker Pro 3 are very slippery. The original beige soles were far superior.

Bought these for a trip to Hawaii where I knew we would walk for miles on lava rock and sand beaches and pathways. Last trip I was not prepared for this and had the entirely wrong shoes. These shoes were wonderful. The high deign kept sand out my shoes. They were pretty comfortable too. Was able to walk out onto lava rock and check out the tide pools and felt very stable in them. When these wear out I would certainly consider another pair. Found them very true to size.

I wear a 7 or 7.5 shoe and the 7 Speedo fits perfectly and is attractive. I got the classic black/white color combo. I purchased them for a trip in which our cottage had concrete steps right into the shallow sea (deeper at high tide). The sea floor was mostly sand, but also some soft marine plants. I wanted a little protection, just in case. While searching online for aqua shoes, I tried several brands and sizes (6, 7, 8)--as aqua shoes vary in fit. They need to be sort of snug on land, but not uncomfortable, so they'll stay on in the water where they loosen a bit. The Speedos were tight-ish while getting them on, but then felt fine. Other brands/sizes I tried were way too tight for comfort on land. And some were too loose. Cute styles that did not cover fully the top of my foot--such as Mary Janes --I felt would probably not stay on if swimming or walking in shallow ocean waters, as waves could easily dislodge them. I made the right choice. SIZING NOTE: I did NOT get my feet nor shoes wet when trying on, but aqua shoes are much easier to put on when both the shoes and your feet are wet. So if the elastic ankle cuff takes a while to ease onto the foot when dry, they will be secure when wet. If you can just slip your foot into them, like a slipper or favorite loafer, the shoes wll likely be too loose when wet.

I purchased these for use on a beach that had sharp stones and coral. My feet are narrow, so I bought a size 10 even though I normally wear a size 11. Though they felt too tight when I first tried them on, they were the right size for the beach and water. I liked that they fit snuggly around my ankle so no sand got in.

My old water shoes fell apart after much use. I purchased this brand for my husband and he loved them so I purchased a pair for myself. We walk the beach nearly every day and absolutely no sand gets inside the shoe. Perfect.

These were great for our Sanibel vacation. They fit well and stayed put. Very comfortable for a water shoe. Arch support was minimal.

I am going on a beach vacation soon, and needed shoes for beach walking and Kayaking. I am usually an 8 to 8.5 wide. I ordered this and the Speedo Tidal Cruiser in both an 8 and a 9. The Surfwalker is more attractive , but the stitching of the design on top, is irritating to my skin. The Tidal Cruiser fits me in the 8, and seems like it will be very comfortable. I need a higher arch, so I have put 3/4 length plastic arches under the insoles and that feels better to me. I look forward to having comfortable feet on my trip.

Was hard to get on, but the real issue: Too slippery to risk poolside. Returned. Too bad, cyan is a nice bright blue.

Best protection for beach walking. Tight enough to prevent sand getting in and no holes in the bottom. Sole is flexible but protects walking over shells. Runs small.

They fit perfectly - size 6. Better arch support than JBUs which I returned. I use them for rowing, and they fit nicely in the shoes on the foot stretchers.

I purchased these for Aqua Fit class at the gym. It is so much easier to do the exercises without hurting my feet with these on. The only negative is when you exit the pool the shoe is filled with water.

Great water shoe, light weight and easy to walk in and works well over rocks and for kayaking. I did have to order 1 size down--you need a snug fit! Preferred this style over the one with a zipper---I was concerned about sand messing with the zipper--no worries with this model!

I replaced some water shoes I purchased in Jamaica some time ago with these Speedos. Physical therapy routines I use in a heated pool twice a week require some padding, arch support, and traction to let me move through the water with weights on my ankles without slipping. They are exactly as advertised, arch support with good traction. When it's time to replace them, I'll buy another pair.

Ordered this shoe to walk my dog even though it is a water shoe. She likes to take me on unsteady terrain and they work well in the rain for obvious reasons. They are easy to slip on and slip off and I don't need socks like with sneakers. My shoe size is 7-1/2 and, per Zappos, went down to a 7 instead of up to an 8. They felt a little snug at first, but became comfortable after a few walks. I got the navy color and they look cute with jeans. Have worn them grocery shopping and they worked fine. They are a great alternative to sneakers, but don't count on them for a day at Disney as this shoe wasn't made for walking. The support and comfort are ample enough for my level of use.

This is my second pair of Speedo water shoes and I'm so glad they still make this style. These are very light and fit the foot like a glove. No sand or dirt gets inside the shoe but the sole is just thick enough to be protective. I forget I'm wearing them! And they're cute and not clunky at all.

I actually ordered this Shoe shorter… I have a very narrow foot… But I knew in the water I needed a shorter shoe since he’s only come in a medium with. I am very happy with how they stayed on my feet this morning at water aerobics. I typically wear an 8AA in a tennis shoe… or a 71/2 AA in dress shoes… but I ordered this in a 7 because it comes only in a medium.

Bought a 6 when I usually wear a 6.5, and they fit perfectly. Snug and secure but not uncomfortable. Can’t wait to go use them!

These were perfect! Bought these for a tubing trip where there would be river rocks and rocky beaches. So comfortable!

The Surfwalker is comfortable. It seems to be better made than other water shoes.

The Speedo Surfwalker Pro 3.0 feel comfortable, looking forward to wearing them for water aerobics.

I'm usually a 6.5 and I bought this in a 6. It fit just fine. Love the style!
