The solution to these flip flops having a tight fitting strap is to put them on then stand in a tub of water that is just hot enough for you to tolerate. 5-10 minutes is enough. Then wear them around for half an hour or so and let them cool on your feet. Sometimes it requires a second round, but the band will stretch and eventually stay larger. Otherwise you end having to get a size or two larger that are clumsy to walk on.

Read reviews before and ordered next size up. You need to or it won’t fit. Love them. Just what I wanted. Nice and comfy.

Tried these on at a store but they only had one style that was more expensive. Ended up with the flames ones that I like more for less and of course Zappos shipping is quick. Arrived on time and the fit is what I expected

These look and feel great. They do have toe groves so proceed with caution if you have weird toes.

I absolutely love these sliders, but beware they run a full size small. Some reviews speak of soaking them in hot water and wearing them till dry to stretch them out, but I'm a 9 1/2, 10 and had to exchange for 11's. They still feel a bit tight but I assume they will break in and be my best friends

As soon as my son slid these on he said they were tight and narrow. So needless to say we returned them. He’s a 7 - 7.5 in sneakers ordered both a 7 and 8. The 7 would’ve fit if it wasn’t narrow.

This item changed - I bought it a year ago and the strap at the top was very thin - a firm top with a kind of felt-like underside. I reordered because my dog got ahold of the old ones, and what I received was almost the same, except the top was super padded and lightweight (think Nike Benassi). I thought they were perfect before, and I returned these because I wanted an exact replacement. Luckily I was able to find the originals from another vendor. So, if you bought them before and thought they were uncomfortable and you wanted something with a more padded strap, try buying again... if you loved them before and want another pair, you’ve been forewarned.

I love the look of these, but unfortunately I have to send mine back. The strap is so tight, I can barely get my foot in and I really don’t think I have abnormally high arches.

Ran too narrow, like had to force my foot in them and I usually can wear Vans slides no problem.

The picture on the Zappos website and the Vans slide that I received are different. I wanted the slide in the photo. I hate the extra padding on the top. It makes the slide very narrow and stiff.

^^^ Bizarrely snug foot stranglers. I'm a 10.5 US, bought an 11. Other Vans fit my feet great and I've never worn a wide size in any shoe. The glue visibly had more give than the strap material. Footbed length was spot on so if I size up again I might look like I'm wearing dad's. Unwearable, rare miss.

The slipper were given as a gift. I have gotten the report that they were the correct size. So far, I have not gotten any complaints about the the slippers. I assume all is well with them.

I normally wear 10 - 10.5 shoes depending on the brand of shoe. I rarely need a size 11 however these size 11 Vans Slides fit me perfect. I read a previous review that said the same thing, and it is correct. These slides also have a nice support underneith your toes that I've never experienced in any other brand of slides. I think this is a functional addition to help keep the slides on your feet easier and it feels more secure on my feet than other brands. Vans for the win!

Fit is true to size. Fit across the foot was a bit snug but they do give in and mold to the foot as you wear them. My teenager approves of the style so I must have done well LOL.

I bought these Van’s slide-ons for my 14 yr old grandson. He wears a men’s 8-1/2 to 9. I ordered the 9 and they fit perfectly. He says they are so comfortable and of course he loves the iconic black and white check design. They were a hit for a picky teenager and I’m very pleased with my purchase!
