I'm a sucker for a jeweled thong, and when I saw that Dansko made one, I assumed that it would be something special. My first impression after first trying it, was that I would return them, as mid foot it felt narrow and quite uncomfortable along sides of feet. I am also not used to arch support in a thong, and it felt weird. But I kept them, broke them in by wearing a few hours a day. They now feel supportive and comfortable, however, not enough to justify such a steep price, in my opinion.

These shoes just arrived and I wanted to love them. They are so stylish, and because of the style and color, would be so versatile. They were extremely comfortable except the straps on each sandal rubbed the inside of my foot. Unfortunately, they are going back.

I am a size 8 1/2 in all shoes and boots, and I have several pair of Danskos, but these just did not fit. Sorry, they are going back, which is sad, because they are really cute.

I have been wearing Dansko's for years and was so excited about this sandal. I have been eyeing it for months and couldn't wait to purchase it for summer. I love Zappos customer service so this does not in any way reflect in them but this is the absolute worst shoe Dansko has ever made. I wore it to work (I'm a teacher) and by the end of the first hour I was in pain. By the end of the day, both of my feet were bleeding and I was unable to wear sandals for weeks! Not only did they tear apart my feet but after one wear, one of the beads fell off. For a sandal that costs as much as this one, there should be no breaking in and it should be made with excellence. I hope this does not reflect the direction this shoe company is headed.

I was so excited about these sandals, I love my Danskos but was so disappointed to have to return them, as other reviewers have mentioned they are so beautiful but made for thin feet, I could not get my feet all the way in, the top strap is too short across and does not have enough stretch. I am sad but I have to return them. Five stars for looks, zero for fit.

I wear Dansko clogs and other sandals all the time. I was excited to get these sandals. They were narrow and the thong hurt- very rough. Going back.

This shoe is insanely loose. It has an extra 1/2 inch of airspace above the arch. Such a charming style. I wore Danskos for years. What happened? Too bad this one was designed for an elephant's foot.

I tried walking them on inside the house and walking around. could NOT keep them on my feet. Didn't fit well.

I am very disappointed in these sandals. They are so incredibly uncomfortable. After walking in them for 5 hours, I could barely stand the pain. My heel hurt as did my toes where the thong part of sandal is. I wear Dansko clogs and love them, but I have tried several of their sandals and have not had any luck with any of them that are a bit more stylish. The clog sandals are still great, but these are terrible.

I am so sad! I read the reviews on these sandals and was in hopes that my feet would not have the same problems. Well, they did! Dansko, please rework these beautiful shoes. They need more give in the arch and the piece that goes between the toes just doesn't work. Sad to say, these are going back!
