Was so happy to get these ... had to wait for my size to get back in stock ... a beaded comfort sandal? Yes, please! And then ... could not so much as get ONE of the shoes ON my foot. Back they go. Dansko, what is going on? You should be a SOLID brand. I wear either a 41 or 42 in Dansko. 41 is really my length, but I will often opt for a 42 as my feet are wider. The leather beaded portion of this shoe - it's just flat out too SHORT in height. I could only slide my foot in halfway. Where is the quality control? I don't believe this problem will be particular to me, I see a lot of people returning these shoes. Do give them a try if the bones in your instep are pretty flat to the ground. Good luck.

I love Danskos but so few of them fit my feet properly. This shoe is beautiful but there is way to much of it above my toes - poor design and a trip hazard, besides looking awkward. The style is amazing though and I am so bummed to have to send it back. Please Dansko, try to design your shoes a little better....who has toes that long?

Oh my gosh, I've never spent so much money on a pair of sandals but I fell in love with these! I was looking for a pair of sandals for an upcoming vacation that are comfortable, have good arch support, and can be dressed up or down. I think I've found them in these Danskos! The price sure does sting a bit, but these are so lovely and comfortable. Oh - one thing I wasn't expecting, but ended up liking - the beaded panel on the Taupe Jewelled pair is actually a light gray, not taupe. The rest of the strap is taupe, but the panel under the beading is a light gray. This works pretty well though, since it goes with a gray dress I have but also looks good with khaki shorts, denim capris, and my black dress. Perfect!

LOVE these sandals. Soooo hard to find cute, fun sandals with all the arch support. These are great looking and great feeling.

For reference, I got the Taupe Jewelled color. I loved the look of the shoe and it is very supportive. I have very high arches and would say that this is adequate support. The style is neutral enough to be very versatile with many different outfits but it is not a boring or blah style at all, it has just enough "bling" to add some visual interest. The sole of the sandal also has a very adequate tread to prevent slipping - meaning that you an actually wear it out "in the real world" and not worry about slipping and breaking your neck on wet or uneven surfaces. The only caveat I have is the sizing of the sandal - I already own about half a dozen Dansko clogs and I wear a size 40 in the clogs. I originally bought this sandal in size 40 but it was a smidge too small (my toes and heels were right on the front and back edges of the sandal to the point of them almost hanging over). I had to exchange it for a size 41. I have another pair of Dansko sandals (the "Jessie" style) and when I bought them I had to get that sandal in a size 41 as well. So at least for me the sandals seem to run a 1/2 size smaller than their clogs. For comparison, I wear a 9.5-10 US shoe size in domestic brands with a regular/medium width.

I LOVE my silver pair! I've worn them more than any other footwear this summer. I've stopped wearing Jack Rogers because although I love them, after 5 summers of wearing them, my bones have shifted because of the pressure on the top strap. I've tried to jump on the Birkenstocks bandwagon a few times, but my size 10/41's look too big. So these beauties are the perfect solution. People who say there's too much sandal beyond the toe are right that there's a lot, but not unlike Berkies. I fit my usual Dansko size 41. Best sandal for me this year! The only ones I've taken on week-long vacations.

I have these in Taupe and Black, wear 9-9.5 and bought 40 and the fit is the same in both colors. It is a comfortable shoe but needed a little break in for me (toe guard a bit thick but softened up after several wears). I wore these walking quite a bit on vacation and being my first paid of Dansko it took a bit of getting used to but overall a great comfort shoe I have grown to love. I will say my black pair began to squeak as I walked in them and had to return for another pair. I was told when made something may not have adhered correctly. But my second pair has a bit of loose chain on one shoe. I hate to be picky but $135 for a thong sandal I want a shoe that matches the quality of my taupe pair. I'm going to exchange again and hopefully get the black pair right. The taupe is beautiful, neutral and almost more silver or pewter, much more stunning but both are beautiful which is why I went back for black. I have read reviews on quality, they are now made in Vietnam so my guess is Quality Control is lacking and not held to as high as standard.

Really a cute shoe! Arch support is a must for me. The Dansko Pamela has great arch support and did not disappoint me. The shoe is light in weight. The band across the top of the foot is wider than I anticipated but will not be a problem.

I wrote earlier that these feel large for the size but am now realizing that I didn't understand european sizing. I would say that they fee true to size.

Very good, nice footbed, I wore a 38 and take a 8M shoe (rather than 39) but my heel's right on the back upslope of the footbed. The difference in the smaller size is it hugs my foot well and stays on while walking fast and the larger size might have stretched too much to stay on.

I sent these shoes back! They are not cut right at all. The toe shaft made my foot bleed and never felt comfortable. I always wear a 39 and I had to force my feet in. These are strange shoes. And they are so cute.

I love, love, love these sandals, got so many compliments and wore them all summer.

I bought the blue suede version of this sandal and I love it! I have plantar fasciitis in my right foot and sometimes my foot gets swollen through the instep but this size (same as I wear in their clogs) fit beautifully. There is a lot of padding in the foot bed for my heel, and support for my foot. This style of sandal doesn't flop around like a normal "flip flop." It's wonderful. I can't wear even the most padded regular flip-flops when I'm going to walk more than around the house because of the plantar fasciitis but with these shoes, I can walk all day. I am waiting for the other colors to come back in style in my size so I can get another pair.

Very comfortable sandals! However, I have short toes and I just couldn't get them in all the way under to the slide part. So sad to discover this! These had really good arch support and were looked really cute. Oh well, back to Zappos and on to another style!

These shoes are heaven. I got the 41's which I wear in Dansko clogs rather than the 40's I usually wear in their sandals because I have a super-high instep and thought I'd need the extra size. I was right. They fit perfectly over my instep and they're not really too big in the footbed at all. I have plantar fasciitis and then are perfect to elevate my heels a little and and are cushioned so I don't feel any discomfort walking in these. I wear flip-flops around the house to keep the pain at bay, and these are so much better than any other pair of expensive or cheap ones I've ever owned. Bravo, Dansko!

I have a bunion and my second toe is raised in the middle due to a fall. It has been difficult to accommodate these issues in most shoes, especially fashionable or dressy shoes. However, much to my surprise, these shoes are not only comfortable, they do not press on those sensitive problems I have with my foot. They are very comfortable. I wear them when dressing up or for casual wear. They do not flop and the foot bed holds my foot in place. I usually avoid toe prongs because after fracturing my tibia and fibula and after internal fixation, my foot turns outward and toe prongs dig into the area between my big and second toe. However, this is not a problem with these shoes. I highly recommend them. Dansko, although pricey is well worth the cost in comfort out of the box.

too big! My feet are narrow; I bought my usual size in Dansko, which has fit before. Either they are changing their sizes, or this style is that much different; result, couldn't keep the shoe on my foot! The top was way too high, the footbed was too wide. Usually a problem in European shoes in general; this one had to go back. Shoe manufacturers: please think about those of us with narrow feet too!

I have been looking for a nice casual sandal and found these while searching and decided to give them a try. When I first received these shoes I was really excited! But after tying them on I realized that the strap was to low for me to fit my feet into. Had to send them back and try again. But thank you, thank you, thank you to Zappos awesome customer service! My new shoes will be here next day!

Got these for my wife who had a bad ankle injury and struggles to find comfortable shoes and Sandler she loves these!

These sandals are so cute. And they look dressier than a regular flip flop type sandal because of the ornamentation on the front. The foot bed is very comfortable and supportive, not always something you can find in a sandal. I wore them to work with a dress and leggings and they looked great. Highly recommend these shoes. Love them.

Excellent support. The toe strap is taking some getting used too. These are so cute and I'm excited to wear them this summer.
