I ordered these and the Z Cloud2 to compare. I usually wear a size 6.5 I ordered a 6. After adjusting the straps these fit perfect and are very comfortable. I have a slumping arch so I need arch support for comfort. The 6 hit my arch just right. My only dilemma is I have a skinny ankle so I tuck the excess strap around the back.

I bought these in the grey color as I have 3 other zx2 sandals, all in bright colors, and I wanted a neutral pair. This is my first cloud footbed and they feel nice. I have narrow feet and high arches, so I love Chacos because they provide excellent support and are adjustable. (Tip: the straps always slide around in new sandals. Get 'em dirty and wet, adjust them where you want them, and then let them dry. The straps stay in place when there is a bit of grit. Also, don't try to wear them super tight. When your feet flex when you walk, as normal feet will do, it will pull the straps even tighter on your toe - so loosen up! Also, I wash mine in the washing machine.)

I almost didn’t buy after reading reviews that toe was to tight or ankle strap was to loose. The strap is one intricate system that allows you to totally customize to your foot, directions are in the box!

So, I’m clearly late to the Chaco’s party, but better late than never. I love these sandals! They require a bit of a learning curve adjusting the straps, but the time spent is rewarded with cool comfort. I also tried the style without the toe loop and while it was comfy too, this style felt a little more secure, and I liked the color choice better. I live in Orlando and wear sandals most of the year, and if you’ve ever wished your supportive tennis shoes were cooler, then these are for you. I’ve worn them all day to the amusement parks and they were my primary shoes for a two week trip in Italy. I know many reviewers wear them hiking, but I’ve only ever used them in suburban/urban settings. The only drawbacks are that they will always look like a sport sandal so they’re limited in style and that they are surprisingly heavy for a sandal (but order them anyway, because that’s how they’re so supportive). Seriously, some of the best money I’ve ever spent on shoes.

have wanted to try Chaco's out for awhile but was put off by the price. Finally broke down and bought a pair of the Dora style (leather) love them. With that positive experience I sprang for these. Love them even more than the Dora style. More support for the arch and heel. It took a few tries to get the toe loop just right but once I did they were perfect. My foot pain has virtually disappeared. I'm a 9.5 in most shoes (sometimes a 10 depending on style) and the 9 fits like it was made for my foot.

I bought these shoes after having many months of foot and ankle pain. I found that this particular chaco fits my foot. It took me a number of tries to see which fit and foot bed style that worked for me. So, to anyone reading this! PLEASE BE AWARE THAT CHACO'S HAVE DIFFERENT FOOTBEDS TO CHOOSE FROM. So when you purchase a pair, keep that detail in mind. I also wear these in the summer all the time. I have found that these are perfect walking around Magic Kingdom or Epcot in the summer. Oh, and the only problem I had with this shoe was deciding on the which WIDTH to get. If you are unsure, order both the regular and wide width in the show you are looking for. The arch support in this particular pair of Chaco's is great! I have really high arches and quite a few foot and ankle problems and these shoes don't bother me at all, even after 8 hours walking around Disney.

Tired these as an alternative to the Updraft EcoTread - looking for something less burny on the bottoms of my feet than the originals. These were a little too soft around the toes - I was afraid they would trip me up. also, the metatarsal arch support present is either much lower or non-existent compared to the other versions - and I need that arch. I'm a little wide and wear an 8 or 38 in sandals and the 8s were just right.

Many people stated that the toe area was to small or strap on back was loose. They think that only one strap is adjustable. The whole entire strap is completely adjustable. The strap connects through the sole of the shoes to adjust everywhere, you have to read the instructions in the box to learn how to loosen/tighten the straps.

Chacos have a big arch support so you have to get the right size. I tried a larger size but they were painful after a few hours. One size down and the arches were perfect and my toes were just before the end. Wore these out of the box on the beach and traveling for 7 days. They were a bit difficult to adjust at first but when I got the fit right, they worked well. No blisters and no sad feet at the end of the day. Very good walking over rough terrain although not as grippy on slippery rocks as my hiking shoes. The pattern I got is understated but cute and looks good with shorts and skirts. If you want to take one sandal to do almost all, this is it. The only other shoe I took was a dress sandal for the evening and plane travel.

Bought these for a pilgrimage to Israel. Did tons of walking, no pain, no blisters, never thought about my feet. And they looked good no matter what I wore- pants, skirts, casual dresses. Love them

Love these shoes on the Pilot Navy. Hiked miles in them at Mount Rainier, perfect for travel and can be dressed up a bit with a cute travel dress but also for daily walks. Bought a pair for my mom and a second pair for me in black. Winner!

The wide fit is so much more comfy than the regular and I don’t have wide feet.

I was torn between ordering the 9 and the 8 as I am traditionally an 8.5 in most shoes. After reading the reviews, I opted for the 9 and after receiving and trying on, it was way too big; thanks to Zappos outstanding and fast exchanges, I received the 8 and it was perfect! I recommend taking some time to get to understand how the straps interact to loosen and tighten as once they’re adjusted properly, they are so comfortable!

I love these sandals in every way except that you can adjust every strap EXCEPT the ankle strap. Whyyyyy? Grrrr. Ankle is just too loose for me. Shoe flops a bit in back so needs to go back. Bummer. Next whole size down will be too short. I do have somewhat narrow heels and have this problem with shoes relativiely often. This shoe is just so comfy and quality so it's a shame. Adjustable ankle would have made it perfect.

I am not the kind of person that usually buys this type of shoe as they are not really my style, but I am so glad I tried them. They are supportive, comfortable, stable, and secure. I usually wear an 8.5 but these fit great in an 8. I like the Rindshell Slate color as I find it a neutral black shoe, without being solid black. It should go with everything. I tried both with and without the toe loop and single versus double straps and these were easily my favorite. I did not think I would like the toe loop, but that's what keeps it secure. Being able to adjust the straps makes all the difference. I also found the double straps more comfortable than the single which surprised me. I cant wait to wear these on vacation in Mexico!

I *really* wanted to love these. I have large, wide feet with bunions and plantar fasciitis and thought these would be perfect for an upcoming trip to Disney. Unfortunately, the 11s were too big in the heel - the back strap is the only part that is not adjustable, and the 10s didn’t have enough strap material for me to adjust them properly. Sigh.

My gosh what a practical pair of sassy sandals. My feet are free but also capable of 4 wheel drive. So fun to scurry around in. Cant wait to hit the trail with them. **TIP** Give yourself a couple of days to get them properly adjusted & the straps to develop a 'memory'

First time Chaco owner. I walk to work daily and these make it a comfortable walk. I get annoyed that I need to adjust the straps every day or so, but no blisters, and can walk in rain or shine. Wore a different expensive brand one day and and still recovering from blister.

My first pair of chacos lasted over 6 years with heavy daily use including hiking, kayaking, floating, camping trips and normal walking. Now they have slightly worn tread but nothing that can’t be fixed with glue. I remember those soles taking some time to break in (as I have flat feet, when the shoe had high arches). These cloud versions are the same strap layout but or noticeably less stiff for being new. I bought the golden yellow versions and love them! I hope with softer soles they will still be durable. Oh also while doing the first size adjustment I had to pull very hard to get the final strap step to move. There was a loud pop-sound then the straps adjusted freely.

These are my favorite sandals ever. They never disappoint. My dog chewed up the straps on my first pair 20 years ago and they let me mail them back in and they put new straps on them for only the cost of shipping. I also just bought my husband and kids new pairs as well. Thank you Chaco for keeping my feet happy!

Bought these for a backpacking trip and they were the best thing I brought with me! Came super in handy for white river rafting, showers, long days walking, etc. Fit as expected and super comfy; 100% recommend!

Lovely sandals and I wish they had worked. Something about the straps irritates my very sensitive skin. Very nice shoes ?

These Chacos are fantastic. They fit well because the fit is adjustable. They offer solid support. They're waterproof. What more could you want in a sandal? I normally wear size 9 in a sandal, but I had to go to a size 10 in these.

I love these sandals. I've not always been a Chaco fan feeling like often they are just too bulky. The idea behind a cloud sole appears to me. I bought them for a two week trip to Europe that included hiking, biking, and a ton of waking. They were terrific start to finish. The only downside was in Paris where most parks and paths are a fine sand so my feet and sandals got pretty dusty. Otherwise they were comfortable with shorts or skirts and even on days we logged 10+ miles my feet felt fine. I have issues with PF so these were a godsend. I typically wear a 9 or 9.5 sandal but needed a 10 in these. The toe loop adds femininity to the look and did not rub.
