These shoes look killer! Very stable platform, great grip, and will be good for hiking. As for everyday wear, not much cushion, and makes a slight popping sound when walking. Maybe some good insoles will fix that, but can't stress enough how good they look. Wore them in the rain for the first time today, shirt was soaked but feet were dry. I wouldn't want to run in them, but I could see myself hiking a slippery trail in Kauai and feeling good about my shoe choice.

Got the shoe for 120 Mil hike, need confort and water prof. The day I try them, rain and flooded streets at Miami Brickell Ave., was a perfect place to test the water prof... after my walk, the shoe was wet inside and I return to the vendor

This is my third pair Fastpack and all previous models have been fantastic and wear like iron. I especially liked them in the cold midwest winter. The current model seemed fine in store when I purchased them in April but now that it is cold and I start wearing them they make noise whenever I take a step. Appears fabric in the upper is rubbing making a sound like a piece of bending plastic. Very disappointed in this version.

This was a replacement of a pair of TNF shoes where the sole cracked. I loved them but these have folds on the tongue where they attach near the top of your foot. These folds dig into the top of your foot when you tie them rather than press into the soft part of the shoe. Very uncomfortable.

Bought a pair to hike the Inca Trail last year. They did a decent job on the trail but the sole started falling apart about a year after I bought them. Not sure The North Face should really be in the shoe business. Going back the competition.

these shoes abused my feet. skin came out from my feet soles, injured and blue nails (one of them with blood) and the worse thing my calfs were too tightened during the first 15kms of a 25km race and then couldn't run the uphill part. just abandoned and walked the rest of the route. now that I examine them I see that their soles show wear and their glue has failed in some points.

This shoe was sold to me at a North Face store by a North Face clerk for specific purposes and being waterproof was one of them. The clerk knew everything and assured me the shoe was waterproof and I told her it was the only reason I was purchasing it. It leaks like a sieve. Marketing the shoe as waterproof (even water resistant) is at the very least misleading. I would return the shoes today (wet and all) but I am on the trip for which I needed a waterproof shoe.

So i bought these shoes from one of the north face stores and im dissapointed. I work at a summer camp and i thought these shoes would hold up atleast a year but now look totally beat. I have a pair of reebok zig tech shoes that held up better than these (and i paid much more for these). It is upsetting that such a good brand sells such a mediocre product.

I had this shoe for six months and noticed the sole was starting to fall apart. This shoe, although comfortable did not hold up to normal wear and tear.

The shoe was nice and comfortable they also looked very well made. The problem is that inside the shoe has a red sole which stained like 7 pairs of my socks red and after eating them they were still pink. I called customer service service and they offered to let me return them which I did but now I had to throw out 7 pairs of socks just for trying these shoes. I returned them and will be hesitant to ever try another pair of northface.
