I've been wearing Smart Wool socks for years during our cold winters. This year I decided to try out the Women's Mountaineering extra heavy socks. I wear them in the house instead of slippers, they are that warm, cushioned & cozy! They wear extremely well; you won't be sorry for ordering these amazing socks. I also bought the Men's Mountaineering extra heavy socks for my husband, he loves them too!

Love these! I wanted a super thick pair of socks to wear without shoes around the house. I wear them like slipper socks and they are amazing. Also great with my snow boots or Uggs.

I bought these socks as a present for my mother-in-law. I had bought the same socks for her before and she requested another pair. She enjoys the thickness and comfort of wearing them in the cold winter climate.

Best socks! Wearing these now! I used to borrow my boyfriends socks while camping. They were the men version, but now I have my own and love them!! As soon as winter is here I am living in these 24/7!!

I've been wearing Smartwool socks for years, but I've never had and the Extra Heavy Crew Socks from Smartwool until now. These Women's Mountaineering Extra Heavy Crew Socks are wonderful! Their all-over padding is nice and thick but not bulky. They're perfect for when I need the extra cushioning.

I am a firm believer taking care of your feet through good socks and shoes. I wear steel toed work boots for my job. As a recommendation from a friend, I tried Smartwool heavy hiking socks years ago. What a difference in my feet comfort! I wear them almost everyday and they hold up wonderfully.

These socks are pretty bulky, but so worth it! I've been wearing them around Switzerland in December in tennis shoes and birkenstocks and my feet have never been cold. These socks are amazing! So soft and comfortable but also incredibly warm.

These are the most comfy and warm sock's I own. They are amazing. I don't wear house shoes, just these women's mountaineering heavy crews. They last and last. If wearing them in shoes I'd get bigger shoes, they are very thick. LOVE

These are so cozy!! They are thick, a little too thick for some of my shoes and boots. But they are so soft and comfortable and keep my feet warm when I'm at home without shoes on! I love them and would definitely buy them again!

I bought these socks to wear in the Wisconsin winters. Winter has not hit here yet, but they are very thick and warm, so they meet expectations with that.
The fit is great, but they do run small. I wear a shoe size 8-9 and bought a small, which fits perfectly.

Whoa! These socks are thick! As in they added over an inch of bulk to my feet, and my feet would no longer fit inside my athletic shoes. OK then, maybe thicker isn't always better. I just want socks that don't get holes in the heels after a few days worth of wear!! Back to the drawing board. (I'll bet nobody would ever get any blisters wearing these thick socks!! You just would need really big shoes!)

These are my favorite hiking socks by far. Awesome cushioning so after a day of hiking my feet still feel the cushion. As a mom with a husband and two sons I can't tell you how much I love the pink & purple colors. Never any question about which are mine! If you prefer drab colors you can also buy the men's socks. I am a size 6 and have worn my boy socks in a pinch- no problem.
